    AceShowbiz – Taylor Swift has revealed the name of pal Blake Lively’s third daughter in a song from her new surprise album, “Folklore”.
    The singer released her eighth studio project with little fanfare on Friday morning (24Jul20) and fans were immediately drawn to one song, “Betty”, in which the Lover star namechecks Blake and her husband’s daughters Inez and James.
    Taylor sings, “Betty, I know where it all went wrong… You heard the rumours from Inez/You can’t believe a word she says… She said, ‘James, get in, let’s drive.’ ”

    The references led fans to believe she was inspired to write the new song by her pal’s third child and now People bosses have confirmed Lively’s third child, who was born last year, is indeed named Betty.
    Blake and Ryan had never revealed the name.

    AceShowbiz – Maroon 5’s music video for their new single “Nobody’s Love” ends with a message about ending the “war on marijuana.”
    The band dropped their new video on Thursday (23Jul20), which features frontman Adam Levine rolling and smoking a joint.
    At the end of the video, a message from the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) is shown, which reads, “It’s time to end the War on Marijuana. The aggressive enforcement of marijuana possession laws needlessly ensnares hundreds of thousands of people into the criminal justice system and wastes billions of taxpayers’ dollars.”
    “What’s more, it is carried out with staggering racial bias. Despite being a priority for police departments nationwide, the War on Marijuana has failed to reduce marijuana use and availability and diverted resources that could be better invested in our communities.”

    In a statement, Maroon 5 and Interscope Records said they would be making a donation to Southern California’s ACLU branch.
    The video for “Nobody’s Love” was helmed by “Wedding Crashers” director David Dobkin, who has frequently collaborated with Maroon 5 over the years. It was shot on an Apple iPhone, and features Levine as the sole member of the group shown in the video.

    AceShowbiz – Kanye West has seemingly delayed the release of his new album “Donda: With Child” amid his mental health struggles.
    The rapper has been hitting headlines in recent days due to his worrying behaviour, which has included saying at a presidential campaign rally that he and wife Kim Kardashian nearly aborted their daughter North, and tweeting that he’s been “trying to divorce” the reality star since 2018.
    Kim released a statement on Wednesday (22Jul20) saying that Kanye needed to be given time and compassion as he continues struggling against bipolar disorder, and now it seems Kanye has decided to postpone the release of his new record.
    Despite saying that the album was due to be released at midnight on Thursday, the deadline passed without any sign of the offering on streaming services.
    Kanye has yet to address the apparent delay on his Twitter page.
    It wouldn’t be the first time the father-of-four has postponed an album release. In November 2018, Kanye was due to release his album “Jesus Is King”, but the record didn’t materialise until October 2019.
    Meanwhile, it has been claimed that while Kim wants to help her other half, he’s threatening to “live stream” any intervention she stages to “show the world the truth.”
    “Kanye is very unwell and everyone’s very worried for him,” an insider told Britain’s The Sun newspaper. “He’s acting extremely paranoid and seems convinced Kim and Kris Jenner are ‘out to get him.’ ”
    “He’s told her that if the Kardashian family try and stage an intervention he’ll live stream it on Twitter and ‘show the world the truth.’ He’s warned Kim that he knows the family ‘secrets’ and will put them all out there. There’s a lot that isn’t on the reality show (Keeping Up with the Kardashians) – feuds, secret celebrity hook ups, surgery, financial deals and rows within the family.”
    “But Kim’s only concern at this stage is getting Kanye help and protecting their children. She’s very worried.”

    Taylor Swift Takes on Alternative Genre for First Time Through 'Folklore'

    Having surprised her fans with the new album, the ‘You Need to Calm Down’ hitmaker releases a music video for ‘Cardigan’, her first single off her latest record.

    AceShowbiz – Taylor Swift’s new album “Folklore” is the first of her records to fall into the “alternative” music genre.
    The 30-year-old singer dropped the record at midnight EST on (July 23), after surprising fans with news of an impending release.
    Despite the fact that Taylor is most well known as a pop star, the new album is actually categorised as alternative on iTunes. Four of her previous records were classed as country albums, while she’s also dropped three pop albums.
    In addition, Taylor will be submitting the record for the Best Alternative Music Album gong at the 2021 Grammy Awards, according to reports.
    It’s the only award she will be eligible for in the alternative genre, as while the pop genre has awards for Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album, the alternative only has the album prize.
    Fans have initially responded positively to the new record, which has a running time of an hour and three minutes and features 16 songs – five of which have explicit language warnings on them.
    Taylor’s followers have also started speculating about the identity of the mysterious co-writer she thanked when detailing her collaborators on “Folklore”. While she tagged almost all the writers she mentioned, she didn’t tag William Bowery – with fans immediately speculating the name is a pseudonym.
    After discovering there are no registered songwriters or producers named William Bowery, speculation began building that Bowery is another name for Taylor’s longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn.
    According to fans, Swift and Alwyn were spotted outside New York’s Bowery Hotel back in 2016 at the start of their romance. In addition, Joe is the great-grandson of composer and musician William Alwyn – which fans believe is how the name William Bowery came about. Taylor has yet to comment on the speculation.
    As well as dropping the album at midnight, Taylor also released the music video for her first single from the new record – titled “Cardigan”.
    The video was written and directed by the singer herself, who also did her own hair and make-up on a socially distanced set overseen by a medical inspector as she ensured her crew stayed safe during the coronavirus pandemic.

    AceShowbiz – Taylor Swift’s new album “Folklore” is here for fans’ listening pleasure along with a brand new music video. Released on Friday, July 24 at the stroke of midnight, the video is accompanying visuals to track No. 2 “Cardigan”.
    The clip opens with the country-turned-pop superstar playing a piano in a rustic cabin before she climbs into the piano and emerges in a fantastical world of waterfalls and luscious green trees. After playing a piano for a while there, she again is transported into a different setting.
    This time she finds herself being stranded in the middle of an ocean, hanging onto a floating piano for dear life. Finding a way out of this situation with the magical teleportation device, she once again climbs into the piano before returning to the rustic cabin where it all begins.
    Swift wrote and directed the music video, with the help of “badass video team – cinematographer Rodrigo Prieto, producer Jil Hardin, executive producer Rebecca Skinner, AD Joe ‘Oz’ Osbourne, editor Chancler Haynes, special effects wizards David Lebensfeld & Grant Miller, and set designer Ethan Tobman,” she wrote on Instagram to express her gratitude.
    Making sure that their health was a top priority during the shooting, she informed her fans, “The entire shoot was overseen by a medical inspector, everyone wore masks, stayed away from each other, and I even did my own hair, makeup, and styling.”

    Swift announced the surprise new album “Folklore” on Thursday morning. “[It’s] an entire brand new album of songs I’ve poured all of my whims, dreams, fears, and musings into,” she teased. “Before this year I probably would’ve overthought when to release this music at the ‘perfect’ time, but the times we’re living in keep reminding me that nothing is guaranteed.”
    Shortly before the album dropped, the 30-year-old Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter answered questions from fans, during which she explained the meaning of “Cardigan”. “The song is about lost romance and why young love is often fixed to permanently within our memories. Why it leaves such an indelible mark,” she explained.
    Swift has also released official lyric videos for tracks off the new album, including “Invisible String”, “August”, “The Last Great American Dynasty” and more on her YouTube VEVO channel.

    But the show will go on, beginning on June 2, 2021 in San Diego, California.
    “I can’t wait to get out there and connect with my fans on this tour,” Bieber said in a statement. “We’ve been through so much this year. More than ever, we’ve come to understand how much we need each other, and how meaningful these moments can really be.”

    Tickets for the 45-date North American tour, which includes stops at New York’s Madison Square Gardens and the Staples Center in Los Angeles, will go on sale on 6 August.

    AceShowbiz – 42 Dugg’s rumored sexual preference may have cost him a home for his music. Words are the rapper, whose real name is Dion Marquise Hayes, has been dropped by his label after he appeared to suggest that he was forced to suck d**k for a living.
    The Detroit-born star, who first gained traction for his tracks “The Streets” and “STFU”, was jointly signed to Lil Baby’s 4PF and Yo Gotti’s CMG after he met Lil Baby in 2017. He was said to be one of the hottest artists under Lil Baby’s 4PF label, but as soon as the “We Paid” hitmaker sparked frenzy with his “sucking d**k” lyrics, he reportedly has been dropped from the label.
    Lil Baby reportedly has been distancing from Dugg as well. When asked what he thought about his former friend seemingly admitting to be a gay prostitute, the “Drip Too Hard” emcee allegedly replied, “He’s not 4PF.”
    Dugg and Lil Baby previously also collaborated on “Grace” and “We Paid”. The latter became Dugg’s first top ten single in the Billboard Hot 100 chart. His latest mixtape “Young & Turnt, Vol. 2” was released on March 27 of this year under CMG and 4PF. It peaked at No. 58 on the Billboard Hot 200, No. 33 at the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and No. 6 on the Independent Albums chart, marking his highest-charting album to date.
    Dugg sparked the speculation about his sexuality after he shared a snippet of his new song on Instagram Live on Tuesday, July 21. In the video, he bopped his head up and down as he listened to the song in his car, while he was heard rapping in the song played in the background, “I was out here suckin’ d**k/ I was tryna pay the rent.”
    His name soon became trending on social media, with many speculating that he’s gay after listening to the song. LMAOOOO N***A SAID HE WAS OUT THERE SUCKING D**K TO PAY THE RENT,” one reacted. “42 dugg gay omfg.” Another wondered, “so 42 dugg is gay? or he like some of yall who be sucking d**k sometimes but got a girl?”
    Dugg, however, has debunked the claim and insisted that people heard his verse wrong. “H**S OUT HERE SUCKIN D**K… I WAS TRYNA PAY HER RENT,” he clarified the lyrics on his Twitter account. But people were not convinced and accused him of lying.

    AceShowbiz – The former members of boy band One Direction have marked the 10th anniversary of their formation on talent show “The X Factor” by thanking each other and fans for the ride so far.
    During the bootcamp rounds of the U.K. series, on 23 July, 2010, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik were put together as a group, and went on to reach the finale of the contest.
    They became international superstars and remained a five-piece until 2016 when Malik quit to go solo. The remaining bandmates then announced a hiatus, which has been in place since the beginning of 2017 – with no signs of ending.
    Despite fans’ hopes of a 10th anniversary reunion, Niall, Harry, Liam, and Louis remain committed to solo careers, but they took time out on Thursday (23Jul20) to jump on social media and acknowledge their anniversary.
    Posting a shot of himself and his four bandmates on Twitter, Style wrote, “I’ve been struggling to put into words how grateful I am for everything that’s happened over the last ten years. I’ve seen things and places that I’d only ever dreamt of when I was growing up.”
    “I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and working with some of the most incredible people, and gained friendships that I know I will treasure for the rest of my life. None of this would be possible without the support you’ve given along the way. And for that, I will be forever thankful. I just can’t believe it’s been ten years. Thank you to our crew, our team, and everyone else who helped us along the way. To all the fans, I love you, and I thank you with all my heart. You did it all, and you changed everything.”
    “And finally… to the boys,” he added. “I love you so much, and I couldn’t be prouder of everything we achieved together. Here’s to ten.”
    Horan added, “When I met these four gents there was no way I thought we would go on to do what we did. So many unbelievable memories we shared together. We felt the adoration of millions from around the planet on a daily basis and it was mind blowing.”
    “It’s such a major part of our lives and always will be. Cheers to US today boys and thank you to all you beautiful people who have supported us over the last 10 years.”
    Tomlinson also jumped on Twitter to mark the occasion, writing, “Too many incredible memories to mention but not a day goes by that I don’t think about how amazing it was. @NiallOfficial @Harry_Styles @LiamPayne @zaynmalik. So proud of you all individually.”
    And Liam Payne added a screenshot of a text he sent his father on the day One Direction formed, which featured the first photo of the group and read “Im in a band (sic).”
    He wrote, “What a journey… I had no idea what we were in for when I sent this text to my Dad ten years ago at this exact time the band was formed. Thanks to everyone that’s supported us over the years and thanks to the boys for sharing this with me #10YearsOfOneDirection.”
    One Direction have also released a special five-minute video documenting their time together, featuring behind-the-scenes footage from their music promos and tours.
