Kevin Kilbane and his fiancée professional skater Brianne Delcourt appeared on Dancing on Ice tonight, four weeks after their engagement.
The pair returned to the finale tonight and were asked by an inquisitive Phillip Schofield how the pair’s wedding plans were going.
Kevin, 43, replied: “It’s baby steps.”
The former professional footballer’s choice of words prompted the audience to shriek with excitement.

Phillip then shouted: “Already? Congratulations!”
Professional skater Brianne quickly intercepted and said: “No!”
Kevin got down on one knee to Brianne in front of his fellow Dancing on Ice stars.
He popped the question to the glamorous Canadian with a £53,000 ring.

Brianne, who was reportedly overheard saying, “are you serious?” wasted no time in saying yes.
Brianne shared a snap of herself flashing the huge rock, as she posed with beau Kevin.
She captioned the photo: “He was worth the wait.”
“Kev, you’ve made me the happiest girl in the world. You’re my fairytale ending,” followed by a heart and wedding ring emoji.
Fans instantly rushed to the comments section to gush over the news.

A second said: “So happy for you both, massive congratulations!”
A third gushed: “That is lovely news. Congratulations you make a lovely couple.”
During an appearance on Loose Women, Brianne said she knew she was going to marry Kevin, ahead of them even meeting.
She recalled: “The pro skater said: “I was coming through the tunnel at the stadium and it was a weird moment because I hadn’t met him and in my head, I had these little voices going, ‘I’m going to marry this guy. I’m going to marry him’.”
Their whirlwind relationship began late last year when they were first paired up on Dancing on Ice.
Kevin was previously married to his ex Laura for 12 years, and they share two daughters.
