Liam Gallagher admits all this 'corona talk' is making him want to 'get on it'

Liam Gallagher had decided to hit the pub in order to deal with the coronavirus – despite a self-imposed booze ban.

The singer, who had to cancel a number of his shows due to the outbreak of the deadly virus, informed his online following that he’s had enough of talking about the pandemic.

Taking to Twitter, he urged his followers to up their hygiene, along with admitted he could sink a few pints.

He wrote: “Seriously though all this Corona talk is making me wanna get on it if truth be told.

“I’m meant to be having a break from the almighty juice. Anyways as you were c’mon you know wash yer hands and scrub yer toes LG x.”

The tweet comes after Prime Minister Boris Johnson said Britain was facing the “worst public health crisis for a generation” and that “many more” people would die.

With the outbreak continuing to worsen, and the death toll raising, Liam informed his followers on Wednesday a number of his upcoming shows have been pulled – much to the dismay of fans.

The rock n’ roll star informed his following he has axed his Abu Dhabi concert, and event organisers behind Snowbombing, a festival he was due to perform at next month, has also been shelved.

The 47-year-old confirmed the news to his 3.1million followers, and said he was “gutted” he wouldn’t be able to perform.

He wrote: “First Abu Dhabi now Snowbombing whatever next gutted to have to cancel these gigs but as you know safety first. Fingers crossed we’ll have a cure for this thing soon and we can get back to the RnR.

“Stay safe stay young wash your hands and scrub yer toes LG x.”

Earlier today, the government explained up to 10,000 may already be infected as UK moves into the “delay” phase.

The UK death toll was at 12 and the official number of infected people reached 590.
