    Bravo

The former ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star also discusses her feud with Andy Cohen, admitting that she hopes to be working on their relationship with the Bravo executive producer in the future.
    Oct 2, 2020
AceShowbiz – NeNe Leakes has shared more details about her departure from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” ahead of season 13. Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, the reality TV star detailed on Thursday, October 1 why she made the shocking decision.
“I left the show,” NeNe shared. “I had an offer on the table. I did not think the offer was a fair offer.” When asked if she’s open to return to the Bravo show, NeNe appeared to shut down the possibility. “I wish them all the best, really, I do. But I don’t think that’s the place for me,” she responded.
In the new interview, NeNe also discussed her feud with “RHOA” executive producer Andy Cohen. “Well, I thought that we had a relationship and a great relationship. But maybe we didn’t. I don’t know,” she admitted. “You know, you don’t turn off your feelings for someone because you had an argument.”
She continued, “I’ve always loved Andy like he was a family member of mine. I worked with him for a very long time so I have a lot of love for him, so, you know, you can’t just turn your feelings off because you had an argument.”
Despite the current tension, the 52-year-old expressed her hopes in working on their relationship with Andy in the future. “I mean, again, I consider him to be like family, families argue. Families fight. Families come back together,” she divulged. “I have nothing but love for him and I’m certain that we will talk. We just texted right after that happened.”

She later admitted to struggling amid the drama surrounding her exit. “It is heavy,” she said. “It’s public and it’s heavy. But, I’m gonna be fine. It’s just a lot. You know, I’m gonna get through it.”
On Saturday, NeNe accused Bravo of forcing her out of the series. “Nene! Can @BravoTV give you the spinoff you deserve? #LifeOfLeakes #RHOA #Bravo #WWHL,” one fan asked her on Twitter. To the question, NeNe responded, “They don’t think i deserve to work at all in any compactly.”
Another fan later chimed in, writing, “@NeNeLeakes that’s Maliki it sound like they forced you out! Is that the story you want out there. ‘They didn’t want u to work in any capacity?’ ” NeNe confirmed, “They definitely did.”
NeNe announced her departure from “RHOA” in a video on her YouTube channel on Thursday, September 17. “I have been on an extremely, extremely long, exhausting, tiring, emotional negotiation,” she shared. “There’s been a lot of emotion flying from both sides. It has been hard, and I have made the very hard and very difficult decision to not be a part of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ season 13. It wasn’t an easy decision for me. It was hard.”
“I’m just so happy that I can say that I was a part of a genre that opened up doors for black ensemble reality shows,” NeNe, who is among the OG Housewives of the show that premiered in 2008, continued.

  • Delta Goodrem Fuels Rumors of 'The Voice Australia' Firing

    WENN

The ‘Wings’ singer adds fuel to the rumors that she is leaving ‘The Voice Australia’ as she claims that she ‘genuinely doesn’t know what the next chapter is.’
    Oct 2, 2020
AceShowbiz – Delta Goodrem has failed to deny rumours she’s been axed from “The Voice Australia” amid speculation that the show’s only original coach is set to step away from her iconic red chair.
The “Solid Gold” star’s future on the show’s coaching panel has been in question since Australia’s Channel Seven acquired the franchise from Nine earlier this year (20).
During an appearance on “The Kyle And Jackie O Show” on Thursday (01Oct20), Goodrem, who joined “The Voice” nine years ago, confessed, “I genuinely don’t know what the next chapter is.”
Hinting that her future on the show is still undecided, Delta continued, “Every season, at the end of (The Voice), I take stock of the year. I go, ‘How do I feel as an artist about this next chapter? What do I want for my next chapter?’ ”

She added, “I’m truly taking it step by step (this year).”
However, later in the interview, Delta suggested that she may indeed have departed the franchise by insisting that she’s currently enjoying focusing on her own creative pursuits.
“I’m really loving making my own music,” the “ost Without You” hitmaker, who is set to release a new album before the end of 2020, explained. “There’s so many layers to every decision I ever make, I’ve been in the industry my whole life.”
Her comments come amid reports of a “salary conflict” with network officials, with The Daily Telegraph newspaper also reporting that bosses at Channel Seven are set to axe coaches Boy George and Kelly Rowland as part of a cost-cutting measure.
Local stars Lorde and The Veronicas are among those who have been rumoured to be joining the programme.

  • Harry Styles in the Running for Steve Nicks' 'Rhiannon' Mini-Series

The ‘Watermelon Sugar’ hitmaker is being courted by the Fleetwood Mac frontwoman to play one of the lead roles in her passion project inspired by her classic hit.
    Oct 2, 2020
AceShowbiz – Stevie Nicks has finally inked a deal to bring her long-awaited “Rhiannon” mini-series to screens – and she’s already settled on Harry Styles for a starring role.
The Fleetwood Mac frontwoman has had hopes of making a movie about the Celtic deity Rhiannon ever since a fan sent her four novels on the folklore following the release of her 1975 classic hit, “Rhiannon”.
She later obtained the rights to author Evangeline Walton’s adaptation of the ancient Mabinogion and, speaking to the Los Angeles Times, she teases further details of the project.
The mini-series, she says, will feature 10 unreleased songs written by Nicks, with former One Direction star Styles “definitely in the running” to star in the show.

“I’m going, ‘Harry, you cannot age one day. You have to stay exactly as you are.’ I’ve already sold him on it,” she laughs.
Nicks and Styles are close pals – he invited the rocker and a group of her pals to his home for a playback of his second album “Fine Line” ahead of its release, and she later joined him onstage at The Forum in Los Angeles for his “Fine Line” album release show.
“(It was) a huge thrill, because he made a choice to be a rock ‘n’ roll star and not a pop star,” she reflects. “That was a risk for a guy from a boy band. That was like Fleetwood Mac doing Tusk after Rumours. I was very proud of him.”
While details of the project are still scarce, Nicks revealed she had been recording music for the project based on a collection of poetry she’s amassed over the last 30 years.

  • Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Reach Out to 'Britain's Got Talent' Judge Amid BLM Dance Controversy

    WENN

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have personally called Ashley Banjo to support him as he was flooded with complaints following his Black Lives Matter performance.
    Oct 2, 2020
AceShowbiz – Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex have backed “Britain’s Got Talent” judge Ashley Banjo after a Black Lives Matter dance he performed prompted more than 25,000 complaints.
The dance troupe leader, 31, whose Diversity group won Simon Cowell’s TV talent contest in 2009, choreographed the routine dedicated to the anti-racism movement on the programme last month (Sep20).
It featured Ashley taking the knee, as well as ‘police officers’ kneeling on a dancer – a reference to the death of George Floyd at the hands of police in Minneapolis, Minnesota in May, which sparked global protests.
In the weeks after the broadcast, more than 25,000 people complained to U.K. TV regulator Ofcom, but officials declined to investigate, believing there was no case to answer.
Speaking to Britain’s Evening Standard newspaper, Harry revealed he and Meghan have personally called the dancer and talent show judge to offer their support.

“We spoke to Ashley Banjo a few weeks ago, straight after the Britain’s Got Talent situation,” he said. “And that in itself, I am sure even me talking about it will be controversial, but the reality of it is he and his team of guys put on the most amazing display.”
“We had such a good chat with Ashley. He was really strong, he felt great about it, but at the same time he was concerned because of the reaction. It was a real surprise that there was what? 1,100 complaints after the show and then three days of hype it became 20 or 25,000.”
“I am very glad Ofcom made the decision that they did but that in itself kind of proves how much this conversation needs to continue.”
In the wide-ranging interview launching a list of new Black “trailblazers” to mark Britain’s Black History Month, Harry also spoke about how he has had an “awakening” about racism since marrying his wife, who is mixed race, back in 2018.
“I wasn’t aware of so many of the issues and so many of the problems within the U.K. and also globally as well,” he explains. “I thought I did but I didn’t.”

  • Kid Cudi Taken Aback Having to Play Donald Trump Supporter on 'We Are Who We Are'

    Instagram/WENN/Becher

Aside from talking about his portrayal of Richard Poythress in the Luca Guadagnino-created series, the ‘Day ‘n’ Nite’ hitmaker opens up about his longtime friendship with Kanye West.
    Oct 1, 2020
AceShowbiz – Rapper/actor Kid Cudi was unsure about portraying a supporter of controversial U.S. President Donald Trump on TV because he worried fans would mistake him for a real-life Republican.
The “Day ‘n’ Nite” hitmaker stars in “Call Me by Your Name” director Luca Guadagnino’s new series, “We Are Who We Are”, a coming-of-age drama about two American kids growing up on a fictional U.S. military base in Italy in 2016.
However, he had concerns about one particular scene early on On the series, as his character, Richard Poythress, the strong-willed officer father of one of the protagonists, excitedly unwraps a package containing two red caps bearing Trump’s 2016 campaign slogan, Make America Great Again.
“I read the scripts and at first I was taken aback, because I have my beliefs,” Cudi told Esquire magazine of the storyline. “I’m not a Trump supporter. I don’t know if the world knows that, but I was just really concerned about what people may think.”
“I talked to Luca and it all made sense to me at the end of the day,” he continued of understanding the importance of the father/daughter bonding scene. “Look, it’s a character I’m playing and I was fully invested in that, you know?”

      See also…

“At the end of the day, I hope that people can accept that for what it is, and not go and be like, ‘Oh, s**t, Cudi’s a Trump supporter now – he’s wearing a MAGA hat.'”

Cudi also feared his longtime friendship with former mentor and frequent collaborator Kanye West would make viewers think he really was a fan of Trump, as Kim Kardashian’s outspoken husband hasn’t been shy in his praise for the real estate mogul-turned-world leader, who is known for making racist, xenophobic, and/or misogynistic remarks.
“I thought some people would be foolish about it and be like, ‘Oh, he must’ve talked to Kanye’ or ‘Kanye must’ve got to him’ or some s**t like that,” Cudi explained of their relationship. “I think he knows where I stand (politically), and I think he doesn’t bring it up to me. We just don’t talk about it. I totally disagree with it; I think he knows that. And if he doesn’t know, he knows now.”
However, just because they don’t see eye-to-eye on politics doesn’t mean the “Westworld” actor isn’t still close with Kanye, who is actually running for the White House himself this year.
“That’s my brother. I’ll go on record: That’s my brother. I love him,” Cudi stated. “But that doesn’t mean I’m going to agree with everything he f**king says and he f**king does, you know?”

Tatiana’s character, Jennifer Walters a.k.a. She-Hulk, is described as an attorney and cousin of Bruce Banner (The Hulk), on the forthcoming TV series. She gains her own unique Hulk powers after getting a blood transfusion from Bruce. However, unlike Bruce, Jennifer is able to maintain her personality when she hulks out, though Bruce is eventually able to do so in “Avengers: Endgame”.
The two series join other six TV shows that Marvel Studios is currently developing for Disney+. “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” was initially scheduled to debut in August, but its date is delayed indefinitely after production was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The production for the series had resumed a few weeks ago with actress Emily VanCamp, who reprises her role as Sharon Carter, revealing that she has wrapped filming on the series.
