Former Love Island star Chris Hughes has confirmed he was taken to A&E ahead of his presenting gig at the prestigious Cheltenham Festival.
Jesy Nelson’s boyfriend took to his Instagram page sharing a snap of his feet as he sat in the waiting room alongside a pal.
Chris captioned the snap: “Just what we need on the eve of Cheltenham” alongside an ambulance emoji.
It was later confirmed that he visited Accident & Emergency due to suspected kidney stones which caused severe pain.
Speaking to Mail Online, his representative confirmed: “Chris has been in some pain with suspected kidney stones – it has alleviated overnight after his trip to the hospital and some medicine.”

During the lead up to Cheltenham, Chris had been sharing videos and photos showing his excitement alongside snaps of his favourite horse, Annie Mc.
He captioned a behind-the-scenes video: “Love this film by the @coralofficial guys,
“Got quite emotional looking back over the amazing journey Annie Mc has taken us all on, and I can hardly sleep I’m so excited about her running Thursday at the Cheltenham Festival. What dreams are made of #AnnieMc.”

Chris has previously suffered from health issues and back in 2018 decided to freeze his sperm.
While appearing on Loose Women, he revealed that he had found a build-up of veins coming from his kidney on his left testicle aged 14.
He waited until he was 20 to visit a doctor about the symptoms as he was “embarrassed”.

Chris has since had keyhole surgery to drain the fluid.
He added: “I had my sperm from that frozen in case it didn’t work,”
The model has also stated that health issues run in his family, saying: “My brother is completely infertile but he had a miracle child… my cousin had testicular cancer so we’ve all got problems down there.”
Chris also underwent a testicular examination live on This Morning to raise awareness of testicular cancer and to show men how to check themselves.
Daily Star Online has contacted a representative for Chris Hughes.
