    AceShowbiz – Elijah Wood has urged Amazon bosses to find another title for their upcoming “Lord of the Rings” series so as not to confuse fans.
    The actor, who starred as Frodo Baggins in Peter Jackson’s epic the “Lord of the Rings” film trilogy, insists the new project has very little to do with J.R.R. Tolkien’s classic fantasy series.
    The new series is set in the Second Age of Middle-earth before the events of the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy.
    “I find it very bizarre that they’re calling it ‘Lord of the Rings’ as a shorthand, because it’s not Lord of the Rings!” he tells Empire. “It takes place in the Second Age of Middle-earth.”

    He goes on explaining, “I am super fascinated by what they’re doing with the show. They’re calling it ‘The Lord of the Rings’, but I think that’s slightly misleading. From what I understand, the material they are working on exists chronologically further back in history in the lore of ‘Lord of the Rings’ or Middle Earth than any characters represented in ‘Lord of the Rings’.”
    “It sounds more Silmarillion era. Not to get nerdy, but it’s the Second Age of Middle Earth,” he insists.
    But, despite his quarrel with the title, Wood admits he’d love to play a part in the series.
    “If there was a world where that made sense and was organic to what they’re doing, then yes,” he says. “Look, any excuse to get to go to New Zealand to work on something, I am absolutely there.”

    AceShowbiz – Tom Cruise’s seventh and eighth outings as Ethan Hunt in the “Mission: Impossible” franchise will no longer be filming back to back.
    The action star and director Christopher McQuarrie have been battling COVID-related dramas to complete the seventh movie in the popular series, and now Deadline sources have revealed Paramount bosses have rescheduled plans to shoot “Mission: Impossible VIII”.
    That’s partly because Cruise won’t be able to film while promoting “Top Gun: Maverick”, which is set for release on July 2.
    He is expected to pick up the eighth “Mission: Impossible” movie later this year.

    Meanwhile, in an Instagram post on Sunday, February 14, McQuarrie shot down U.K. tabloid reports suggesting “Mission: Impossible VII” had been disrupted again by pandemic-related travel issues. Instead, the filmmaker revealed the cast and crew had completed filming in the Middle East and were on their way back to London to apply a few “finishing touches.”

    Prior to this, it was reported that production was halted as some people refused to work and demanded to head back to the U.K. before the country’s new travel restrictions are implemented. An insider explained, “The whole production has hit yet another issue and there have been revolts among the cast and crew.”
    “For quite a few of them, the prospect of having to quarantine in a hotel back in the U.K. is a step too far and they’ve demanded to be flown home before the rules change. The studio has had to fund a jet back and the missing cast and crew will inevitably cause another delay,” the source added. “It was hoped that filming in the UAE would provide some flexibility but that changed when the UK shut its borders.”
    “Mission: Impossible VII” is still on track to hit cinemas in mid-November, while “Mission: Impossible VIII” remains on the calendar for early November, 2022.

    Pugh starred alongside new couple Wilde and Harry Styles in the film, and as it wrapped over the weekend, she decided to salute grips, catering officials, and camera operators, who kept everyone safe during COVID.
    In an Instagram post on Sunday (February 14), the actress wrote, “It’s official, it’s a wrap! Yesterday was our final day on the set of ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ and I wanted to give you all some insight… – these are some of the people who made this movie happen. This is our talented crew.”
    “The grips, the gaffer, the electrics, set PA’s (personal assistants), sound mixer, prop masters, location scouts, location manager, production designer, art department, crafty, catering, stand ins, stunt coordinator, stunt women, stunt men, medic, COVID compliance officers and managers, camera operators, camera assistants, Director of photography, security, transportation team, script supervisor, hair artists, makeup artists, costume designers, costume dressers, boom operators, producers, writer, Director, 1st AD’s, 2nd AD’s, 3rd AD’s. The new episode saw the aftermath of former contestant Heather Martin surprisingly arriving at the house during the cocktail party. As the tension grew among the ladies, Bachelor Matt James decided to not keep Heather around and send her home.
    “It’s been a roller coaster of emotions tonight. I already sent Heather home,” Matt said in confessional. He was later seen picking up the first rose and gave it to Bri. Also receiving a rose from Matt were Rachael, Kit, Jessenia and Abigail. That meant Chelsea and Serena C. were eliminated. “It sucks to get your hopes up,” said Chelsea, while Serena admitted that she felt like being “rejected.”
    The next morning, Matt and Serena P. had a one-on-one date in which they did a trantic yoga. “I’m just vibing right now. I left each pose that much closer to Serena,” so Matt said. During the date, Serena told him that she wasn’t into PDA. “That was a first and last for me when it comes to tantric yoga,” she told Matt. “I’m not an overly affectionate person, especially in public. It was just like, beyond my comfort zone. And a lot of my brain was like, ‘tried it and done.’ ”
    Later at the night portion of the date, Matt said to Serena P. that he wanted her family’s approval of him. “I could 100 percent see myself falling in love with her,” Matt revealed in confessional.

    The next day during the group date, Matt tried to get to know the other ladies better. Bri said that she made a big decision by resigning from her job to be on the show, while Abigail opened up about her concern regarding her stance in Matt’s heart. Matt admitted that his heart pulled him in another direction, telling Abigail, “You deserve someone who is going to put you first.” With that, Abigail was eliminated.
    Meanwhile, Rachael told Matt that she loved her and Matt told her that he wanted to meet her family. He also connected with Kit, who believed that she would get a rose that night. However, she later visited Matt in his room. She told him that while she could see herself falling in love with him, she wasn’t really sure. “You deserve someone who is 100 percent sure of you getting down on one knee tomorrow, and that’s not me,” Kit told Matt before walking out.
    Later, Matt and Jessenia had a one-on-one date. Matt pulled in a flashy red car before they enjoyed an “incredible dinner” in a room of Christmas lights. Later, Jessenia got candid about her feelings for Matt. While Matt was grateful for that, he told her, “I don’t think I’m there yet. Knowing you deserve unwavering love and respect… I can’t give you this rose.” She was “blindsided” by the decision but she said she would cherish her memories with him.
    It was time for the rose ceremony. She gave out the roses to Bri and Michelle as they joined Serena P. and Rachael who got theirs first. Unfortunately, Pieper didn’t get one and had to be sent home.

    The special will begin with a candid chat between Oprah and Meghan, covering topics like the former actress’ life as a royal, motherhood, and the pressure of public life and becoming one of the world’s most famous women.
    “Later, the two are joined by Prince Harry as they speak about their move to the United States and their future hopes and dreams for their expanding family,” a release reads.
    Oprah and Meghan have been close for some time and the multi-media queen was a guest at the couple’s royal wedding in Britain in 2018.

    Meanwhile, enterprising artists at Madame Tussauds Museum in Sydney, Australia have given their Duchess Meghan waxwork a baby bump to mark her pregnancy news.
    The makeover also features the pregnant royal wearing a maternity dress.
    The waxwork is surrounded by kangaroos, some of which are kissing her baby bump.
    “We couldn’t think of a better way to say congratulations than by sending kangaroo kisses the royal family’s way,” a spokesperson for Madame Tussauds Sydney said.
    Meghan’s pregnancy comes three months after she revealed she suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage last summer.
    “I felt a sharp cramp. I dropped to the floor with him in my arms, humming a lullaby to keep us both calm, the cheerful tune a stark contrast to my sense that something was not right. I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second,” she recalled.

While Katy Perry and fellow judge Lionel Richie said yes to Claudia, her performance wasn’t convincing enough for Luke Bryan. The country singer thought the song only confirmed Claudia’s “limited” range. Despite that, she was voted throught the next round.
    The episode also saw Claudia discussing her relationship with her mother, telling the judges that it was “iffy” and saying that she wanted to get away “from the drama.” She explained, “My parents are high profile political figures. My mother is Kellyanne Conway. She worked for Trump. And my dad’s George Conway. He worked against Trump.”
    “It’s a lot,” she continued. “But you know, I only want to spread love, and I love a compromise, and I do disagree with my mom and dad… I had to move to Washington, D.C. when I was 12 and I hated it. When your mom is working for the President of the United States, who you very much disagree with, it’s really hard.”
    Of her mom, who was accused of abusing her, Claudia said, “She loves me; I love her. I just feel like our relationship is a little iffy. Most of my life, my feelings have been suppressed. So then I got on social media, and I was like, ‘Well damn, now my voice is being heard.’ You know?”

    She hoped by joining the show, she could “get out of the controversy, get out of the drama, get out of the politics… and let people know that I am a singer, and this is what I want to do.”
    Katy then shared some advice for Claudia, “There’s a lot of noise in your life. You have to calm the storm that is around you. Meaning, before you sing, you need to get off your phone. You need to stop reading your comments. Push it aside. Because if not, you may not ever rise above your dad or your mom. It’s your choice.”
    Accompanying the teen to her journey achieving her Hollywood dream was her father George, the founder of the anti-Trump Lincoln Project. He could be seen crying once he found out that his daughter advanced to the next round.

    George wasn’t the only one who was happy for Claudia. Kellyanne made a surprise appearance by having a video call with her daughter. “I love you so much. I’m so proud of you,” the politician told Claudia. She concluded her message, “This is your time to shine. But remember, honey–winners are people who are willing to lose.”

    The “Titanic” actress reveals she is actively making sure Angourie Rice, her young co-star in upcoming HBO miniseries, “Mare of Easttown”, is comfortable on set for all her intimate scenes.
    “Because there were no clothes that come off in the scene, they didn’t consider bringing in an intimacy coordinator, but I just got the sense that she was nervous,” Kate tells the “How I Found My Voice” podcast. “I said to her, ‘I’m going to be around for this, I’m going to stay, I won’t leave the set’. She said, ‘Thank God Kate, thank you so much’.”

Shortly after “The Bachelor” host announced that he will take a break from the long-running dating show for “excusing” a contestant’s past racist behavior, Lauren Zima admitted that he was “wrong” for “defending racism.”
    The Entertainment Tonight correspondent, who has been dating Chris since 2019, sent out her statement via Instagram Story on Saturday, February 13. “What Chris said was wrong and disappointing,” she wrote in the post. “Defending racism can never happen. Accountability comes first, what’s next is learning and growth.”
    Earlier that day, Lauren’s boyfriend Chris took to his own Instagram account to apologize for a second time for his “ignorance.” He began his lengthy message, “I have spent the last few days listening to the pain my words have caused, and I am deeply remorseful. My ignorance did damage to my friends, colleagues and strangers alike. I have no one to blame but myself for what I said and the way I spoke.”
    “I set standards for myself, and have to meet them. I feel that with every fiber of my being. Now just as I taught my children to stand up, and to own their actions, I will do the same,” the 49-year-old added. “By excusing historical racism, I defended it. I invoked the term ‘woke police,’ which is unacceptable. I am ashamed over how uninformed I was. I was so wrong.”

    “To the Black community, to the BIPOC community: I am so sorry. My words were harmful. I am listening, and I truly apologize for my ignorance and any pain it caused you,” the TV host further pleaded. “I want to give my heartfelt thanks to the people from these communities who I’ve had enlightening conversations with over the past few days, and I am so grateful to those who have reached out to help me on my path to anti-racism.”
    Chris then declared that taking a break from the ABC franchise would be his best decision. “The historic season of The Bachelor should not be marred or overshadowed by my mistakes or diminished by my actions,” he elaborated. “To that end, I have consulted with Warner Bros. and ABC and will be stepping aside for a period of time and will not join for the After the Final Rose special.”

    Chris had already issued his apology on Wednesday, February 10 for his remarks in his interview with Rachel. He regretted his action in defending “The Bachelor” contestant Rachael Kirkconnell for allegedly attending a 2018 fraternity party that a Reddit user described as an “antebellum plantation themed ball.”
