  • 'The Batman': New Leaked Set Photo Confirms Superman Tie

    Warner Bros. Pictures

During the filming in Liverpool, London, an onlooker takes a picture of an extra wearing the Man of Steel costume on the set of the Robert Pattinson-starring film.

    Oct 17, 2020
AceShowbiz – Matt Reeves’ “The Batman” doesn’t exist in a universe separate from the DCEU as it was initially believed. Though Ben Affleck’s recasting with Robert Pattinson in the upcoming solo film has put the “Justice League” formation in question, a new set photo has seemingly confirmed that Pattinson’s Batman and Superman exist in the same universe.
The evidence was obtained in the form of set photo which was taken by an onlooker, Sam McGaw, from the set in London. During the filming, someone, who appeared to be one of the movie’s extras, was seen wearing a Superman costume.
While the scene where the said Superman appears is reportedly a Halloween party, it does confirm that the Man of Steel exists in “The Batman” universe. “Sooooo @SamMcTweets just sent me this pic. Sooooo this means two things one this is 100% a Halloween party,” wrote a Twitter user who posted the picture. “And 2 DOES SUPERMAN F**KING EXIST IN THE REEVERSE!!!!!!”

Superman was spotted on ‘The Batman’ set in London.

“The Batman” continues filming in Liverpool though the city has been hit by new stringent COVID-19 restrictions. On Wednesday, October 14, U.K. government officials announced that the city and surrounding region would be the first to be put in ‘Tier 3’ restrictions – the strictest level – starting on Monday, meaning that many pubs and leisure businesses would shortly be shuttered, and household mixing banned.
However, “the new new restrictions in Liverpool will not impact on filming in the city,” a spokesman for the council told Sky News. “The Film Office is working closely with every single production to ensure COVID-safe measures are in place and are being adhered to.”
“The Batman” suspended production in March after the global pandemic hit the U.K., where it was filmed. Shooting on the superhero movie resumed in early September after the British government gave the green light for high-end TV and film productions to resume shooting, as soon as employers put coronavirus safety measures in place.
However, the production was put on pause again after only three days because the lead star, Pattinson, tested positive for COVID-19. Filming resumed on September 17, after the British actor was cleared to return.
Due to the production delay, the movie’s release date has been pushed back from October 1, 2021 to March 4, 2022.

  • Taryn Manning Pulls Out Receipts That 'DWTS' Did Ask Her to Be on the Show

    WENN/FayesVision

In a now-deleted Instagram post, the ‘Orange Is the New Black’ actress shares a slew of emails which appear to show that the ABC series was trying to sign her up, though an insider denies the validity of the emails.

    Oct 17, 2020
AceShowbiz – After “Dancing with the Stars” debunked her claims that the ABC show approached her multiple times asking for her to appear on it, Taryn Manning took to her Instagram account to insist that she told the truth. In a now-deleted post on Friday, October 16, the “Orange Is the New Black” star shared a slew emails from “DWTS” in which the show tried to sign her up.
In one of the emails, the writer told the actress that “my office is casting [‘Dancing with the Stars’],” adding, “We would be thrilled to have Taryn Manning join the cast.” Meanwhile, the other email appeared to feature the long-running dancing competition show asking for a meeting to discuss the “possibility of being on out show.”
Captioning the post, Taryn wrote, “I have been asked to be on your show multiple times and just to clarify that as you see in my photo attachments and btw, thank you for the offers over the years.”

An insider, however, denied the validity of the emails. Of the first email, the insider claims to Page Six that it was from an individual who “has never worked for or on behalf of the show in any capacity.” The source also insisted “there was never an offer on the table.”
Prior to this, Taryn shared that she turned down the chance to appear on “Dancing with the Stars” multiple times because she was afraid of being labeled as a “has been.” Speaking to Page Six on Thursday, October 15, the actress, who also appeared in Eminem’s “8 Mile”, said, “I’ve been asked to be on many times.” She added, “I have this weird phobia that (competing on the show) means you’re a has-been, and I never want to believe that’s the case. Maybe it’s my own stuff, but, yeah, I’m definitely a good dancer.”
However, a representative of the show later debunked Taryn’s claims, insisting that it was actually the other way around. “Taryn claims she’s been asked to join the cast ‘many times,’ however, we have never asked Taryn to be part of the show,” the representative said. “Her representation attempted to pitch her to us a while back and we kindly passed. So her claim that she was asked to join ‘DWTS’ once, never mind many times, is completely false.”
“Her thoughts that the contestants consist of ‘has-beens’ seems to be her own projection onto talent that we have asked to cast,” the rep continued.

Last month (Sep20), it was reported Emmy-winning actress was to star as “She-Hulk” on director Kat Coiro’s new series, set to debut on the Disney+ streaming service.
Even Mark Ruffalo, who plays The Hulk in the MCU, congratulated her but, speaking to The Sudbury Star, Tatiana, 35, denied she’s playing the role.
“That actually isn’t a real thing and it’s like a press release that’s gotten out of hand. It’s totally not – I’ve been connected to these things in the past and press has gotten onto it, but it’s not actually a thing, unfortunately,” she said.

She-Hulk, aka Jennifer Walters, was comic book legend Stan Lee’s last co-creation. She’s the cousin of Bruce Banner, aka The Hulk, who becomes all-powerful following an emergency blood transfusion from her relative.
While Tatiana Maslany denied she’s the running for the project, Mark Ruffalo confirmed he’s in talks to reprise his role on the upcoming show. “There’s some talk about it, but it’s all kind of preliminary,” he said. “It would be nice to see Banner, Hulk, Professor (or) somebody show up to help and to guide or be a gentle guiding presence of She-Hulk as a friend.”
“She-Hulk” joins other seven TV shows that Marvel Studios is currently developing for Disney+. “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” was initially scheduled to debut in August but got delayed indefinitely after production was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

AceShowbiz – A representative for U.S. TV show “Dancing with the Stars” has slammed Taryn Manning’s claims that she’d turned down the chance to appear on the show.
The “Orange Is the New Black” star told the New York Post’s gossip column Page Six that she opted against competing on the talent competition for fears she would be viewed as a “has been.”
“I’ve been asked to be on many times,” she said. “I have this weird phobia that (competing on the show) means you’re a has-been, and I never want to believe that’s the case. Maybe it’s my own stuff, but, yeah, I’m definitely a good dancer.”

  • Damian Lewis Has Zero Interest in James Bond Role

    WENN

Despite being long rumored in the running for James Bond role after ‘No Time to Die’, the former ‘Homeland’ actor insists he is not interested in becoming the next 007 superspy agent.

    Oct 17, 2020
AceShowbiz – Damian Lewis isn’t interested in replacing Daniel Craig as James Bond, and would turn down the role if it was offered to him.
The redheaded actor has been rumoured to be in the running for the role for years, with bookmakers William Hill slashing the odds on him taking the part from 25/1 to 3/1 back in 2015.
But Damian told Britain’s Daily Telegraph newspaper that while Bond is one of the most sought-after roles in the industry, he has no interest in becoming the next 007.

“I don’t want to play Bond. I’m ambitious for different things. I don’t know who they’ll choose – he’ll be fantastic or she will be fantastic. But I don’t want to play Bond – even if I was asked!” he told the newspaper.
Damian’s remarks come after Bond boss Barbara Broccoli insisted they won’t reveal the next actor to take on the super spy role until after Craig’s last outing as 007, “No Time to Die”, hits cinemas next year (21).
“I always say, ‘You can only be in love with one person at a time,’ ” she told Total Film. “Once the film’s come out, then some time will pass, and then we’ll have to get on to the business of the future. But for now, we just cannot think about anything beyond Daniel.”
Rumor has it, Tom Hardy and Harry Styles are among the frontrunners seriously considered to be the next 007 superspy agent. “Don’t f**k it up,” Daniel Craig recently warned his successor. “It’s a beautiful, amazing thing. Don’t f**k it up! Leave it better than when you found it.”

  • Jennifer Lopez Gets Real About Why She Can Relate to Her 'Marry Me' Character

    Instagram

Aside from pointing out her similarity to Kat in the romantic comedy, the ‘Feelin’ So Good’ hitmaker explains why she was thrilled to be part of a movie genre she feels is often devalued.
    Oct 16, 2020
AceShowbiz – Jennifer Lopez found it “cathartic” to play “just a girl” in the romantic comedy “Marry Me” – because that’s how she views herself.
Lopez stars as singer Kat in the film, who discovers her fiance, played by Colombian singer/songwriter Maluma, is cheating on her, moments before they are due to wed during a concert. Determined to go through with the ceremony, J.Lo’s character picks a random mathematics teacher from the audience, portrayed by Owen Wilson, and decides to exchange vows with him instead.
And the singer and actress totally connected with Kat.
“It was a little cathartic for me. I was playing (a character) trying to find someone who understood her and accepted her for all of what her life was but also just saw her as a person,” she tells Billboard. “Like a real girl, which is what I am. People see you as this thing, this star. They forget that you’re just a girl and want to live and laugh and be normal. And that really was what the movie is about.”

The “Feelin’ So Good” hitmaker was also thrilled to be part of a movie genre she feels is often devalued.
“They’re necessary, beautiful movies, and I don’t know why people feel like they have to put them down when everybody enjoys them so much,” she says of lighthearted romances. “It’s like ‘chick flicks.’ I don’t know guys who don’t love to go to the movies and watch a rom-com. It’s a very sweet movie, but it’s still a movie about life.”
“Marry Me” is set to open ahead of the Valentine’s Day holiday on 12 February (21).

  • Daniel Craig's Replacement Won't Be Named Until 'No Time to Die' Gets Released, Bond Producer Says

    Universal Pictures

While she stresses that the producers ‘just cannot think about anything beyond’ their current lead man, Barbara Broccoli is not oppose to the idea of 007 being a person of color.
    Oct 16, 2020
AceShowbiz – James Bond movie boss Barbara Broccoli has urged fans and the media to stop speculating about the next 007, insisting she won’t be naming names until after Daniel Craig’s final outing as the spy is in cinemas next Easter (2021).
The actor has made it clear that “No Time to Die” will be his last Bond film and bookmakers are taking serious bets on who will replace him, with Tom Hardy emerging as a favourite.
Insiders suggested the Bond producers were just weeks away from confirming Hardy as Craig’s successor when “No Time to Die” was yanked from a November release due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis and pushed to April, and now Broccoli tells Total Film she won’t be confirming any casting details until the new film is in cinemas.
“I always say, ‘You can only be in love with one person at a time’,” she explains. “Once the film’s come out, then some time will pass, and then we’ll have to get on to the business of the future. But for now, we just cannot think about anything beyond Daniel.”

      See also…

“It (Bond film) will have to be reimagined, in the way each actor has reimagined the role. That’s what is so exciting and fun about this franchise; the character evolves. Eventually, when we have to think about it, we’ll find the right person.”
And it appears the producer is open to Bond being a person of colour – like Idris Elba, who is another fan favourite for the role.
“He doesn’t need to be a white man,” she adds. “Not as far as I’m concerned.”
But she won’t be making a film with Bond reimagined as a woman, stating, “We should create roles for women, not just turn a man into a woman.”
In a new JustJared poll, “Outlander” star Sam Heughan, who previously auditioned to play 007, beat out Tom Hiddleston as the favourite to land the superspy role, with Welshman Luke Evans coming in third.

  • 'KUWTK': Corey Gamble Dubs Kendall Jenner 'A**hole' and 'Rude' Following Kylie Jenner Fight

    WENN/FayesVision/Instar

With how things are going between her daughters and boyfriend, Kris Jenner is left stuck in the middle as she says, ‘I don’t like being put in the middle between my girls and Corey. It just feels really uncomfortable.’
    Oct 16, 2020
AceShowbiz – The aftermath of the drama between Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner and Kris Jenner’s boyfriend Corey Gamble was shown in a new episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”, which aired on Thursday, October 15. In the new outing, Khloe Kardashian alluded that Corey made things more complicated by taking sides.
“There was already tension when the night started. There was tension at dinner,” Khloe told Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian. “It was building up and building up and I think it just boiled over, and that’s what happened. I think it just sucks for everybody. Sisters can get over it — I don’t know if you’re not a sister how easy that is to get over it.”
“I just feel bad that mom’s in the middle,” the 36-year-old mom of one continued, referring to Kris. “I really do. I couldn’t imagine feeling like that. It just sucks.”
Meanwhile, Kylie told her mom that she hasn’t reached out to her sister Kendall since the argument which took place during the family trip to Palm Springs. “I think she thinks she’s right in the situation and I think I’m right in this situation so I don’t know,” the Kylie Lip Kit founder said. “I think that the whole night got blown out of control, and it was a lot. I think that there was a lot of miscommunication. I just feel bad because we’re both very upset, and things just got very out of hand.”
Kendall apparently called Corey to patch things up before she eventually comes to Kylie. However, instead of working things out, the two were involved in another fight as Kendall still accused him of yelling and cursing at her that night. “That’s between y’all. You keep grouping us up like it’s us against you,” Corey told Kendall. To that, Kendall responded, “You’re 100 percent in the fight. You said, ‘f**k you,’ to my face. You can’t even say, ‘I’m sorry.’ ”

      See also…

“Of course Corey is going to try and deflect from saying ‘f**k you’ to me by putting it all on my and Kylie,” Kendall continued in confessional. “He doesn’t want to be on bad terms with my mom.”
Things took a nasty turn with Corey slamming Kendall for being “a rude person for years.” He continued blasting the supermodel, “You’re an a**hole when you feel like it, you get riled up for no reason. I’m about to tell you the truth about how you are. You don’t apologize for nothing.”
Kendall unsurprisingly took offense of what Corey said about her as she fired back, “You don’t even know me. Just because I don’t kiss your a** doesn’t mean I’m an a**hole. I just don’t f**k with you. The fact that I can’t even get an apology.” In a confessional, Kendall insisted that Corey was in the wrong in the situation and expected him to apologize to her.
With how things were going, Kris was left stuck in the middle between her daughters and her bofriend. “I still feel really bad about what happened,” Kris admitted. “I feel really bad for Kendall that she’s so upset. I don’t like being put in the middle between my girls and Corey. It just feels really uncomfortable.”
Kendall and Kylie had a wild fight after Kylie refused to drive Kendall home. When Corey suggested them to call another car for Kendall as they stopped at a gas station, the latter exploded and said, “Corey, I’m not getting in a f***ing random SUV by myself.” After a shouting match, Kylie and Corey left Kendall alone at a gas station. Her other sisters and mom Kris then fetched her, who was sobbing as she got into the car.
