    AceShowbiz – K-pop stars BLACKPINK are “so excited” to have teamed up with Cardi B on their track “Bet You Wanna”.
    Singers Jennie, Jisoo, Rose, and Lisa told CNN that having the opportunity to work with hitmakers including Cardi, Selena Gomez, and Lady Gaga on their debut record, “The Album”, has had a big impact on their music.

    “We grew up listening to a wide variety of music. We all grew up in different areas, but I would say some of the amazing people we collaborated with we all grew up listening to and we are big fans of them,” Rose said, before Jennie added, “(Cardi B) is our first rap feature. We are so excited to share this music with you guys.”
    “The Album”, which also features the track “Ice Cream” – their collaboration with Selena – is out now.
    Just before Cardi B collaboration came out, the Korean all-girl group debuted “Lovesick Girls” music video. It quickly amassed 10 million views in just 53 minutes, breaking their own record. Their previous “Ice Cream” music video reached 10 million views in just 55 minutes.
    “Ice Cream” also became an instant hit on the charts. It debuted at No. 2 on Billboard Digital Songs and at No. 8 on Billboard Streaming Songs. On top of that, it peaked at No. 13 on Hot 100, becoming the group’s highest charting single. It’s also their third consecutive top 40 entry on the chart, making them the first all-female act to do so since Fifth Harmony.

    In a statement issued alongside the release of the song, JoJo expressed how honored she is to be picked by Joe and Kamala to sing their campaign anthem. She said of the song, “[It] is a song about how change begins with us. We live in a time where a change is needed now more than ever. I hope this song inspires us all to realize that each one of us has the power to change the world.” Diane, in the meantime, described the song as “a song about how change begins with us. We live in a time where a change is needed now more than ever.”
    Speaking to Variety, JoJo said she was already attracted to the song the moment Diane sent it to her. “What actually drew me to the song was the fact that there’s nothing political in the lyric,” she told the publication. “The fact that the Biden/Harris campaign is commissioning it for this moment makes a lot of sense, though, because it’s going to take every single individual to decide to act on that change that they want to see in our country.”
    JoJo is slated to perform the song on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on October 22.

    AceShowbiz – Miley Cyrus got herself covered in fake blood while filming a mystery project with Dua Lipa this week (ends04Oct20).
    The “Midnight Sky” star was spotted filming scenes with Dua at the beginning of the week and, returning to set on Thursday evening in Brooklyn, New York, Miley was seen with false blood spattered from the chin down.
    She donned a smouldering ensemble for the shoot, including a tight black corset and cinched over a sleeveless white top, along with fashionably torn-up tights. The 27-year-old completed the look with a stack of bracelets and necklaces, a pair of sky-high black leather stilettos and a top hat with a curved brim.

    While little is known about the project, MailOnline reported a “grunge chic” set had been put up, and a female extra in white cowgirl boots was spotted performing in front of the set-up, which featured graffiti and an eerie portrait of a couple.
    Miley recently shared on the New Zealand podcast, “the Dom, Meg And Randell Catchup”, that Dua and Billy Idol are both featured on her next album, which is expected to be released soon.
    While the new slbum has no title and release date just yet, Miley teased she had a record that sounded like Britney Spears and Nine Inch Nails being put together.
    Meanwhile, Dua said in a different interview, “We aren’t sure if the song is the one we want to release so it’s in waiting, and maybe we’ll do something different.” She added, “There is a song but we don’t know if it’s the song.”

    While he is not sure when the music from his side project will come out, the Hanson drummer is back at work with his brothers, Isaac and Taylor, to prepare their three-night mini monthly residencies.

    AceShowbiz – Pop star Zac Hanson has co-founded a new band as a side project during the coronavirus shutdown.
    The Hanson drummer put his downtime over the spring and early summer to good use to make one of his long-running dreams with his pals come to fruition.
    “I have several friends (with whom I’ve) been talking about starting a band for years. And this made some time to actually do that, and it’s been awesome,” he tells People.com.
    However, Zac has no idea what they will do with the new material, if anything.

    “I don’t know when or where the music will ever come out, but the joy of realizing that project and laughing together and making music together has been really awesome,” he smiles.
    In the meantime, Zac and his Hanson bandmates and brothers, Isaac Hanson and Taylor Hanson, are back at work, preparing for the first of their three-night mini monthly residencies at Cain’s Ballroom in their native Tulsa, Oklahoma.
    The shows, which kick off on 9 October, will be streamed live online, while a number of in-person tickets have also been made available for each gig, and it’s all designed to help the family-run venue keep its doors open as the COVID-19 pandemic rumbles on.
    “It’s about 10 percent of what would normally be in the room, so it’s a very small number,” Zac explains of the in-person audience capacity. “But it allows us to go, ‘We’re going to invite hardcore fans, the Hanson.net fan-club members, into the room, and then we’re going to broadcast to the world and give people something to look forward to if you’re a Hanson fan.’ ”
    However, Hanson is hopeful the live music industry will be up and running again next year, so they can move forward with plans for a world tour in support of their upcoming 12th studio album, “Against the World”, in 2021.

    Ever since it was released on Thursday midnight, October 1, the music video for “Lovesick Girls” garnered 10 million views in just 53 minutes. The previous record was held by the four-piece group’s “Ice Cream” music video with Selena Gomez that reached 10 million views in just 55 minutes.

    AceShowbiz – Megan Thee Stallion has returned with a new song. Following days of teasing fans, the rap star finally released a song titled “Don’t Stop” featuring Young Thug along with its music video accompaniment on Thursday midnight, October 1.
    In the visuals, which was helmed by “WAP” music video director Collin Tille, Megan takes the viewers into her own version of “Alice in the Wonderland”. She cosplays several characters from the classic story, including Alice, the Queen of Hearts as well as the Cheshire Cat, but she puts her own sexy spin in each of the costumes.
    At one point during the three-minute music video, Megan can be seen twerking on the floor in a light blue bodysuit that resembles Alice’s clothes. What makes this scene interesting is the fact that the CGI cat is slapping the “Savage” hitmaker’s booty as she continues to twerk and rap, “Don’t stop, pop that cat/ Mm, mm, just like that/ Mm, mm, shake that s**t/ Mm, mm, work it, b***h.”

    The music video arrives ahead of her debut on “Saturday Night Live”. She has been taped as the musical guest on the show’s season premier with Chris Rock serving as the host. In the promotional video, Megan and Chris both sported facial masks with the former asking the actor, “Chris, can you read my lips?” In response, he said, “Yes I can, but we can’t say that on TV,” prompting the female emcee to laugh.

    In another scene, Chris once again introduced Megan by saying, “Show’s gonna be great, we’re not even worried, right, Megan?” The 25-year-old made her appearance again, but this time around, she sported a medical suit to make sure she’s safe amid the coronavirus pandemic.
    “Saturday Night Live” is set to return on October 3.

    “It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way,” Eilish explains. “To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honour.”
    Her brother adds, “Writing the theme song for a Bond film is something we’ve been dreaming about doing our entire lives. There is no more iconic pairing of music and cinema than the likes of Goldfinger and Live and Let Die. We feel so so lucky to play a small role in such a legendary franchise, long live 007.”
    The new Bond movie will hit theatres from 12 November (20) and Eilish will be joining Craig for a ‘James Bond Day’ special on America’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday (05Oct20).
    Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga (“Beasts of No Nation”), the new movie is supported by the likes of Lea Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Christoph Waltz, Rory Kinnear, and Ralph Fiennes.
    Billie Eilish was the youngest artist to record a 007 soundtrack. The song became the first James Bond theme by a female artist to top the UK chart.
