The Gavin and Stacey cast have been seen filming the highly anticipated wedding scenes. Matthew Horne, Julia Davis, Joanna Page, Alison Steadman, Melanie Walters, Robert Wilfort and Steffan Rhodri reunited to shoot the final ever episode set to air this Christmas. Loyal fans of the BBC sitcom will remember that the 2019 episode ended on quite the cliffhanger when Nessa got down on one knee for her boyfriend Smithy. And it appears as though fan’s dreams have been answered as the cast dressed up in their finery to film what appears to be Smithy and Nessa’s nuptials 17 years after the first episode hit the airwaves.
