Tamara Ecclestone refuses to quit breastfeeding 4-year-old despite online trolls

Tamara Ecclestone has two daughters, 10-year-old Sophia and four-year-old Serena, with her husband Jay Rutland and has been very open about her parenting style despite online trolls16:21, 18 Feb 2025Tamara Ecclestone is still breastfeeding her 4 year old.The socialite is no longer fazed by criticism from online trolls and the model, best known as the daughter of former Formula One CEO Bernie Ecclestone, has two children – Fifi, 10, and Serena, 4 – with her husband Jay Rutland. She recently opened up about turning 40 over the summer and how liberating it has been. Tamara also addressed the backlash she faced after revealing that she was still breastfeeding her 4 year old.”I think as women you get flack for everything, whether it’s that or something else, and to be honest it’s really water off a duck’s back at this point,” she told Closer. Speaking about the freedom she’s found in turning 40 and how it’s shifted her perspective, Tamara said: “I feel turning 40 is a very liberating experience and you don’t really worry about things that you did in your twenties. I would never want to go back in time.”Tamara breastfeeds her four-year-oldThis isn’t the first time Tamara has come under fire for her parenting choices as last spring, she faced backlash from followers after unveiling the exotic pet she had purchased for her daughter. On Sophia’s 10th birthday, Tamara shared a photo of her posing next to a sloth in their family home, reports the Mirror. In the image, Sophia can be seen holding the sloth’s head while it dangles from a branch in their living room, but fans were quick to slam the model for bringing the rainforest dweller into her posh London pad. One fan blasted: “Sloths are solitary creatures who want to be left alone, thus unlike household animals, they do not like to be touched. They don’t like humans either. I love your page but this sucks. These creatures are NOT for your enjoyment.”Ecclestone was slammed for hiring a sloth for her daughter’s birthdayAnother chimed in with disgust: “I’m disgusted by this. I’m unfollowing.” A third was livid, saying: “Unfollowed because this is just wrong on so many levels. Shame on you Tamara.”Another follower scolded: “The world doesn’t revolve around your children. You don’t have to drag wild animals into your house for your children’s amusement. This is just disgusting and stupid.”Wrong move Tamara. It shocks and stuns me that in 2024 people still use animals for things like this,” another added sarcastically.Join the Daily Star’s WhatsApp for the sexiest headlines, showbiz gossip and lots moreThe Daily Star is now on WhatsApp and we want you to join us!Through the app, we’ll send you the sassiest showbiz stories, some naught headline and a seismic smattering of aliens…along with the latest breaking news of course. To join our community, all you have to do to join isclick on this link, select ‘Join Chat’ and you’re in!No one will be able to see who has sign up and no one can send messages except for the Daily Star team.
