    Report: Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill Wanted Back for 'Star Wars' Franchise

    Despite how their characters’ storylines turn out in the Skywalker Saga, Lucasfilm allegedly believes that there’s still more left to tell of Ford’s Han Solo and Hamill’s Luke Skywalker.

    AceShowbiz – Harrison Ford’s Han Solo and Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker will forever be etched in “Star Wars” fans’ mind as two of three key characters in the George Lucas-created sci-fi epic space opera. While that’s more than enough legacy left by those two characters, they could be brought back in one or more new projects of the franchise.
    According to We Got This Covered which claims to obtain the info from reliable sources, Lucasfilm wants both Hamill and Ford for future projects, which could be films or TV series. Though their characters’ storylines seem to bring their journeys to an end, the studio believes that there’s still “some mileage left in the characters” and has “ideas for how to bring them back.”
    Ford, Hamill and Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia/General Leia) all returned for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”, but Solo was killed off in the 2015 film, which was the actor’s request. Leia continued to play a great role in the latest “Star Wars” trilogy, although the actress’ untimely passing before “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” greatly affected her character’s story arc in the final film of the Skywalker Saga.

    Meanwhile, Hamill’s Luke was killed off in the second film, “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”, but he’s brought back as a Force Ghost in “The Rise of Skywalker”. The actor was initially critical of his own role in “The Last Jedi”, stating that he and director Rian Johnson had “a fundamental difference” on Skywalker’s characterization. He later expressed regret for having made those statements, calling the film an “all-time great.”
    Lucasfilm currently has an ongoing “Star Wars” TV series, “The Mandalorian”, which is released on Disney+. The studio is additionally developing another live-action series which centers on female characters.
    As for the next big screen project, the studio has hired Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige and “Thor: Ragnarok” helmer Taika Waititi to develop separate new “Star Wars” films.

    AceShowbiz – It was apparently not easy for both Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner to get back to normal after they were involved in a huge fight earlier this year in Palm Springs. In the Thursday, November 5 episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”, it was revealed that the two sisters weren’t speaking to each other for a month after the fight.
    That prompted Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian to try to get one of them to reach out to the other. “Hearing from Kendall that her and Kylie still aren’t speaking to one another makes me really sad, because we just don’t operate like that,” Khloe said in a confessional. “[Kourtney Kardashian] and [Kim Kardashian] were vicious lions to one another and then they go to Armenia a couple days later.”
    Kylie, meanwhile, shared a picture of her with Kendall on Instagram and the latter responded with a comment. “Aren’t we fighting?” Kendall wrote, to which her sister replied, “Yes but my titties are sitting nice in this pic.” Kendall told Khloe that it was their first interaction after the fight.
    “I get upset any time my kids are fighting, so the fact that Kendall and Kylie are still not speaking to each other and it’s been a month now, and they’re posting about it on Instagram — it’s very, very upsetting,” Kris admitted. She then called Kylie, asking her to check on Kendall who was all alone amid the COVID-19 lockdown. “You should just check in on her, she’s the only one who doesn’t have kids and I feel like she’s alone a lot. I just worry about her,” Kris said.

    It was eventually Kendall who called Kylie after she read a book about putting aside their pride. She explained, “Before Kylie and I got in a fight, she showed me this really good book and there was a whole paragraph on pride and how pride is just an extension of fear. And it just reminded me so much of my argument with my sister, just ’cause we both are alpha and tough girls.”
    “We still haven’t spoken and there have been moments where I’m like, I should just be the bigger person and reach out, but then there’s also moments where I’m like, no, she needs to pick up the phone and call me,” she continued. Kylie didn’t pick up then phone but then called her back. Answering the call, Kendall said to Kylie, “Long time no see.”
    Kylie told Kendall that things “just got completely out of control, and I just feel like I was just confused on my part because we never spoke about me taking you home until it was the very last minute, so I think it was just like, miscommunication.” She told her sister that she didn’t intend to hurt her.
    “Sisters are sisters. We can fight all we want and say crazy things to each other but at the end of the day, we’re family and we love each other so much,” Kendall shared in a confessional. “She is my partner in crime, always has been my entire life, and that will never change. So her not being in my life for a month and a half was not ideal because I love talking to her.”
    Kendall and Kylie had a wild fight after the latter refused to drive Kendall home after a family getaway in Palm Springs. When Kris’ boyfriend Corey Gamble suggested them to call another car for Kendall as they stopped at a gas station, the latter exploded and said, “Corey, I’m not getting in a f***ing random SUV by myself.” After a shouting match, Kylie and Corey ditched Kendall alone at a gas station. Her other sisters and mom Kris then fetched her, who was sobbing as she got into the car.

    AceShowbiz – After being delayed for a few days due to presidential election, a new episode of “The Bachelorette” arrived on Thursday, November 5. The episode kicked off with the men complaining because Clare Crawley decided not to give anyone the rose at the group date because she didn’t think she spent enough time with them during the date.
    The whole situation prompted host Chris Harrison to visit Clare in her room because he thought they needed a serious talk because the men were not happy over Clare’s obvious interest towards Dale. Claire admitted to Chris that she was head over heels for Dale, though she wanted to respect the process. She also denied talking to Dale before the show.
    Later, Chris met the men to announce that there wouldn’t be a cocktail party and a rose ceremony that night. He then pulled Dale out, telling him that the cancellation was because Clare wanted to spend more time with him tonight.
    Meanwhile, Clare was all dressed up as she waited for Dale. She was really nervous, thinking there was always possibility that Dale didn’t reciprocate her feelings. The two then met to have dinner and Dale told her that he wanted to know more about Clare as well as her parents. They professed their love to each other and kissed.
    Following the dinner, the pair went back to Clare’s room and got comfy on the bed. The filming stopped as the two had a steamy makeout session. The next morning saw Dale shirtless as they were in bed together. In a confessional, Clare said, “I could most definitely, GLADLY spend the rest of my life with Dale. I didn’t expect a lot of things to happen this quickly.”
    She then gushed over the “priceless” time she spent with Dale, telling Chris that Dale was “even better than I expected” when the cameras off. “It’s unbelievable to me, and it’s surreal. He’s exactly what I’m looking for, and I would be so honored to be with this guy for the rest of my life, easily. And I don’t even hesitate on that,” she said. Chris told her that she broke records in the show’s history and there would be proposal that night.
    It was time for Clare to tell other men about what happened between her and Dale. “This is so hard for me, because you guys are all such amazing guys,” she said. “Essentially, when I came here, I was so ready and open and willing to like, find the love of my life, and what I came here for, I think I found. And it’s with Dale. I know each and every one of you have so much to offer… I’m a woman who knows what I want, and I’m going for it.”

    She went on to say, “I just have so much respect for you guys that I would never, ever want to lead any of you on, and I hope you guys know it doesn’t devalue any of the conversations or any of the energy I had with you guys. I hope that what I found in Dale, I sincerely want the same for you guys.”
    The men were unsurprisingly baffled with Blake showing his concern about how fast she fell in love which might hurt her later. Meanwhile, Kenny demanded an apology from Claire who replied, “I’m not going to apologize for love.”
    “I just feel like a lot of time was wasted… I could tell your head wasn’t there,” he hit back. “So, you should apologize for faking it, when you should have admitted you were in love with Dale after the first night, because that’s what it looks like.” As she broke down, Clare eventually apologized for wasting everyone’s time and hurting them, though she insisted that she wouldn’t apologize for love.
    After calling Neil Lane for a ring, Chris told Dale that he had to propose to Clare because she broke up with the other guys. Later, Dale could be seen contemplating whether he would propose to Clare or not because they just met for two days.
    The most-anticipated moment was finally here. Clare was afraid that Dale wasn’t on the same page with her when it came to proposal. However, it seemed like she shouldn’t have been worried because Dale got on one knee and asked, “Clare, will you marry me?” Clare obviously accepted it and gave Dale her final rose.
    Later, viewers were offered a glimpse at the first look at Tayshia Adams who will take over “The Bachelorette” from Clare. Following the episode, Chris also shared on his social media accounts a new poster, teasing “a new journey” with Taysha.

    “The Bachelorette” airs on Tuesdays on ABC.

    AceShowbiz – Anne Hathaway tries to make amends over the damaging portrayal of disability in “The Witches”. One day after Warner Bros. officials issued an apology to the disability community, the actress playing the Grand High Witch in the movie promised to do better as she expressed remorse for her involvement.
    The 37-year-old took to Instagram on Thursday, November 5 to share a video from Lucky Fin Project that raises awareness on children, individuals and families affected by limb differences. After thanking the nonprofit for the clip, she began addressing the issue, “I have recently learned that many people with limb differences, especially children, are in pain because of the portrayal of the Grand High Witch in The Witches.”
    “Let me begin by saying I do my best to be sensitive to the feelings and experiences of others not out of some scrambling PC fear, but because not hurting others seems like a basic level of decency we should all be striving for,” the wife of Adam Shulman continued. “As someone who really believes in inclusivity and really, really detests cruelty, I owe you all an apology for the pain caused.”

    “I am sorry. I did not connect limb difference with the GHW when the look of the character was brought to me; if I had, I assure you this never would have happened,” the Academy Award winner stressed. “I particularly want to say I’m sorry to kids with limb differences: now that I know better I promise I’ll do better. And I owe a special apology to everyone who loves you as fiercely as I love my own kids: I’m sorry I let your family down.”
    When concluding her apologetic statement, the Andrea Sachs of “The Devil Wears Prada” urged fans and followers to learn more about the issue at hand. “If you aren’t already familiar, please check out the @Lucky_Fin_Project (video above) and the #NotAWitch hashtag to get a more inclusive and necessary perspective on limb difference,” she stated.

    Anne’s apology came after Warner Bros. officials told Deadline that they were “deeply saddened to learn that our depiction of the fictional characters in ‘The Witches’ could upset people with disabilities.” They also “regretted any offense caused” by the film.

    The two actresses play unlikely partners in the film, based in the 1840s, and Kate admits it was wonderful mapping out the love story with the “Little Women” star.
    “It was interesting for me, shooting the more intimate scenes with Saoirse,” she tells WENN. “We totally adored each other… and being allowed to adore each other was just brilliant. It was really empowering, playing those two roles together – more than I’ve ever felt empowered before.”
    “It made me almost annoyed with myself, in the sense that I’ve filmed intimate scenes before, but mostly with male actors – and it suddenly occurred to me that there is an automatic power dynamic that comes into play when doing that type of scene with a man. As a woman, you assume the man will take the reins, or steer the energy of the scene, and you as the female character will be ‘taken’ in some way.”
    “I realised that I have allowed myself to be that taken one. It’s been absolutely fine, I’ve been perfectly comfortable with it, but to be in a situation with Saoirse, where it was utterly equal, it made me feel kind of angry at how that hasn’t occurred to me before.”

    Winslet, now 45, adds, “Now more than ever, I do feel telling these stories, where you see women breaking away from societal norms, it’s incredibly, incredibly important. I feel very lucky to be part of a movement just now; and filmmaking is a crucial part of that movement, keeping female voices loud and proud, sharing these stories and telling them in a truthful, sincere, emotional way.”
    “A lot came up for me – lots of really interesting new things about being a woman. I’ve always felt as though I stand on my own two feet, and have a strong voice, and I’m quite proud of that – but I’ve only just begun.”
    And Ronan, 26, felt just as blessed working with Kate, revealing she was the ultimate professional, while being “kind and lovely to everyone.”
    “She’s also willing to do everything for the job,” the Irish actress explains. “She’s willing to look as ridiculous as possible in order to get a certain shot, or be cold and wet in the rain for as long as it takes to get a good take. It doesn’t matter to her. She’s so committed to what she’s doing and she’s got such a great sense of humour about the whole thing. She’s just got a really great attitude about work.”
    “I’ve just absolutely loved working with her. I’d never done a sex scene that was so intense and full-on before. But to be able to do that with her, I did feel very, very safe, like we could go anywhere with it and still be kept safe.”

    AceShowbiz – John Stamos was forced to sign a non-disclosure agreement to avoid spilling the identity of the celebrity behind the Squiggly Monster costume on U.S. reality show “The Masked Singer”.
    The contestant was eliminated from the singing competition’s season four on Wednesday (04Nov20), when it was revealed comedian Bob Saget was the man in the wacky disguise.
    All participants are required to keep the news of their involvement in the show under wraps, but Saget couldn’t help but share the secret with his best friend and “Full House” co-star Stamos – so the actor had to sign a legally-binding contract with show producers to prevent the news leaking before his big reveal.
    “John Stamos had to sign an NDA, as did my wife and one of my daughters…,” Saget told TheWrap of the loved ones who were let in on the singing secret.
    “He was like, ‘How’s it going? Are you having fun?’ Because he’s like a brother to me and cares.”

    However, Saget didn’t tell his TV daughter, actress Candace Cameron Bure – even when she quizzed him about her hunch.
    “After the show last week, I was sent a video by Candace and Marilu Henner in the background, and she’s screaming, ‘Are you Squiggly Monster?! That’s you! I know your voice! I know your movements! You’re Squiggly Monster.’ ”
    “And I answered her, I said, ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m very flattered and love you.’ But she knew. She was like, freaking out, because she loves the show because it’s a show you can watch with your whole family.”
    The popular series features celebrities belting out songs while dressed up in elaborate disguises, with judges Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke rating their performances as they try to guess who is behind the mask.
    The least favourite is booted from the show at the end of each episode, when they take off their costumes to reveal their identities.
    Other stars kicked off the current season of “The Masked Singer” so far include rapper Busta Rhymes and actors Mickey Rourke and Brian Austin Green.

    AceShowbiz – Actress Lashana Lynch endured “abuse” and “attacks” after she was cast as the first black 007 in the new James Bond movie, “No Time to Die”.
    The “Captain Marvel” star has made history with the role of Nomi, a secret agent who inherits the 007 moniker from the titular spy, played by Daniel Craig.
    But the news of her career-making opportunity was met with racist comments on social media.
    “I am one black woman – if it were another black woman cast in the role, it would have been the same conversation, she would have got the same attacks, the same abuse,” she told Harper’s Bazaar magazine.

    “I just have to remind myself that the conversation is happening and that I’m a part of something that will be very, very revolutionary.”
    The British actress worked to ensure she represented the black experience authentically through the character.
    “A character that is too slick, a cast-iron figure? That’s completely against what I stand for,” Lynch added. “I didn’t want to waste an opportunity when it came to what Nomi might represent.
    “I searched for at least one moment in the script where black audience members would nod their heads, tutting at the reality but glad to see their real life represented. In every project I am part of, no matter the budget or genre, the black experience that I’m presenting needs to be 100 per cent authentic.”
    “No Time to Die” is scheduled for release in April (21).

    AceShowbiz – Vince Vaughn is in talks to star in a second “Wedding Crashers” movie.
    The 50-year-old actor tells Entertainment Tonight both he and Owen Wilson are in the “early stages” of discussions to reprise their characters, Jeremy and John, from the 2005 film.
    “Owen and I and the director of Crashers have been talking for the first time seriously (about) a sequel to that movie,” he shares. “So there has been an idea that is pretty good. So we are talking about that in the early stages.”

    “Wedding Crashers” centres on the stars’ divorce mediator characters, who spend their free time crashing wedding receptions in a bid to drink for free and bed vulnerable women. When Secretary of the Treasury William Cleary, played by Christopher Walken, announces his daughter’s wedding, they make it their mission to crash the bash – until John locks eyes with Rachel McAdams’ bridesmaid character Claire.
    Vince added that the movie was a “fun movie to make” along with his other comedies, “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” and “Zoolander”, gushing, “It’s always fun to make people laugh and go to work with people that are funny.”
    The “Wedding Crashers 2” has been in the works for years. Plot for the sequel is still unknown. Will Ferrell who also had a role in the first film joked in an interview early this year, “How about if it’s just the lawyers representing everyone in divorce court? And just make it, like, a legal courtroom drama – not funny at all.”
