The Biffy Clyro frontman is obsessed with 80s crime series Murder, She Wrote and even owns a figurine of main character Jessica Fletcher, played by Angela Lansbury.Simon admitted: “Believe it or not I ordered a Jessica Fletcher action figure a few weeks ago, and so I am very excited. They are actually re-making Murder, She Wrote… It was the best £45 I ever spent! It’s the gift that keeps on giving.”That’s not his only guilty pleasure either, he confessed: “Eurovision… Well, Frankie, my wife loves Eurovision and we both love Murder, She Wrote and so that’s our crack.Simon has ordered a figurine of Angela Lansbury(Image: CBS via Getty Images)“What more do you need in a modern day love affair?”The band will release their tenth album Futique this September and hit the road next year in support of it.And they say they’ve learnt the hard way to take better care of themselves.Speaking on Radio X, Simon said: “You fall in and out of love with it, it’s about getting the balance. And he reckons – away from their image as feuding brothers – they are actually a real laugh.Mathew is going to appear in a theatre comedy next year called The Battle which is all about the 1990s chart rivalry between Oasis and Blur.The star, who will play Blur’s manager Andy Ross in the show, revealed: “I have met Liam several times and I have met Noel a couple of times.“Now the difficulty for me is that this play is a comedy and I think the writer is brilliant but I don’t think anybody can be as funny as Liam Gallagher because he is so, so funny. Strictly Come Dancing has been hit with several internal crises in the past few years, but now a new scandal has erupted after claims that cocaine was taken on the show15:18, 03 Aug 2025Strictly has been hit by another scandalStrictly Come Dancing has been hit with another major internal crisis over alleged cocaine use.The BBC show has been rocked with several scandals over the past two years, ranging from bullying to abuse claims from former contestants. Several stars of the show have since been given the sack, including the likes of Graziano di Prima and Giovanni Pernice for their roles at the show.Now, Strictly has been hit by another major scandal amid claims that two of the show’s beloved stars were caught taking cocaine. The Sun reported that a legal firm has been hired by the BBC to investigate the allegations.The claims were reportedly made in a formal legal submission to the BBC by a law firm representing opera singer and GoCompare mascot Wynne Evans back in March. A source close to the show admitted that the newest scandal for the once-revered programme is the last thing the BBC needs right now.”These claims are extremely serious and should be taken as such, given only last year that the BBC’s Director-General promised to clean up Strictly, it seems particularly shocking,” the insider explained. “The idea of the show’s stars discussing drug-taking is deeply disturbing, the BBC have known about these allegations for some time, and acknowledged receiving them.”The source added that both people involved in the case were clearly “off their face” on the narcotic substance. I had and still have symptoms that pointed towards a blood clot in the lung.
