  • T.I. Insists He's Not Dissing Drake With Urinating Lines: 'I Ain't Had No Malicious Intent'

    WENN/FayesVision/Euan Cherry

In an interview with Apple Music’s Rap Life Radio, the ‘No Mediocre’ rapper is confused over how people can take his line on ‘We Did It Big’ as a diss directed at the Canadian superstar.

    Oct 24, 2020
AceShowbiz – T.I. recently made headlines when he confirmed the story of his late friend, Terrance Beasley a.k.a. Cap, urinating Drake at a private movie screening via his new album “The L.I.B.R.A”. People were convinced that the “No Mediocre” rapper was dissing the Canadian superstar with the lines, but he has since insisted in an interview that he was not throwing jabs at him.
During an interview with Apple Music’s Rap Life Radio with Ebro Darden, T.I. made it clear he had no malicious intent with the lines, saying that he was mad at Cap when that happened. He said, “I shut all that s**t down. I didn’t wanna be part of something that was a harmless incident. … I didn’t want it to be weaponized against anybody … I was pissed off at my partner when it happened … The wildest s**t I’ve ever seen before in my f**king life. You know what I’m saying?”

“But that s**t, I ain’t had no malicious intent,” the “Ant-Man and the Wasp” star added. “I just don’t see how it could ever be taken as a diss. I don’t see how that could be. That would be someone allowing their emotions to manipulate them, if so.”
T.I. confirmed the long-running rumors on track “We Did It Big” featuring John Legend. “Caught a body, spent millions appealin’ your case,” he raps. “While I’m fightin’ my own, somehow got you home/ So drunk in L.A., end up pissin’ on Drake, s**t/F**k it, that’s still my brother since back in the trap house.”
Drake apparently did not appreciate what his fellow rapper revealed on the song because days after his album hit the store, T.I. is no longer on the “Hotline Bling” hitmaker’s following list on Instagram.

Ty Dolla $ign, who is also involved in the joint project, makes the revelation in his new song ‘Status’ that finds him rapping, ‘He said, ‘Dolla, you too good to put your voice on that generic s**t.’ ‘

    Oct 24, 2020
AceShowbiz – Sorry, Nicki Minaj fans! It looks like her collaboration with Kanye West, “New Body”, will never see the lights of the day. Ty Dolla $ign, who was also involved in the project, claimed in his new song “Status” that the rapper and fashion mogul refused to release the collaborative song since he was not satisfied with the final product.
Released on Friday, October 23, the song found Ty rapping, “I told Ye to drop the OG ‘New Body’ (Body)/ I told Ye to run for president (President)/ He said, ‘Dolla, you too good to put your voice on that generic s**t.’ ”

Nicki fans are understandably disappointed by this, considering that the song is something that they have been expecting for so long. Some even decided to attack Kanye, with one saying, “kanye calling ‘new body’ trash when he hasn’t put out a good song since like 2016 is so funny to me.” Meanwhile, another wrote, “So he wasted Nicki’s time even writing the damn verse just for him to now say it’s ‘generic’ ????? She doesn’t needs to collab with ever again.”
“New Body” was first announced in October 2018, when Kanye revealed in an interview that he had a song about body shaming with Nicki and Ty. The recording of Nicki’s verse was previewed in an episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” before the full version leaked online in July 2019. Kanye additionally previewed the song at multiple listening parties for his album “Jesus Is King”, but the song was eventually scrapped from the effort due to Kanye and Nicki’s creative differences.
Earlier this year, Kanye included “New Body” in his upcoming tenth album “Donda: With Child” though it’s unknown when the “Famous” rapper will unveil the project. Additionally, he appears to have removed Nicki’s verse from the new version.

  • Cliff Williams Warns Fans Against Expecting Him to Join Full AC/DC World Tour

The rock band’s retired bassist insists he only agreed to make a return to honor late bandmate Malcolm Scott after hearing Brian Johnson and Phil Rudd would join Angus Young in the studio.

    Oct 23, 2020
AceShowbiz – AC/DC bassist Cliff Williams has warned fans he won’t be with the band for long, because he isn’t healthy enough for a gruelling world tour.
The rocker retired from the group at the end of AC/DC’s “Rock or Bust” tour, during which singer Brian Johnson quit due to hearing issues and was replaced by Guns N’ Roses star Axl Rose – but both are back for the band’s new album, “Power Up”.
Johnson appears to be back for good, but Williams tells the “Let There Be Talk” podcast he’ll only be around for a few gigs after recording the album with his bandmates.
Insisting he only agreed to return to the group to honour late bandmate Malcolm Scott after hearing Johnson and the band’s former drummer Phil Rudd would also be joining founder Angus Young in the studio, Cliff says, “This is for him. And it’s the band that we played together with for 40-plus years… I wanted to come back and do that.”

“We did some rehearsals earlier this year before this darn COVID thing popped up, and we had great rehearsals. The band was playing really well. So (they asked me), ‘Do you wanna do a few shows? ‘Sure’. A few shows. We were planning on doing that… For my health (I’ll do a few shows). I definitely have some physical issues… it’s tough. I’m very grateful for everything. It’s been fantastic. But I just don’t wanna do that (tour) anymore.”

Williams recently revealed that a bout with vertigo contributed to his decision to leave the band in 2016.
The band’s new album, “Power Up”, drops on 13 November.
