Charlotte Crosby's ex Josh won't kiss match on Celebs Go Dating over 'oral herpes'

Celebs Go Dating star Josh Ritchie ventured on a second date with Russian bombshell Natalia on tonight’s episode, on the hunt for love.

The duo headed out for dinner in London, hoping to rekindle the spark they both felt earlier in the week.

Getting ready for the evening, Josh confided to the cameras that he would be harbouring a secret all night long.

The 25-year-old, who recently split from Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby , was battling with a nasty cold sore on his lip – meaning kissing was off the agenda.

He said: “I do really want to kiss Natalia innit, but I’ve got a cold sore.”

Josh decided against any lip-action on the date due to his cold sore

Understanding the cold sore would be contagious, he added: “It’s a bit of a scumbag move to kiss her.”

However, narrator Rob Beckett called the reality star out, branding the blemish as “oral herpes”.

Small blisters that develop on the lips or around the mouth, cold sores are technically caused by the herpes simplex virus.

Natalia wasn’t sure what to make of Josh’s cold sore confession

Later, after his evening with Natalia went successfully, Josh confessed that no kissing would take place due to his cold sore.

Natalia exclaimed: “What the f*** is that? Like a herpes?”

He insisted it wasn’t, but narrator Rob Beckett agreed with Natalia, saying: “It is.”

Rob Beckett had a go at Josh for licking his knife at the dinner table

Luckily, it didn’t put Natalia off, as she geared up for a third date and the “kiss” that would be coming with it.

Promising his cold sore would be healed in time, Josh said: “I’ll be piling loads of cream onto it.”

Celebs Go Dating continues Sunday at 9pm on E4.
