Hollywood star Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson have left the hospital in Australia where they’ve been quarantined for the past week due to contracting coronavirus.
The couple first shared the new they’d tested positive for the disease on Wednesday.
After being released from the Queensland hospital, they’re now continuing to rest up and at a rest home in Oz, according to People.
Tom and Rita are currently in Australia for the filming of the actor’s role in an upcoming Elvis Presley movie.
After feeling under the weather, the couple got medical advice and discovered they had both contracted the virus.
The Toy Story star shared on Wednesday: “We felt a bit tired like we had colds, and some body aches.

“Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too.
“To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive.”
He continued: “Well now. What to do next? The Medical Officials have protocols that must be followed.
“We Hanks will be tested, observed, and isolated for as long as public health and safety require.”

Just as Tom and Rita reveal leave the hospital, actor Idris Elba has announced he’s been tested positive for coronavirus.
Taking to Twitter today, the Luther star said: “This morning I tested positive for COVID-19.
“I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus.
“Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing. No panic.”

Tom and Rita tied the knot in 1988 and have four children together.
He was the first major Hollywood star to publicly state that he has the virus.
The couple’s son Chet Hanks shared a video on social media on Wednesday night saying his parents are doing well despite their diagnosis.
