    Major EastEnders star to ‘quit’ BBC soap as ‘timing of decision worked for both’

However, he has also been seen steaming things up amid claims he was getting up, close and personal with a MAFS legend recently.But while the Strictly Come Dancing star continues his boom in success, Bobby has decided to say farewell to Walford and leave the BBC show. It comes as he admitted that he has been offered a host of new work opportunities after storming the Strictly dancefloor back in 2023.Playing his role as troubled lad Freddie Slater, Bobby will leave Albert Square in a storyline to be revealed later this year. He is also known for competing in last year’s edition of Strictly Come Dancing, where he appeared to defy a “sex ban” put in place by bosses.However, now the actor has been forced to apologise after it was revealed that while on the set of Strictly Come Dancing, the star had used an ableist slur.
