    The original cast member of ‘Charmed’ fires back at Sarah Jeffery for making ‘derogatory accusations of a person’s character’ just because of ‘a difference in opinions about a tv show.’

    AceShowbiz – Holly Marie Combs has hit back at “Charmed” reboot actress Sarah Jeffery for the “derogatory” remarks she made about her “character.”
    The drama began during a recent TikTok event, when Rose McGowan – who starred alongside Holly and Alyssa Milano in the show about three witch sisters – took aim at the CW reboot, “The Charmed Ones”, which stars Sarah as Maggie Vega.
    Rose’s comments that the revival “sucks” while Holly failed to hold back her laughter, prompting Sarah to slam the actresses for their behaviour as she wrote on Twitter, “You know, I saw this earlier and I refrained from saying anything. I thought, better to just let them shout into the abyss. But I do want to say, I find it sad and quite frankly pathetic to see grown women behaving this way.”
    “I truly hope they find happiness elsewhere, and not in the form of putting down other WOC (women of colour). I would be embarrassed to behave this way. Peace and love to y’all.”

    Holly then responded via her own Twitter page although she didn’t refer to Sarah by name.
    Instead, she wrote, “That’s some bulls**t. And a lot of it. Clearly. People speaking, excuse me typing, derogatory accusations of a person’s character despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary because of a difference in opinions about a tv show is just plain wrong.”
    “And also personal gain honey,” Holly concluded, referring to the fact that the sisters in “Charmed” were prevented from casting any spell that was for their own personal gain.
    Sarah has yet to respond to Holly’s latest tweet.

    AceShowbiz – Producers of “The Walking Dead” have recruited a former military infectious diseases specialist to make sure cast and crew are safe on set.
    Production is about to resume following the COVID-19 shutdown, and executive producer Angela Kang has advised no one is taking any chances behind or in front of the cameras.
    “It was a months long process before going into season 11… to get everything all up and running and safe,” she explains. “All the unions that represent the actors, directors, and the crew came together and were consulting with expert epidemiologists about what’s the safest way to do this.”
    “When everybody comes back to set to film it’s gonna be a completely different situation. Everyone will have masks and face shields, they’ve done the trailers differently, there’s sanitation stations everywhere. There’s UV lights and air scrubbers on the stages.”

    “There’s a former military infectious diseases specialist, who is our safety supervisor. It’s an abundance of caution in every way. We’ve had to think a lot about how do we tell the story so that they’re satisfying and give adventure, but be really creative about how many people we can have in a scene (sic). How can you show things while keeping people a little bit distant when we can.”
    “It’s forced us to think outside of the box, because we’ve had a box around us in terms of how to do it safely, but I think we are taking it so seriously.”
    The star of the TV drama, Norman Reedus, is welcoming the changes, adding sarcastically, “I’m gonna miss all that Walker breath in my face!” – referring to the zombies he fights on the show.

    AceShowbiz – Kevin Hart is thrilled he and Will Smith finally found the right film to collaborate on with the “Planes, Trains & Automobiles” remake.
    The actor can’t wait to join Smith for their take on the 1987 comedy and reveals teaming with the screen icon has been a long time coming after they struggled to find the perfect project to work on.
    “Me and Will have been talking about doing a movie for the longest time and we just (couldn’t) put our finger on what that movie was,” Hart told Entertainment Tonight. “So, for us to get to a point where we agree that said material was our project – because our personalities not only fit, but we could really pop in this situation – it was just a no-brainer.”
    Hart also shared his excitement over developing a new version of the comedy classic, which originally starred Steve Martin and the late John Candy.
    “Remaking this movie is something we are excited about,” he continued. “We can’t wait to do it. The studio’s happy and it’s about rolling my sleeves up and getting the script to where it’s supposed to be.”

    Hart first shared news of the project last month (August) via Instagram.
    “I’ve been patiently waiting for the right project to team up with my brother with,” he wrote alongside a screenshot of the report from Deadline.

    Hart and Smith may be joined by another big name for the reboot, too – Kevin Bacon, who had a quick cameo in the original, is eager to join the pair.
    “They haven’t called me, but I’m gonna call them!” Bacon told Britain’s NME website. “To me, that is the greatest idea. I’m not really in ‘Planes, Trains and Automobiles’. I don’t think of it as my movie at all. But yeah, I would love to be in that.”

    AceShowbiz – Warner Bros. is gearing up for a new “Mad Max” film by signing an actress in the lead role. After “Mad Max: Fury Road” director George Miller expressed his interest in casting Anya Taylor-Joy for the title role in “Furiosa”, the studio has officially tapped the actress to portray the young version of Charlize Theron’s character in the upcoming standalone movie.
    Taylor-Joy isn’t the only actor attached to the project as Chris Hemsworth and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II have also been cast to star in the spin-off film. Their roles are not immediately announced, but it was previously reported that Hemsworth was circling a role called Dementus.
    The idea of “Furiosa” was first developed from Miller and “Fury Road” co-writer Nick Lathouris’ extensive backstory for the heroine that they wrote during the years they were working on “Fury Road”. “It was purely a way of helping Charlize and explaining it to ourselves,” he revealed back in May.
    They found Furiosa’s story so compelling that they decided to write a second screenplay even before a frame of “Fury Road” had been shot. After being locked in a legal battle for years, Miller has been finally given the go-ahead to proceed.

    He also explained the decision to recast the role with a younger actress, “For the longest time, I thought we could just use CG de-aging on Charlize, but I don’t think we’re nearly there yet.” Theron, meanwhile, admitted the decision was “a tough one to swallow,” but she had nothing but respect for Miller and added, “He’s a master, and I wish him nothing but the best.”
    “Furiosa” was supposed to start shooting this spring, but it was delayed after coronavirus pandemic shut down all Hollywood productions. Miller will return to direct the movie and produce with his longtime Oscar-nominated producing partner Doug Mitchell.
    Taylor-Joy garnered critical acclaim through her role in M. Night Shyamalan’s psychological horror film “Split” (2016) and its sequel “Glass” (2019). She recently starred in X-Men film “The New Mutants” and will be seen in Netflix’s miniseries “The Queen’s Gambit”.
    Hemsworth is best known for his Marvel character Thor, which he last portrayed for the 2019 blockbuster “Avengers: Endgame”. He also led the cast of Netflix’s hit action thriller “Extraction” and is expected to return for its planned sequel.
    As for Abdul-Mateen, he’s fresh off winning his Emmy Award for HBO’s series “Watchmen” on which he plays Cal Abar/Doctor Manhattan. He will also appear in the new “Candyman” movie, “The Trial of the Chicago 7”, and “The Matrix 4”.

    The defiant “Little Women (2019)” star refused to starve herself or spend hours and hours at the gym to portray Russian spy Yelena Belova in the new Marvel movie, so she told movie bosses she would take care of her own work-outs and diet, promising them she’d look good kicking butt in the film.
    “When you think of Marvel, it’s big and daunting, especially (for) a relatively small actor,” she tells Elle Canada. “To look at it and go, ‘Oh, I’m going to be a part of this!’ – that’s a big decision… Essentially, you need to look good moving.”
    “For me, I loved all of that because I grew up with a lot of dance and a lot of movement. I was always fighting my brother, so I find all of that combat stuff so exciting. Once you put it on camera, you’ve got to know how to make it look right, and that’s a whole different beast.”

    “I remember her asking, ‘Why are you cooking for yourself? Just let us feed you!’ I was like, ‘Nope. My brain is so pew, pew, pew!’ Genuinely, my therapeutic thing is chopping and cooking and stirring and tasting.”

    Now, the show is set to return later this month (Oct20), with Caitlyn, JoJo, ex-“Glee” star Kevin McHale, British singer Stefflon Don, “Selling Sunset” ‘s Christine Quinn, The Vamps rocker Bradley Simpson, “RuPaul’s Drag Race” star Alyssa Edwards, and British reality star Gemma Collins among the famous names taking part.
    Announcing the new series in a statement to Variety, ViacomCBS executive Craig Orr says, “As we spend more time at home this year, our fascination with where and how others live is growing.”
    “MTV Cribs continues to connect our worldwide audiences with their favourite stars as they welcome us into their homes for an exclusive tour. This is pure property porn escapism at its most fabulous.”

    Caitlyn’s episode will include a close up look at her Malibu mansion, as well as some of her favourite wardrobe pieces.
    MTV Cribs will debut on the music network’s international channels on 26 October.
    Following her divorce from Kris Jenner, Caitlyn has taken a step back from the family’s reality TV show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” although she still makes a guest appearance. She got her own show “I Am Cait” but it was called off after two seasons.
    She made a cameo appearance as herself on “Transparent” in 2016 and competed on “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” in 2019.

    'The Crown' Season 4 Trailer Centers on Prince Charles and Princess Diana's 'Fairy Tale'

    AceShowbiz – “The Crown” has released a new trailer for upcoming season 4 for viewing pleasure. The new footage, which arrived on Tuesday, October 13, puts Prince Charles (Josh O’Connor) and Princess Diana (Emma Corrin)’s tragic love story in the spotlight as it also offers a glimpse of their royal wedding.
    “Here is the stuff of which fairy tales are made – a prince and princess on their wedding day,” the trailer’s narration says as the scene of Prince Charles happily dancing with Princess Diana flickers on screen. “But fairy tales usually end at this point, with the simple phrase, ‘They lived happily ever after.’ ”
    “As husband and wife live out their vows, loving and cherishing one another — sharing life’s splendors and miseries, achievements and setbacks– they will be transformed in the process. Our faith sees the wedding day not as the place of arrival, but the place where the adventure really begins,” the narrator continues.

    The trailer also offers the first footage of Gillian Anderson’s Margaret Thatcher, Britain’s first female Prime Minister. Tension can be seen building between Thatcher and Queen Elizabeth (Olivia Colman) as there’s a power division in the royal family.
    Concluding the trailer, Princess Diana is featured wearing her wedding dress. Netflix reveals that costume designer Amy Roberts modeled Diana’s wedding dress after the original but “wanted to create something that wasn’t an exact replica.”
    Season 4 of “The Crown” will follow on the heels of season 3’s plot, which ended around the late ’70s on Queen Elizabeth’s 25th year as the United Kingdom’s sovereign leader. A primary focus will be how the Queen and her family are preoccupied with the line of succession and therefore securing an “appropriate” bride for Prince Charles. Thus, the season will chronicle Charles’ romance with a young Lady Diana Spencer, but while it is depicted as a fairy tale to unite the British people, it is anything but a fairy tale for the young woman herself.
    “The Crown” season 4 will premiere on November 15 on Netflix.

    AceShowbiz – “The Bachelorette” has finally returned with a new season featuring Clare Crawley as the leading lady. Airing on Tuesday, October 13, the first episode of season 16 kicked off with host Chris Harrison explaining the COVID-compliance measures before the filming for the new season took place in a Palm Springs resort.
    The first one of the 31 men to arrive was Army Ranger Ben. Attorney Riley then followed him up and told Clare that she looked amazing. Meanwhile, Zac, addiction specialist, insisted a hug from Clare. Serving a memorable entrance was Jason, a former pro football player, who showed up looking eight months pregnant to pay homage to how she arrived when she was on the “Bachelorette”.
    Ivan, an engineer, later arrived and praised her in his mother’s native language. Roofer Brendon looked super nervous meeting the Bachelorette while boy band manager Kenny was wearing a shirt with photos of her dogs on it. Mike, who works in digital media, was being so sweet as he brought her sandals for when her feet got tired.
    Clare became super excited when Chris Dale, who was rumored to be the reason why Clare exits the show early, arrived. “I knew it,” she said after their first meeting. “I definitely feel like I just met my husband. Oh my God. I’m shaking.”
    Later during the cocktail party, Clare greeted the men and told them that they looked amazing. She had a good conversation with them before she ended up having an intimate moment with Chris Dale. She opened up to him about her mother who has Alzheimer. She felt connected well to Chris Dale, saying that she had huge butterflies because of him.

    “Everything just feels so natural with Dale,” she gushed in a confessional. “There’s those butterflies and nervousness…but that’s just because I like him! I know what I’m looking for and I’m big on energy and vibes.”
    Meanwhile, the tension between the men was high when Tyler C decided to expose Yosef. He said Yosef was being reckless on Instagram and flirting with girls. He alleged that Yosef wasn’t here for the right reason. Yosef denied the allegations and pulled Clare aside to convince her that he’s being honest.
    Clare then confronted the two men. Tyler C said that a girl DM-ed him, saying that Yosef was flirting with her and sending her videos during quarantine. Yosef denied it and Clare alluded she needed to continue chatting with them.
    She then had a moment with Blake Moynes, who contacted her outside the show before the filming. Clare told Blake that she really appreciated that he took that risk and she kissed him. As for the first impression rose, she presented it to Chris Dale. She told him that even after she talked with other men, she wanted to continue talking to him. She kissed him repeatedly, and Chris Dale reciprocated the feelings.
    “To have this first impression rose and just know that I’m going to be able to spend some more time with Clare…that’s huge,” Chris Dale expressed in a confessional. “Even though it was in one night, we connected on so many different levels. I would love to just sit and talk with her for a couple more hours. Clare’s on my mind — let me just say that.”
    It was finally time for Rose Ceremony. After much consideration, Clare gave out her roses to Blake, Eazy, Ben, Riley, Zach J., Tyler S., Joe, Jason, Demar, Chasen, Jordan C., Blake Monar, Kenny, Brandon, Garin, Ed, Bennett, Zac C., Jay, Brendon, Ivan and Yosef.
