    AceShowbiz – “Charlie’s Angels” star Kristen Stewart’s new movie has become the latest project to bypass cinemas and open on a streaming site.
    Christmas romantic comedy “Happiest Season” was supposed to hit theatres on November 25, but now it will debut on Hulu instead.
    Announcing the news on Tuesday, October 20, TriStar president Nicole Brown said: “This holiday season, more than any other, we could all use a little happiness.”
    “It was essential to Sony Pictures and to the filmmakers that Clea DuVall’s marvelous and fresh holiday-themed romantic comedy come out when the lights are on the trees. We are excited that Hulu is geared up to make this happen in the U.S. and grateful that they love the movie as much as we do.”

    DuVall added in a statement, “I am beyond grateful to Hulu for providing an incredible home for Happiest Season, and I’ll forever cherish my journey with Sony Pictures who felt just as strongly as I did about the value of bringing the first major LGBTQ+ holiday rom-com to audiences. I’m hopeful that this universal story, told through a unique lens, will join the long list of holiday classics that continue to bring all of us so much joy and happiness.”

    In the film, Stewart’s Abby realises her girlfriend, Harper, played by Mackenzie Davis, has kept the pair’s relationship a secret from her family when she meets them for the first time over Christmas.
    The movie also stars Mary Steenburgen, Victor Garber, Alison Brie, Aubrey Plaza, and Dan Levy.

    AceShowbiz – The first trailer of HBO Max’s upcoming thriller series “The Flight Attendant” starring Kaley Cuoco is here for viewing pleasure. The video, which was released on Tuesday, October 20, opens with Kaley’s flight attendant character Cassandra having a normal day at work until she meets one of the passengers, Alex (Michiel Huisman).
    The two hit it off quickly as they spend the night together. However, things take a bloody turn as Cassandra wakes up with a dead Alex on the bed. She claims that she doesn’t remember anything that happened that night. When asked why she cleans the evidence in the hotel room up, disheveled Cassandra responds, “I… I don’t know.”
    Elsewhere in the trailer, Cassandra can be seen getting paranoid when she hears a police siren. She also becomes one of the wanted people by FBI while she appears to be getting dragged to a confusing development of the murder case. Hinting at comedy touch on the new series, the trailer concludes with Alex, whose body is covered in blood, wakes up from his dead and asks Cassandra, “How do you think you’re getting away with any of this?”

    The official logline of “The Flight Attendant” says that the series will center on the story of how an entire life can change in one night. A flight attendant wakes up in the wrong hotel, in the wrong bed, with a dead man — and with no idea what happened. The dark comedic thriller is based on the novel of the same name by New York Times bestselling author Chris Bohjalian.
    Also starring on the series are Rosie Perez, Zosia Mamet, Michelle Gomez, T.R. Knight, Colin Woodell, Merle Dandridge, Griffin Matthews and Nolan Gerard Funk. Greg Berlanti, Kaley, Steve Yockey, Marcie Ulin, Meredith Lavender and Sarah Schechter serve as executive producers with Suzanne McCormack co-executive producing. Meanwhile, Susanna Fogel directed and executive produced the first two episodes.
    The first three episodes of “The Flight Attendant” will arrive on November 26 on HBO Max. The next two episodes will follow on December 3 with two more episodes released on December 10. The season finale will air on December 17.

    AceShowbiz – The “Fast & Furious” film franchise is finally seeing the end of the road. Almost two decades since it was launched with the first movie in 2001, the saga is coming to a conclusion with two more films following the upcoming “F9”.
    Justin Lin, who is currently in post-production on “F9”, is reportedly in talks to return as director for the 10th and 11th movies that will bring a close to the franchise. According to Deadline which first reported the news, the final two installments will likely tell a big story that will focus on Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto.
    As it’s noted that the 10th and 11th movies are still on early stages of development, details are very scarce about them. However, it’s highly likely that Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel and Sung Kang will return for the last two movies.

    Though the core storyline following Diesel’s character will conclude with an 11th film, that doesn’t necessarily mean the end of the “Fast & Furious” cinematic saga. Words are spin-off movies based on “Fast & Furious” characters are currently in development at Universal.
    The “Fast & Furious” franchise was kicked off with its first film which was released in 2001. It has spanned eight movies and a spin-off, “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw”, which centers on Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Luke Hobbs and Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw.
    The “Fast” franchise, including the “Hobbs & Shaw” spin-off, has grossed $5.89 billion globally. The next installment in the saga, “F9”, was originally scheduled for a 2020 release, but it has been rescheduled to May 28, 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
    Lin directed the “Fast” films since its third installment, 2006’s “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift”. While James Wan and F. Gary Gray were at the helm of the seventh (“Furious 7”) and eighth film (“The Fate of the Furious”) respectively, he’s brought to return for the ninth installment.

    AceShowbiz – Garcelle Beauvais reportedly will not return for another season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”. The actress, who serves as the only black housewife on the Bravo reality series, is said to be leaving the show following a salary dispute.
    A source close to the production told MTO News that “The Real” co-host is not satisfied with her current pay. “Garcelle wanted a big raise to be on the show. She didn’t get one, and so she’s walking,” the insider claimed. “It’s not worth it to her.”
    Bravo apparently has found a replacement for Garcelle. According to the site, actress Tori Spelling has been tapped to appear in the upcoming season of the reality show, though she won’t be a full-time cast member. The insider added Tori will “join the exciting next season in a ‘friend of’ role.”

    The “BH90210” star’s mom Candy will also make appearance on the show to give more new story. “People who have followed Tori, know her relationship with her mom has been contentious for years,” the source continued.
    The new report, however, contradicts Garcelle’s claims earlier this month. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Garcelle confirmed that she would be back for season 11 of “RHOBH”. “I am returning to the Housewives, yes,” Garcelle shared. “You know, you gotta be a little, a little brave. A little scared. A little ready. I mean, it’s all those things, and I say it with a laugh because I’m ready, but you’re never really ready.”
    With the many drama in the recent seasons of the show, Garcelle admitted to feeling nervous. “That’s what I’m afraid of,” the actress said. “So, here we go, you know? And I sorta got a warning from Ms. [Lisa Rinna], so we’ll see. I’m ready though, bring it.”
    While Garcelle has yet to respond to the report about her departure, season 11 of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” is expected to arrive on Bravo in 2021.

    Commenting on one of Niecy’s posts on the photo-sharing platform, a fan brought the topic to the Emmy-nominated actress. “Just wondering have you noticed you have lost a lot of fans that was loyal to you before you came out sometimes it’s just best to stay in Hollywood ain’t it for everybody,” the person wrote to the star.
    It didn’t take long for Niecy to respond to the comment with a lengthy message. “If I lost a fan because of who I love then that wasn’t a real fan. Who/how I love has nothing to do with my art. I’m still a skilled, Emmy nominated award winning actress,” she explained. “I didn’t stop being great at my craft because of where I lay my head. Soooo idk?”

    Some others blasted the commenter with a user seemingly accusing the person of just trying to get the comedian’s attention. “Why do people feel the need to, ‘I hope you noticed,’ like you telling somebody something they care to hear?     Niecy and Jessica tied the knot in August before they recited their wedding vows in the latter’s music video for her new single “Catch Me” which was released earlier this month. The 50-year-old “Scream Queens” actress said, “I promise to always love you and to always choose you. You are a testament to the magic that happens when your heart is opened. I will meet you there, wherever there is. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me.”
    Jessica added, “I’ve watched you pour into so many people, but now you’ve got somebody to pour into you. I’m going to pour into you. You deserve nothing but happiness. Love you. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me.”

    AceShowbiz – President Donald Trump is back with his antics. POTUS had a solo interview with CBS News’ “60 Minutes” with host Lesley Stahl on Tuesday, October 20 when he abruptly ended the interview. He didn’t return despite being tapped to film a joint interview with Vice President Mike Pence.
    According to reports, POTUS cut short the interview, which took place at the White House, only 45 minutes into the interview that will be scheduled to air on Sunday. He allegedly told the crew that he believed they had enough material to use for their program.
    It was also said that Trump threatened to release a tape from the interview before its scheduled broadcast. Of the report, a representative of the White House claimed that “the White House had agreed they were taping the interview for archival purposes only.” Meanwhile, CBS News has yet to comment on the matter.
    Trump himself took to his Twitter account on Tuesday to address the matter. “I am pleased to inform you that, for the sake of accuracy in reporting, I am considering posting my interview with Lesley Stahl of 60 Minutes, PRIOR TO AIRTIME! This will be done so that everybody can get a glimpse of what a FAKE and BIASED interview is all about…,” he tweeted.

    He also launched a personal attack on Stahl in a Twitter post. Sharing a video of her at the White House, Trump captioned it, “Lesley Stahl of 60 Minutes not wearing a mask in the White House after her interview with me. Much more to come.”

    A source, however, defended Stahl, saying that she wore a mask while she was talking with Trump and Pence and that the clip that the president shared was taken right after the interview. She was speaking with members of her crew who tested negative for COVID-19.

    “They had to force me. Force me,” the 29-year-old opened up in an interview with Nylon magazine on Monday, October 19. “I remember just thinking like, ‘Y’all are insane. I’m not playing a vampire. That is so stupid. Why would I do that?’ ” Still, she admitted that she “went and read for that role.”
    The younger sister of Britney Spears went on to name another star trying for the role as well. “I remember sitting in this little room, and I think Lily Collins was there, and I felt so sick,” she spilled before noting that she did not realize that she was expecting her first child with her highschool sweetheart Casey Aldridge at that time. “Little did I know, I was pregnant.”

    When talking about being pregnant at 16, the Noreen Fitzgibbons of “Sweet Magnolias” shared, “You have your first love, or what you call love in high school. You think it’s forever, and then, oh my gosh, I’m pregnant.” She added, “I am mortified to have to tell my parents this and my family this. I do not care what TMZ thinks about it.”
    “That was all I was thinking about: ‘These are the people I love that I have to tell, and also, I’m pregnant. And yet, sure enough, everywhere I went in Mississippi for that whole nine months, there was always paparazzi on me everywhere I went.”
    Jamie welcomed her first child, now-12-year-old Maddie, back in 2008. The “Shotgun Wedding” songstress, however, ended her relationship with Casey two years afterward. Following the split, the TV personality got into a relationship with businessman Jamie Watson. The two tied the knot in 2014, and have since shared a 2-year-old daughter, Ivey Joan, together.

The new outing featured leading lady Clare Crawley continuing her journey to find love among the remaining 23 men after the first eliminations. There were three dates in the new episode, consisting of two group dates and a one-on-one date.
    For the first group date, Riley, Jordan, Yosef, Ivan, Ben, Bennett, Zac C., Fart Box and Dale were picked. During the game, the men took turns to express the different love languages in addition to sharing words of affirmation and gifts.
    Following the date, Clare and the men went for an evening cocktail party where the Bachelorette was supposed to have a deep conversation with the suitors. However, none of the men initiated a conversation which upset Clare. “I’m a little bit taken aback. … I’m sitting here, I had made a toast…and then there was the longest awkward silence,” she confronted them. “I just sat here and was embarrassed. … Does anybody want to spend time with me?”

    Only after the confrontation that the men started to try to get a moment with her. Eventually, Clare gave the group date rose to Riley.
    Clare then enjoyed a one-on-one date with Jason Foster. During the date, the pair talked about their past. It seemed like Clare felt connected to Jason as she rewarded Jason with the second rose of the week.
    In the final group date, 10 men were split into two teams as they played dodgeball. The losing team in each round had to remove a piece of clothing, while the winning team would spend the remainder of the night with Clare. Chasen Nick, Jay Smith, Uzoma “Eazy” Nwachukwu, Joe Park and Brandon Goss eventually won. While Chasen impressed Clare to the point she gave him a rose, Brandon was sent home early because Clare felt that he was superficial and inauthentic. “The thing that is my saving grace is that I know what I’m looking for, and I know what I want,” so Clare reminded everyone.
    However, it’s safe to assume that Clare was really interested in Dale, with whom she spent the rest of the evening. She admitted to having a strong connection with him in a confessional, saying, “With Dale, it’s just that crazy, unexplainable chemistry that when it’s so fresh and so new, it’s like I’ve known him for years. I still can’t put words to it.”
