  • Cardi B: Original 'WAP' With Megan Thee Stallion Is Too Nasty for Radio

    YouTube

The ‘Bodak Yellow’ hitmaker reveals she had to clean up her new collaboration with the ‘Hot Girl Summer’ star before sending it to radio because it’s too filthy.
    Aug 8, 2020
AceShowbiz – Cardi B teamed up with Megan Thee Stallion on her new track “WAP” as she’s the nastiest rapper she knows – but they had to clean up the song’s explicit meanings.
The New York rapper told Boston, Massachusetts station Hot95.9 what the song’s title stands for during an interview – revealing “WAP” is a shortening of “Wet A** P**sy.”
Explaining why she asked Megan to appear, Cardi added, “The song is really nasty. The song always been nasty. My verses and the hook has been the same since before Megan was there. So it just always been a nasty song and it’s like, ‘Who’s saying more nastier things than Megan?’ ”
Revealing how difficult it was to make the song acceptable for radio, she adds, “It was really hard for me to clean this song up.”
“WAP” is the lead single from the “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker’s long-awaited second album, the follow-up to her 2018 debut “Invasion of Privacy”.
The video is equally raunchy and sees Cardi and Megan exploring a mansion that features butt sculptures, breast fountains, tigers and leopards. Kylie Jenner makes an appearance, strutting around the house in a plunging leopard-print bodysuit and matching cape, with former Fifth Harmony star Normani also showing off her impressive dance moves in another room.

    Aug 7, 2020

AceShowbiz – The rumors are apparently true! Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion have just released their highly-anticipated collaboration “WAP” along with its accompanying music video that features cameo appearances from several well-known public figures, including Kylie Jenner.
Directed by Colin Tilley, the visuals opens with the female emcees roaming around a mansion filled with booty and boobs gold statues. Cardi and Megan opt for several matching outfits throughout the music video, including pink and yellow dresses as well as barely-there lingeries, as they spit the NSFW bars.
In her verse, the “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker raps, “Beat it up, n***a, catch a charge/ Extra large and extra hard/ Put this p***y right in your face/ Swipe your nose like a credit card.” Meanwhile, the Hot Girl Summer rhymes, “Gobble me, swallow me, drip down the side of me/ Quick jump out, before you let you get inside of me.”

“WAP” serves as the first single off Cardi’s upcoming sophomore album, which still doesn’t have a title or a release date.

  • Rick Ross Calls Terry Crews 'Paid C**n' on New Song 'Pinned to the Cross'

    Instagram

Revealed in the latest episode of ‘Versuz’ with 2 Chainz, the song finds the 44-year-old rapper spitting his bars, ‘Terry Crews is another c**n who was basically bought.’
    Aug 7, 2020
AceShowbiz – Rick Ross has turned Terry Crews’ latest controversial comment into lyrics to diss the actor and comedian. In the latest episode of “Versuz” with 2 Chainz, the 44-year-old rapper unveiled a new song entitled “Pinned to the Cross” in which he took a jab at Terry.
Rick disses Terry right from the beginning, saying, “F**k Terry Crews,” at the opening of the song. However, the line that draws everyone wild comes at the later part of the song, on which the hip-hop star can be heard spitting his bars, “Terry Crews is another c**n who was basically bought,” before laughing.
The line is a clear reference to the “America’s Got Talent” host’s headline-making comment last month. He took to his Twitter account to make an acronym out of the offensive slur as he said, “Conquer Our Own Negativity.” People were baffled by his comment and were quick to call him out, with one saying, “You really tried to make ‘C**n’ into something it ain’t.”
Despite the criticism, Terry did not think he did something wrong. In response to a follower who reminded him that the word is “an outdated Term used to tear each other down,” the “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” star replied, “I agree. That word is horrible. But I’ve learned to catch lemons thrown at you, Make lemonade. Then make lemon bars. Make a lemon scented hand sanitizer, sell the rinds in the spice aisle for BBQ lemon pepper wings then take the seeds and grow more lemon trees.”
Not stopping there, he later made fun of his critics by posting a GIF of him barging into someone’s home with a speed motor boat. He wrote in the caption of the post, “Twitter: Terry Crews needs to shut the f—. ME,” telling his haters that he was unbothered by all the criticism coming his way.

  • Selena Gomez Confesses to Always Dreaming of a Collaboration With Taylor Swift

    WENN

Months before the revelation, the ‘Lose You to Love Me’ hitmaker revealed that the ‘Cardigan’ singer has ‘proven year after year and in every moment of my life that she is one of my best friends.’
    Aug 6, 2020
AceShowbiz – Selena Gomez has “always dreamed” of teaming up with her pal Taylor Swift on a collaboration.
The 28-year-old singer has been friends with “Cardigan” hitmaker Taylor for many years, and as she made a surprise appearance on Twitch’s Animal Talking stream on Wednesday night (August 05), she admitted she wants to partner with the singer on a new track.
“I’ve always dreamt of doing a song with Taylor,” she said. “We both wanted to do that. It just feels like we’re family…she’s been my best friend. But we’ve talked about it for sure.”

Selena’s comments come after she previously opened up to WSJ magazine earlier this year about the strength of her bond with 30-year-old Taylor.
“There’s so much of my friendship with Taylor that people don’t know about because we don’t necessarily feel the need to post about everything we do,” she said. “She has showed up for me in ways that I would have never expected. Flown in because I was hurt and was going through something. Stuff that was going on with my family. It’s been proven year after year and in every moment of my life that she is one of my best friends in the world. We don’t agree on everything, but we respect each other with everything.”

  • George Lynch Vows to No Longer Tour and Record Using 'Problematic' Lynch Mob Moniker

The former Dokken guitarist insists it is ‘inexcusable’ for him to keep using the band’s name in the wake of the Black Lives Matter protests and ongoing racial sensitivities.
    Aug 6, 2020
AceShowbiz – Rocker George Lynch is retiring his Lynch Mob group due to the band name’s racial overtones.
The former Dokken guitarist insists it’s “inexcusable” to keep touring and recording under the moniker following the Black Lives Matter protests and ongoing racial sensitivities.
“The name itself, of course, has always been problematic,” Lynch tells Audio Ink. “And now it’s inexcusable to keep the name.”
“With everything going on right now in the world, it was really sort of an epiphany moment. I just kind of woke up and said, ‘I think with this record, this is our swan song’. I think this would be a good place to exit the stage….”
“I’m not going to tour anymore with that name or put out any more records with that name. I’ll probably still play with some of the same people. We’ll just call it something else.”

Lynch formed the band in 1989 and Lynch Mob has released a total of eight studio albums.
The band’s final project, a reworking of 1990’s “Wicked Sensation”, will be released on August 28.
Lynch mob is often associated with the premeditated executions, by hanging, of African-Americans by white supremacists in the U.S. southern states.
Lady Antebellum and the Dixie Chicks have also recently changed their names due to offensive associations. The words ‘Antebellum’ and ‘Dixie’ are linked to America’s slavery states.
