Coachella’s micro hot pants trend takes over as celebs strip for barely-there look

Coachella is a festival that is all about the fashion rather than the music. Despite headliners Green Day, Lady Gaga and Post Malone giving sensational performances, the style of celebs and influencers is the real talk of the town. The desert festival, located in Los Angeles, is famous for attracting the rich and famous in their droves as many set to wow with their outfits on their Instagram feeds. And, usually, Coachella fashion acts as a real tell on what the style trends will be in the summer. This year, the gorgeous attendees with thousands or millions of social media followers seem to be loving the micro hot-pant trend. Just 10 years ago, the music festival propelled high-waisted denim shorts into popularity thanks to the likes of past Coachella queen Vanessa Hudgens. Love Islander and presenter Maura Higgins jumped on the trend with a sexy cowgirl twist. She donned a fringed jacket, cowboy hat and some tiny shorts in a custom-made outfit from Oh Polly. And newly popular clothing brand White Fox shipped off a bunch of influencers to the festival to get kitted out in teeny outfits that didn’t leave much to imagination. Here, we take a look at the micro-hot pants trend taking over Coachella – and these lot did it best… More
