Glastonbury bosses have been forced to shut down part of the festival as crowds descend on a tent to see a secret set from pop star Lorde, with festivalgoers told ‘Woodies is now full’15:58, 27 Jun 2025Updated 16:00, 27 Jun 2025Glastonbury chiefs have had to close off a section of the festival as hordes of fans flocked to a tent. Revellers rushed to catch pop sensation Lorde’s surprise set, which proved too much for the festival organisers. An insider told the Mirror: “It’s sweltering inside the tent given the amount of people crammed inside. Bosses are urging people to stand up off the floor to make room. Some people are leaving as it’s so intense.”However, as the crowd overflowed from the tent, the source added: “Bosses have now shut down Woodsies as crowds are so big with a festival-wide message saying: ‘Woodies is now full’.”This comes shortly after Glastonbury chiefs revealed the acts they anticipate will attract the largest crowds today. Last year, the festival faced severe overcrowding problems as fans hurried to see their favourite performers.Lorde performed a secret set(Image: More
