    Nov 18, 2020
AceShowbiz – Iggy Azalea has shut down speculation she’s quitting music to start a new career as a YouTuber.
The “Sally Walker” rapper, 30, has faced questions from longtime fans over whether or not she plans to venture into content creation full-time after sharing a number of clips on her channel not related to music.
“Are you going to become a YouTuber or did you give up on that idea?” a fan asked on Twitter, prompting “Fancy” star Iggy to quickly set the record straight.

“I don’t wanna ‘become a YouTuber’ I just think it could be fun to post videos from time to time that are not music related,” she responded. “Def gonna do it! But probably in 2021 since this year is cursed.”
The hitmaker has collaborated with some of the biggest stars on YouTube over the past year, including make-up mogul James Charles and “RuPaul’s Drag Race” star Trixie Mattel. She’s also built a following of more than 2.4 million fans on TikTok.
It’s been a busy year for the star who welcomed son Onyx with her ex, Playboi Carti, and has also been working on the follow-up to her 2019 LP, “In My Defense”.
“Not gonna lie, sometimes I feel demotivated as hell,” the femcee recently admitted to struggling to find inspiration during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. “I’m not saying that stops me from doing anything. I’m just saying I’m a lazy b**ch.”

Florida Georgia Line Excited to Get Back on Tour After Signing Long-Term Deal With Live Nation

    WENN/Judy Eddy

Amid false rumors of split, Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley issue a statement that the two of them miss the live energy and connection they have with fans when they hit the stage.

    Nov 17, 2020
AceShowbiz – Florida Georgia Line have signed a long-term touring deal with bosses at Live Nation.
The ticket vender and venue operator will be the duo’s exclusive promoter in the U.S. as part of a multi-year deal, which drops amid false rumours of a band split.
“This past year has given us a chance to spend more time writing, producing, and being creative, but we are itching to get back on the road,” said members Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley in a statement. “We miss our fans, and the live energy and connection we have with them when we hit the stage.”
“Our Live Nation family has been a great partner in the past, and we’re excited to be teaming up like this together. Getting back on tour and being able to share our new music can’t come soon enough!”

      See also…

The news comes after Hubbard was forced to pull out of a planned performance at the Country Music Association Awards earlier this month after he tested positive for the coronavirus. “Got the Rona (sic),” he wrote beside a selfie at the time. “Asymptomatic. Quarantining on bus. Miss my family. Writing songs. Thankful.”
That then led to stories suggesting the bandmates had fallen out over their opposing political beliefs, after Tyler unfollowed his bandmate Brian on Instagram. “Does that mean FGL will be no more?” one Twitter user wondered, while another called the unfollowing “really weird” considering the duo just released their holiday tune, “Lit This Year”, just one week prior.
The pair notably had conflicting views during the U.S. election, with Tyler speaking out against President Donald Trump and Brian slamming Joe Biden supporters for their post-election celebrations, following his victory.

Wayne Coyne Pleads With Fans Against 'Scalper Tickets' Purchase Over Space Bubble Concerts

    WENN/Alberto Reyes

Since tickets for the World’s First Space Bubble Concert quickly sold out, and The Flaming Lips frontman assures their devotees that the band works to add more dates.

    Nov 17, 2020
AceShowbiz – The Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne has urged fans not to purchase “scalper tickets” to what they’ve dubbed the “World’s First Space Bubble Concert” as the band works to add more dates.
The musicians have been trialling the idea of using giant, inflatable hamster balls for both themselves and audience members for a few months, to allow the group to get back onstage – and for fans to enjoy live music again in a safe and secure environment.
The Flaming Lips set their first ticketed show for 11 December at The Criterion venue in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where 100 giant balls will be placed across the floor of the event space, with each able to accommodate between one to three people.
Tickets for the World’s First Space Bubble Concert went on sale on Friday, November 13, and quickly sold out, prompting Coyne to issue a plea to those not lucky enough to snag entry for the gig.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, he wrote, “Please Please Please DO NOT buy any of the scalper tickets!! More shows WILL be added…”

The singer announced a second date, for 10 December, would soon be added to the schedule, and revealed the bandmembers are also making plans for another pair of concerts for January.
“looking to January 15th and 16th of 2021 for more Space Bubble shows here at Criterion (sic),” he shared.

The Flaming Lips first came up with the bubble idea back in June, when they performed on America’s “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” with the group and a few fans all encased in plastic bubbles.
“It holds a lot of air,” Coyne told BrooklynVegan of the custom-made structures. “I mean, you can be in there for quite a while. I just don’t think people quite realise what it is as a mechanism. But we’ve just messed with them for so long, we kind of know that it can all work and how it can work and all that.”

Taylor Swift Rips Scooter Braun for His Fishy Offer After Selling Her Masters

    WENN/Avalon/Adriana M. Barraza

The ‘Lovers’ songstress claims the SB Projects founder asked her to sign ‘an ironclad NDA’ before she was even allowed to look at the financial records of BMLG.

    Nov 17, 2020
AceShowbiz – Scooter Braun has reignited a feud with Taylor Swift after his company Ithaca Holdings LLC sold her masters to a private equity firm called Shamrock Holdings for over $300 million. The deal, which closed a couple of weeks ago, includes Big Machine’s client roster namely Sheryl Crow, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, Rascal Flatts and Lady A (previously known as Lady Antebellum).
After Variety broke report of the deal, the country-turned-pop superstar took to Twitter to respond to the second sale of master rights to her first 6 albums in less than two years. In a statement posted on Monday, November 16, the Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter called out Braun for his alleged fishy attempt to sell her masters back to her.
Swift, who was trying to acquire her masters back for years, revealed that Braun tried to make her sign “an ironclad NDA” before she was even allowed to look at the financial records of BMLG. “I would have to sign a document that would silence me forever before I could even have a chance to bid on my own work,” she wrote.
“My legal team said that this is absolutely NOT normal, and they’ve never seen an NDA like this presented unless it was to silence an assault accuser by paying them off. He would never even quote my team a price,” the “Cardigan” singer said, before concluding, “These master recordings were not for sale to me.”
Swift was contacted by Shamrock Holdings after they acquired rights to her masters. Though she appreciated the company’s kind intention and was “open to the possibility of a partnership with Shamrock,” she didn’t pursue a deal further after learning that Braun and Ithaca Holdings will continue to reap profits off of her work for many years.

In her statement, Swift also revealed that she has “recently begun re-recording my older music and it has already proven to be both exciting and creatively fulfilling.” She teased, “I have plenty of surprises in store.”

Taylor Swift responded after Scooter Braun sold her master recordings.
Swift additionally posted a screenshot of a letter she sent to Shamrock “for transparency and clarification,” while thanking her fans for supporting her “through this ongoing saga.”

The pop star shared a screenshot of her letter to Shamrock Holdings.
Swift has received support, including from fellow artist Sara Bareilles, after Braun sold her master recordings to Shamrock. The “King of Anything” singer tweeted in response to Variety’s report, “I will never not feel like this is just f**king robbery. Greed is a virus too and it’s everywhere. F**k that. @taylorswift13 sending you love.”

Tiny 'Glad' That Notorious B.I.G. Apologized Over Xscape Diss Minutes Before His Murder

    Instagram

Although the wife of T.I. claims that she didn’t exactly remember the details, she reveals in a new interview that her RnB group initially didn’t want ‘to deal with him.’

    Nov 17, 2020
AceShowbiz – Tiny (Tameka Cottle) recalled her having a deep talk with Notorious B.I.G. during her sit-down interview for VLAD TV. In a new video, the singer discussed her early career with Xscape and when the legendary rapper made dissing remarks about the group.
“There was that song, ‘Dreams’, where he dissed you guys,” Vlad asked the wife of T.I., referring to the song by the late rapper off his 1994 debut album “Ready to Die”. “In 1997, there was this huge vibe party in L.A. and Biggie is there and from what I understand he tried to approach you guys to apologize.”
Tiny confirmed the story, saying, “So he did.” She went on explaining, “There was a couple times after the ‘Dream’ song that we had a couple shows and he would be, you know, Jermaine [Dupri] would be like, ‘Yo, Biggie wants to see y’all. He wants to talk to y’all.’ And some of the girls were like, ‘No!’ ”
Although Tiny claimed that she didn’t exactly remember the details, she remembered that the group didn’t want “to deal with him.” Back to the Vibe party, Tiny revealed that fellow member Kandi Burruss was so against of the idea of talking to Biggie after the mockery, prompting Tiny to step in and decide to go to Biggie by herself.

Tiny revealed that she and the group then left and they shared a hug with the rapper. “It was all good and then, you know..,” she explained, referring to Biggie getting shot less than an hour after their encounter. Tiny claimed that upon knowing his murder, Kandi told her that she regretted for not talking to him before his death.
When asked about her feeling for spending some time with Biggie minutes before the fateful night, Tiny responded, “It was crazy. I just felt like I was just glad that I got a chance to, like, even say anything, and speak. And he got a chance to tell me how he felt, he apologized and it went all good.”

On “Dreams”, Biggie, who was shot four times in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles on March 9, 1997, dragged the ’90s R&B group that consists of Tiny, Kandi, LaTocha Scott, Tamera Coggins-Wynn and Tamika Scott. “I’ll f**k RuPaul before I f**k them ugly a** Xscape b***es/ You can 76 the 69 try 68/ Did Raven Simone call date rape?/ Only ’cause I’m paid,” he rapped.

    Nov 16, 2020
AceShowbiz – Queen Naija is re-introducing herself with her debut studio album “Misunderstood”. Driven by her frustrations as her comments were often twisted and taken out of context to stir up drama on the internet, she recorded 18 songs to show her real self as an artist and make a mark in the industry.
The album came two years after her self-titled EP which featured Platinum-certified singles like “Karma” and “Butterflies”. She was only an unsigned artist back then but she’d already climbed up to No. 45 on Billboard Hot 100 with her song “Medicine”, thanks to her huge fans base on YouTube, relatable lyrics, and mesmerizing vocal.
Naija shone brighter with “Misunderstood” as it bowed at No. 9 on Billboard Hot 200 with 34,000 equivalent album units earned. It also propelled the 25-year-old singer/songwriter, who rose to fame as a contestant on the thirteenth season of “American Idol”, to the top position on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums.

And also, it’s just I’ve grown. My sound has grown.”
