AceShowbiz – Keith Urban and Kylie Minogue are reportedly being eyed for a spot on “The Voice” Australia panel, as producers plot a judging shake-up for the 2021 edition.
Executives of the singing series, which features Guy Sebastian and Delta Goodrem as coaches, are apparently planning to replace American singer Kelly Rowland and British icon Boy George with Australian stars Keith and Kylie.
According to New Idea, a drop in ratings and issues relating to COVID-19 have plagued the current series, with Kelly and George forced to mentor their contestants virtually amid the pandemic, as they remain at home overseas.
An insider added, “I think they will try and reinvent themselves with two new Aussie judges and use ‘All Aussie Voice’ as a tagline for 2021.”

Meanwhile, “Can’t Get You Out of My Head” hitmaker Kylie, 52, has also had experience on the show, serving as a judge on season three of “The Voice UK”, and replacing Delta during her one-season hiatus in 2014.

    KPLR-TV

The TV personality has taken to her Instagram account to share with her followers that she’s leaving the morning talk show while addressing the news of the discovery of Naya Rivera’s body at Lake Piru.
    Jul 14, 2020
AceShowbiz – Tamera Mowry broke fans’ heart with her new announcement. The TV personality took to her Instagram account on Monday, July 13 to reveal that she’s leaving “The Real” while addressing the news of the discovery of Naya Rivera’s body at Lake Piru.
“For seven years, my home and heart has been at The Real. The friendships I’ve made there will last a lifetime, and the people that I’ve been blessed to interview have changed my life for the better,” Tamera wrote in her message, even though she explained in the caption that she actually “had NO intention to talk about this today, especially in light of the news of my dear friend Naya, but now some reports are coming out and I’d rather you hear it from me first.”
“I’m so proud of what all the ladies and I have accomplished there, including two well-deserved NAACP Image Awards and a Daytime Emmy,” she went on. “However, all good things must come to an end, and it’s with a bittersweet smile that I announce that I am moving on from The Real.”
Sending message to her “fellow hosts” Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love and Jeannie Mai, Tamera wrote, “I love you, I will miss you, and I will always be there for you. Thank you for teaching me, supporting me, and loving all for me. Sisters forever. I’ll be rooting for you, as I look forward to spending more time with my family, pursuing amazing new opportunities, and embarking on the next chapter of my life.”

Prior to this, Amanda Seales departed from the morning talk show. “My contract is up at ‘The Real’ and I didn’t renew it, because it doesn’t feel good to my soul to be at a place where I can not, speak to my people the way they need to be spoken to. And where the people that are speaking to me in despairing ways are not being handled,” she explained her exit on Tuesday, June 2.
She went on saying, “I’m not at a space where as a full black woman I can have my voice and my co-workers also have their voices and where the people at the top are not respecting the necessity for black voices to be at the top too.”

  • Oliver Stone Deems Donald Trump 'Fascinating Dramatic Character' for a Movie

    WENN

While sharing his thought on him doing a movie about the 45th president, the ‘Platoon’ filmmaker insists that he does not see the novel coronavirus as an existential threat to the world.
    Jul 14, 2020
AceShowbiz – Oliver Stone is considering making a movie about U.S. President Donald Trump.
The “Platoon” filmmaker previously took another much maligned American leader, George W. Bush, to task on screen in 2008’s “W.” – and feels Trump would be an even more fascinating protagonist for a film.
“There’s nothing that could quite capture this fellow,” he tells British newspaper The Sunday Times. “He’s quite a whirlwind, a fascinating dramatic character. Shakespearean too, in the sense that he’s so emotional – at times he creates a storm, almost purposely every day, to keep the energy going. He creates a storm inside himself. He’s King Lear in a strange way too – which daughter loves me more?”
Although Trump has faced heavy criticism for his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic – with the country one of the worst affected in the world – Stone is unbothered by the virus, saying the real crisis is another issue the President has expressed scepticism about – climate change.
“The virus seems to me the ongoing business of history. It’s just… there’s so many viruses,” he adds. “I don’t see it as an existential threat to the world. It’s more of a mood thing. No, I think the real issue is global warming.”

  • Luke Evans Claims Episodes of 'Beauty and the Beast' Spin-Off Series Have Been Written

    Walt Disney Pictures

Speaking about the Disney+ show about Gaston and Le Fou, the ‘Murder Mystery’ actor gushes that he and co-star Josh Gad are ‘literally vibrating with excitement to shoot it.’
    Jul 14, 2020
AceShowbiz – Luke Evans is excited for filming to get underway on his forthcoming “Beauty and the Beast (2017)” spin-off series.
News first broke about the show, centred on Evans’ Gaston and Josh Gad’s Le Fou, earlier this year (20), with the six-part series to air on Disney+.
Speaking to Collider, the actor opened up on what fans can expect to see in the show, and confirmed that songs from Alan Menken, who composed “Beauty and the Beast”‘s score, would be included.
“We’re in fully fledged development,” he shared. “The second and third episodes have been written and we’ve heard some of the music by Alan Menken. We’re just so honoured to have him on board, writing the music, which is extraordinary, in itself.”
He added: “We feel so lucky to have this talented group of people creating a story about two much loved and much hated characters, but that’s the excitement.”
“There are a lot of questions about, where we will start? What we will tell? Who are these people? When you visit them, where will they be? So, it’s going to be a really fun experience. Me and Josh are literally vibrating with excitement to shoot it.”
The star also opened up about how he and Gad came up with the concept for the series, explaining: “Even when we were working on Beauty and the Beast… we were talking about what we could do and wanting to find another project. We’ve been searching, for the last several years, projects and scripts and ideas and concept.”
“In the back of our minds, we definitely had thoughts about revisiting Gaston and LeFou in a different story, obviously,” he added. “And when we pitched the idea to Disney+, they were very excited about it.”

“Just informed @DancingABC will be continuing without me,” he wrote to his followers without elaborating the shocking decision. “It’s been an incredible 15 year run and the most unexpected gift of my career. I’m grateful for that and for the lifelong friendships made. That said, now what am I supposed to do with all of these glitter masks?”

Tom Bergeron announced his exit from ‘DWTS’ on Twitter.
Later, ABC issued a statement of its own, confirming Tom’s departure from the show. “Tom Bergeron will forever be part of the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ family. As we embark on a new creative direction, he departs the show with our sincerest thanks and gratitude for his trademark wit and charm that helped make this show a success,” read the statement.
The “America’s Funniest Home Videos” host is not the only one who is let go from the long-running competition show as the network also revealed that Erin Drews would not be returning for the new season of “Dancing with the Stars”. The statement said, “Erin will also not be returning, and we appreciate all that she brought to the ballroom. Tom joined the show since its premiere in 2005. He has hosted the series with a variety of cohosts including Lisa Canning, Samantha Harris and Brooke Burke-Charvet. Meanwhile, sports journalist and ESPN sportscaster Erin joined as co-host in 2014.
There is still no detail about how “DWTS” will proceed amid coronavirus pandemic. However, one of the certain things about the new season is that “The Bachelor” alum Kaitlyn Bristowe will appear on the show.
