Countdown legend Carol Vorderman scolded Piers Morgan this morning after he made a cheeky comment about her online adult-only maths classes.
The 59-year-old maths brainbox appeared on Good Morning Britain today to reveal how she is helping people during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Carol announced on the ITV breakfast show that she was going to launch a “maths school for grown ups” on YouTube next week.
Piers, 54, cheekily asked Carol: “Now you’re talking, are you going to wear a mathematical uniform for this?
“One of the ones adults might enjoy, you know Carol?”
Ever the professional, Carol kept composure and quipped: “I’ll tell you what I am not going to do, Piers, which is probably what you would like me to do, it’s teach you how to write ‘boobs’ on a calculator.”
The outspoken presenter contained to be cheeky, replying he will “definitely” tuning into Carol’s online classes.
The former I’m A Celebrity star also chatted about her months tutorial website for children called The Maths Factor, which has lifted its fee while children are off school.
Carol told Piers and co-host Lorraine Kelly: “We have made it free for all children in primary school for as long as it takes, until they can go back to school.
“This isn’t ‘What can you do on a rainy Sunday afternoon?’, this is six months without education.
“With all the books and things I have ever done, this is the thing that I am the most proud of – just doing four sessions with Auntie Carol a week, that takes about 15 minutes, a child will advance two and a half years in one year.”
