    Instagram

The rapper takes to Instagram Stories to write, ‘I made a way for all yal new lil rappers,’ before adding, ‘Don’t ever get s**t confused and I’ll f**k some s**t up real quick.’
    Oct 7, 2020
AceShowbiz – Even though YFN Lucci has been in the industry for quite a long time and made a name for himself in the process, people still don’t think that he’s popular enough nationwide. So when the rapper claimed on Tuesday, October 6 that he paved the way for new rappers, not a few started ridiculing him.
He made the claim on Instagram Stories. “I made a way for all yal new lil rappers,” the Atlanta rapper wrote on the photo-sharing site. “Don’t ever get s**t confused and I’ll f**k some s**t up real quick.”

His post soon garnered attention as a lot of people mocked him for even thinking that he was popular enough to pave the way for rookies. “I’ve never heard someone say ‘aye play that new lucci’.. just saying,” an online user sarcastically said. “How and you’re barely famous. The delusion at an all time highly today, I’m logging off,” another commented.
Someone else admitted to never hearing anything about Lucci until he dated Reginae Carter, as one other echoed the sentiment, “Really??? Nobody knew him until Reginae and still didn’t know his music but ok.” Some others were confused because they believed Lucci is one of the “new lil rappers,” while another person had this to say, “Who exactly he put on? Just because you messed with resume don’t mean you lil Wayne now.”
“What hit put him on? Cuz I don’t think I ever heard any of his music…I’m being serious no shade,” one person had the same opinion as others. In the meantime, an individual said, “For whom? What did you do? You’ve been known for like 3 years . Y’all want more respect than you’ve earned. Haven’t put in enough work yet.” Meanwhile, another pointed out, “His own career hasn’t even made its way out of Atlanta.”

AceShowbiz – Rihanna has broken her silence after being criticized for using a song that contained sacred Islamic verses at her latest Savage x Fenty fashion show. The singer and businesswoman took to Instagram Stories on Tuesday, October 6 to apologize to her muslim fans over her and her team’s decision to use the song during the show.
Rih began by thanking the Muslim community for pointing out their mistake, which she called a “huge oversight that was unintentionally offensive in our savage x fenty show.” The Grammy winner later added, “I would more importantly like to apologize to you for this honest, yet careless mistake.”

“We understand that we have hurt many of our Muslim brothers and sisters, and I’m incredibly disheartened by this! I do not play with any kind of disrespect toward God or any religion and therefore the use of our project was completely irresponsible!” Rih went on saying, promising that this kind of thing would not happen again in the near future. “Moving forward we will make sure nothing like this ever happens again. Thank you for your forgiveness and understanding.”

Rih previously faced backlash fans noticed that one of the songs played during her fashion show, “Doom”, contained a hadith explaining the end of the times. Those who were not having it were quick to criticize the “Umbrella” singer, with one saying, “The fact that the song is called ‘Doom’ & the hadith is about the end of times? @rihanna, you’re cancelled I don’t care.”
Meanwhile, another person pointed at the fact that Rih used to date Hassan Jameel to attack her, “she dated a saudi guy for years ! the hadith she used is about doomday when the song is called doom … TRY AGAIN. rihanna f**ked up.” One other told Rihanna to use her own songs rather than the controversial track, “hey rih why did u choose doom song for your show???It’s hurt to know that. Your songs are amazing and have nice lyrics. It’s better to play ur own songs than THAT DOOM.”

  • Justin Timberlake Called Out for Saying NSYNC Split Wasn't Big News to the Band

    WENN/FayesVision

Despite that, the Grammy winner still insists that their split wasn’t big news to the band as saying, ‘At that time, I think everybody had aspirations of doing other things and we had talked about it.’
    Oct 6, 2020
AceShowbiz – It’s been years since NSYNC shocked the world with their split announcement. While people all around the world were surprised and disbelief over it, the band didn’t think it was that shocking considering that they had been thinking of going their own way, according to Justin Timberlake.
Justin recently stopped by Zane Lowe’s Apple Music Essentials podcast, on which the latter recalled the hype around the boyband’s split at the time. When the “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” singer tried to downplay how big the news had been, he got called out by Zane, who pointed out that he might think so because he was working on his solo music at the time. “You were too busy hanging out either in Miami or wherever Pharrell was,” he said, mentioning Pharrell Williams.
Despite that, Justin still insisted that his former group mates were thinking the same thing. He told the podcast host, “At that time, I think everybody had aspirations of doing other things and we had talked about it. For me it was always–I mean, when I was 10 years old, my dream was to have my own record.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Justin opened up about how his team was initially against the idea of making “SexyBack” the first single off his album “FutureSex/LoveSounds”. “When I brought the album in, I said, ‘This is the first single,’ ” he recalled. “Everybody told me I was crazy. They’re like, ‘It’s too fast.’ I’m like, ‘OK.’ Like, ‘It doesn’t sound like you.’ I’m like, ‘OK.’ They’re like, ‘It doesn’t have your signature falsetto.’ I’m like, ‘OK.’ And I say, ‘Every reason why you think that that’s why it’s wrong, I think it’s right.’ ”

Justin was right in the end. “SexyBack” became his first No. 1 single on Billboard’s Hot 100, keeping the spot for seven weeks straight. In addition to that, it won Best Dance Recording at the 2007 Grammy Awards.

    Oct 6, 2020
AceShowbiz – Travis Scott (II) continues making achievements throughout his career. The rapper has just made a history on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart after his latest single, “Franchise”, debuted atop the weekly single chart. Released on September 25, the song opens with 19.4 million U.S. streams and 98,000 units sold in its first week, according to Nielsen Music.

  • Leslie Odom Jr. and Sara Bareilles Unveiled to Be Josh Groban's Duet Partners in New Album

Speaking about his latest project ‘Harmony’, the ‘To Where You Are’ hitmaker reveals that it has to be recorded in two parts because the coronavirus pandemic halted the recording process.
    Oct 5, 2020
AceShowbiz – “Hamilton” star Leslie Odom Jr. and Sara Bareilles have joined Josh Groban for duets on his new album, “Harmony”.
The singer announced the release date (November 20) and tracklisting for the project on Friday (October 02), as well as his version of “The Impossible Dream”, which features on the album.

Odom, Jr. joins the “Believe” singer for “Shape of My Heart” and Bareilles duets with Groban on a cover of Joni Mitchell classic “Both Sides Now”, while Grammy-winning gospel star Kirk Franklin also features on new track “The Fullest”.

Josh explains the album became a very special project for him after he was forced to halt recording due to the coronavirus pandemic.
” ‘Harmony’ was recorded in two parts. Before the pandemic we recorded about five songs, with the full intention of making this an album of classics that I love and have always wanted to sing,” he says. “We were recording and finding songs between concerts and fully expected to continue doing that for the next couple of months. Then, sound was replaced with solitude.”
“To have nothing but space, and to be sharing in a collective global tragedy, changed everything… When I was finally able to really sing again, to interpret, to immerse myself in these timeless melodies and stories, it became my saving grace and not just a pleasure. Musicians and producers from all over the country and the world blended together from their respective studios and homes. The title of the album represents the seemingly miraculous full picture of those efforts becoming clear.”
“It is with such immense gratitude that I get to release ‘Harmony’ to you now. I hope that every ounce of the love and healing I experienced recording it finds its way to you too.”
Groban will promote Harmony with a series of virtual concerts, beginning on 3 October. The intimate shows will be filmed in-person and livestreamed directly to audiences globally, and each will take place at 4 P.M. ET. Tickets are available here: JoshGroban.com/Livestream.
