Kim Kardashian claims Taylor Swift is lying' over leaked call as she speaks out

Kim Kardashian has broken her silence after Taylor Swift’s infamous phone call with her husband Kanye West reportedly leaked in full online at the weekend.

The Heartless rapper and Bad Blood songstress were caught up in a feud after Kanye and wife Kim after they claimed Taylor agreed to be called a ‘b**ch*’ in his song Famous.

But many are claimed the Kardashian-West’s didn’t tell the whole truth after what is allegedly the full 25-minute conversation between Swift and West leaked on Twitter a few days ago.

Kim has now had her say on the matter though by speaking out on Twitter.

The reality TV and businesswoman wrote: “Taylor Swift has chosen to reignite an old exchange – that at this point in time feels very self-serving given the suffering millions of real victims are facing right now.

“I didn’t feel the need to comment a few days ago, and I’m actually really embarrassed and mortified to be doing it right now, but because she continues to speak on it, I feel I’m left without a choice but to respond because she is actually lying.

“To be clear, the only issue I ever had around the situation was that Taylor lied through her publicist who stated that “Kanye never called to ask for permission…” They clearly spoke so I let you all see that. Nobody ever denied the word “b***” was used without her permission.

Kylie Jenner’s sister added: “At the time when they spoke the song had not been fully written yet, but as everyone can see in the video, she manipulated the truth of their actual conversation in her statement when her team said she “declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message.”

“The lie was never about the word bitch, It was always whether there was a call or not and the tone of the conversation.”

She continued: “I never edited the footage (another lie) – I only posted a few clips on Snapchat to make my point and the full video that recently leaked doesn’t change the narrative.

“To add, Kanye as an artist has every right to document his musical journey and process, just like she recently did through her documentary.

“Kanye has documented the making of all of his albums for his personal archive, however has never released any of it for public consumption & the call between the two of them would have remained private or would have gone in the trash had she not lied & forced me to defend him.”

Kim concluded by saying it was the last time she’d be speaking on the situation as “nobody cares”.

Daily Star Online has contacted a representative of Taylor for comment.

In 2016, Kim shared a clip that showed Swift approving a lyric in which West raps: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex.”

The brunette claimed the clip proved Swift was a “snake” because she said she had not been informed that West would call her a “b***h” in the song.

The incident caused widespread backlash against Taylor at the time and is thought to be partly responsible for her hiatus from the music industry.

However, in previously unseen footage that is being shared on Twitter, West is shown telling Swift about the song, explaining when he wants to release it and his hope that Swift would tweet it.

He tells her: “It has a very controversial line at the beginning of the song about you. I don’t think it’s mean.”

West then delays telling Swift the lyric, saying: “It says, uh… and the funny thing, when I first played it and my wife heard it, she was like, ‘Huh? What, that’s too crazy,’ and then when Ninja from Die Atwoord hear it, he was like, ‘Oh my god, this is the craziest s**t, this is why I love Kanye…’ and now, it’s like my wife’s favourite f***ing line… I just wanted to give you some premise of that.”

He then says the lyric: “To all my Southside n***as that know me best / I feel like Taylor Swift might owe me sex.”

Swift is heard giggling before she says: “That’s not mean.”

“OK, well this is the thing why I’m calling you, because you got an army, you own a country of motherf***ing 2bn people, basically,” West comments.

“If you felt that it’s funny and cool and hip hop, and felt like it’s the College Dropout and Ye that you love, people would be way into it, and that’s why I think it’s super genius to have you be the one that says, ‘Oh I like this song a lot… this is cool.’”

“I need to think about it,” Swift replied. “When you hear something for the first time you need to think about it, because it is absolutely crazy-”

The clip then cuts off. In a separate clip that is being circulated on Twitter, supposedly from the same call, Swift is heard telling West: “I [sold] a full 7m of that album before you did that, which is what happened.”

Her comment is thought to reference Fearless and West’s infamous stage-crash while Swift was being honoured for Video of the Year at the AMAs.

West doesn’t make any mention of the fact that he would call Swift a “bitch” in the song or claim he “made her famous”.
