Olly Murs was reduced to tears on tonight’s episode of The Voice UK as the singer appeared to remember his dear friend Caroline Flack who tragically died in February.
During a moving performance on tonight’s Knock Outs, Olly, 35, was reduced to tears.
Doug Sure performed a stunning rendition of Jorja Smith’s Don’t Watch Me Cry.
After the emotional performance, Olly thanked the incredible singer, saying through tears: “That was just… I’m speechless.
“I lost a good friend recently…”
Olly then couldn’t continue speaking as his eyes filled with tears. He proceeded to hold his hand to his face, appearing to be overcome with emotion after his close friend Caroline Flack’s devastating death.

Fans flooded Twitter, moved to tears at Olly’s emotional response to the song.
One said: “Tears falling down my face. Feel for Olly Murs. God bless Caroline Flack.”
While another wrote: “Olly Murs crying for Caroline. Omg I’m crying.”
A third added: “Beautiful performance! So sad seeing Olly cry over Caroline.”
“Olly crying over Caroline really got me,” added a fourth.

It’s not the first time Olly has cried over Caroline while doing television, as the singer became emotional during an appearance on Loose Women.
Olly said he wanted to discuss Caroline at the start of an episode of the ITV daytime show.
Anchor Andrea McLean said to Olly: “We wanted to say from us, just how sorry we were to hear about the death of your friend Caroline. How are you?”

His eyes filled with tears as he said: “It’s been tough, it doesn’t make sense to me.
“It was a massive shock.
“I was on holiday at the time so, yeah, the last couple of weeks has just been a bit… yeah.
“Its so hard to even talk about it.”
Caroline Flack tragically died at the age of 40 after taking her own life.
Her family confirmed the news in a statement saying: “We can confirm that our Caroline passed away today on the 15th February.
“We would ask that the press both respect the privacy of the family at this difficult time.”
