Rachel Matthews, star of Disney’s Frozen 2, has tested positive for the coronavirus.

The 26-year old actress — who voiced the role of Honeymaren in “Frozen 2″ — shared a series of posts on her Instagram story to tell fans that she has been under quarantine for the past week due to the illness.

She told them: “Hey guys, I tested positive for COVID-19 and have been in quarantine the last week.”

“Unsure of what the next step is (been getting mixed info so will keep you posted) but obviously will remain in quarantine until told to do otherwise.”

The US actress, who also starred in the Hulu series Looking For Alaska, said her symptoms have changed over several days and said the tests are “INSANELY hard to come by”.

She added: “Our country is very behind, and we don’t have much of a system in place.

“I only got tested because I had been around a confirmed case and had been showing symptoms.”

Matthews also reminded her followers to look after themselves amid the outbreak.

She told them: “Rest, drink lots of liquids and SELF QUARANTINE.”

“I will be posting some info that I hope will be helpful to some.

“Please feel free to reach out and ask me any questions.”

Other celebrities to test positive for coronavirus include Forrest Gump star Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson.

Luther actor Idris Elba also told fans yesterday he has been tested positive for COVID-19 also.

The 47-year-old said he felt “okay”, despite the positive result, and said he would keep fans updated.
