    AceShowbiz – NeNe Leakes is feuding with “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-star Kandi Burruss after having a tense moment in part 1 of season 12 reunion. Now, NeNe addressed the matter in an interview with “The Breakfast Club” on Tuesday, May 12, claiming that Kandi “just wants to be number 1.”
    “What damage do I need to control? I didnt do anything, you guys watched the show, I sat there they said what they said I said what I said,” NeNe shared in the clip. “Kandi just wants to be number 1, you know she’s never been number one in anything that she’s done. So coming over here to my house she wants to be number one, this seat is not available yet. It’s available when I give it to her, she’s number two.”
    When asked how their feud began, NeNe claimed that “Kandi and I have never had an issue.” While she admitted that they “had our little issue years ago,” she added that they had decided to “let it go.”
    “So I did this YouTube show, I have a YouTube channel I’m sorry and I spoke on there about a situation that never involved her, I never called her names, imagine looking at a video and saying, ‘She’s talking about me,’ ” the 52-year-old said. “So basically that’s what she did, she looked at my video where was no names called and she said, ‘She’s talking about me’ and she just ran with it.”
    NeNe then said that she had made an attempt to end the feud with the Xscape singer. “Now I did with these girls say that you should do, if you and that person are cool, why can’t you call them up. So I said sure I’m going to call Kandi up. I sent Kandi some text messages, she started firing back at me in the text messsages. I said Kandi this is not about you, she continued to do it,” she explained.
    She added, “I texted her days later, texted her again and told her Kandi its not about you, she continued. So from that I knew she just wanted some smoke with me, she’s been boring for a while now, and so what better way to have somebody to call your name Kandi, is to put in line with Nene Leakes.”
    NeNe later was asked about who she was talking on her YouTube channel if it wasn’t Kandi, to which she replied, “Well if I wanted everybody to know then I would have said it right there on my channel, I’ve never been a person to hold back, I was speaking my mind about a situation, that just did not involve her. And I don’t feel like I needed to sit on camera and start calling people names, cause once you do that, it’s a whole bunch of drama right.”

    “So I didn’t call any names, I just said what I said. She just inserted herself as the person I was talking about, but see Kandi is no competition for me, if I was really going to talk about her, I would tell her, not only on camera, to her face,” she added.

    Hilary Duff and her former television co-stars have reunited online to raise funds for coronavirus relief efforts amid the ongoing health crisis in the United States.

    AceShowbiz – Actress Hilary Duff has surprised fans by reuniting with her “Lizzie McGuire co-stars online for the first time in “almost 18 years.”
    The star took to Instagram on Monday, May 11, 2020 to share video footage of the recent conference call, on which she was joined by Lalaine, Adam Lamberg, Hallie Todd, Robert Carradine, and Jake Thomas, among others, to raise funds for coronavirus relief efforts.
    The group kicked off the virtual get-together by belting out the Disney Channel show’s theme song, before staging a table read of the season one episode, “Between a Rock and a Bra Place”, as they encouraged viewers to consider donating to a few of their “favourite charities.”

    In the caption for the video, Duff wrote, “LIZZIE MCGUIRE retro table read!”
    “Some fun for you this Monday! Hope you guys have fun watching this! We could not stop laughing reading lines from tween us…this is the first time we were all ‘together-ish’ in almost 18 years! This week marks the 19th anniversary of this episode ‘Between a Rock and a Bra Place!’ ”
    Duff concluded the post by apologising for the out-of-sync theme tune singalong, adding, “Do excuse our delayed singing…we will be taking singing lessons as a group to work on our craft!!”
    The digital reunion comes months after progress on a planned “Lizzie McGuire” reboot ground to a halt as the show’s original creator, Terri Minsky, left the project in January amid creative differences with Disney bosses.
    Duff subsequently hinted the issue at the centre of the dispute had to do with the more grown-up themes of the revamped series, which she was fighting network bosses to keep “real and relatable.”
    The original “Lizzie McGuire” series aired from 2001 to 2004.

    AceShowbiz – Russell crowe’s new movie will serve as a test for the U.S. cinema industry when it becomes the first film officially released to theatres in July 2020 once the coronavirus shut down ends.
    Solstice Studios bosses have bumped up the release of thriller “Unhinged” to July 1, 2020 so they can be in theatres as soon as they re-open, in time for America’s 4 July holiday weekend.
    “When we green lit this film, I probably figured that July 4th weekend and Christmas would be the two least likely slots,” Solstice chairman/CEO Mark Gill tells Deadline. “We were sitting on September 4 and then COVID-19 happened, and A Quiet Place 2 moved out of its original slot and landed on our date. When you are in a speedboat and a giant ship is coming at you, you better move out of the way.”
    “We looked at the rest of the year, fall/winter and spring 2021. The release schedule was already crowded, and when you add all the films that have been delayed, it made it think that maybe we go sooner (sic).”
    Gill has the backing of NATO experts, “The first call was to John Fithian at NATO, whose organisation is in touch with state public services departments, and if they had said, ‘You can’t open theatres,’ we would have said forget it. We don’t want to do anything that isn’t safe and expert-guided.”
    Meanwhile, Solstice researchers have carried out a private poll of 1,000 movie fans and were encouraged by how many were planning to return to theatres as soon as they re-opened in America.
    “We thought maybe 40 per cent would say they were eager to return to the theatres, but we were surprised to see the number at 80 per cent,” Gill adds. “We became convinced that enough theatres will have been open for a couple of weeks, playing repertory and not new films… and from a business perspective, we see an opportunity to have a week or two of clear path before theatres get (blockbusters) Mulan and Tenet.”

    B. Simone had multiple times made public of her obsession with DaBaby. Last year, the businesswoman left some thirsty comments on the “Bop” hitmaker’s social media posts. She’s also photographed sporting a white traditional wedding dress complete with a veil while carrying a cardboard cut-out of DaBaby in a tux while attending Jess Hilarious’ Halloween party in Atlanta.
    The rapper/businesswoman additionally once declared that she was ready to be the step-mother of his two children. In December of 2019, she finally got a chance to snuggle up to the 28-year-old star at a club.
    Most recently, they refueled the speculation about possible romantic relationship between them with pictures of the two cozying up to each other, the “Intro” hitmaker has clarified that, in contrary to the rumors, they are not an item.
    The Cleveland rapper set things straight on the nature of his relationship with B. Simone by sharing a trailer of his upcoming music video for “Find My Way” which is starring the “Girls Cruise” cast member. “Stupid a** n***a lol, #MarketingGOAT,” he wrote in the caption, suggesting that the PDA pictures were just marketing ploy to drum up the release of his cinematic visuals.

    A new project that chronicles the former Las Vegas performance duo Siegfried Fischbacher and Roy Horn is in development to follow up ‘Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness’.

    AceShowbiz – The filmmakers behind Netflix’s hit series “Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness” are reportedly planning a new episode on magical duo Siegfried & Roy.
    The original “Tiger King” documentary series, which focused on the now incarcerated Oklahoma zoo owner Joe Exotic, was an unexpected hit with viewers during the coronavirus lockdown due to its eccentric subjects and tales of criminal intrigue.
    According to The Hollywood Reporter (THR), Dr. James Liu, a wildlife veterinarian and field biologist who worked on the series, reached out to the publication requesting contact information for Chris Lawrence, a former tiger handler for Siegfried & Roy’s Las Vegas show.
    During a call, Liu reportedly said work was underway on a follow-up episode under the “Tiger King” name, focusing on the 2003 onstage tiger mauling that left one half of “Siegfried & Roy”, Roy Horn, permanently injured.
    Lawrence was profiled in THR detailing his recollections of the infamous attack, disputing the magician’s “romanticised” claims about it and blaming Horn, who died last Friday, May 8, 2020 after contracting Covid-19, for handling errors leading to the terrifying incident.
    Horn survived the mauling, but it led to him and partner Siegfried Fischbacher ending their long-running Las Vegas act featuring white lions and tigers as it left him partially paralysed and unable to walk and talk until 2006.
    The new episode, which Liu told THR would be less sensationalist than the original series, will reportedly offer Lawrence the chance to respond to Fischbacher’s denial of his allegations that Horn bore some responsibility for the tiger attack.

    AceShowbiz – America Ferrera wasn’t able to “really enjoy” her “Ugly Betty” Emmy win in 2007 because “no one in the room thought I deserved it.”
    The 36-year-old actress became the first Latina woman to take home the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Betty Suarez in the hit U.S. TV show.
    However, reflecting on the historic moment during an interview on the “Armchair Expert” podcast with Dax Shepard, America admitted she can’t watch her win back because of the feelings she was having at the time.
    “When I won the Emmy, I can’t bring myself to watch that because the only thing I remember about being on that stage, accepting that Emmy, was the feeling that no one in the room thought I deserved it,” she said. “And that’s a shame.”
    The star continued, “(I was thinking) ‘She doesn’t really deserve that. What is she really doing in that role? That role is not interesting enough, it’s not dark enough, it’s not edgy enough.’ You know, all of the bulls**t. Which doesn’t enter your mind on its own.”
    “There were people in my life perpetuating those narratives and making me feel like I hadn’t earned this moment. When I look back at that time, my heart aches for that 22-year-old girl, who didn’t get to really enjoy those moments.”
    However, despite her feelings surrounding her Emmy win, America added that she “loved” playing Betty in the programme – which ran for four seasons between 2006 and 2010.
    “I just have a gut instinct that’s it’s going to speak so strongly to so many people, myself included, and to see that happen? That’s the best win ever,” she smiled. “It was maybe the hardest work I’ll ever do in my life but I loved it. The hoopla and the whirlwind that happened around it was challenging and exhausting. My whole life changed.”

    AceShowbiz – Robert Pattinson won’t be hitting the gym to play Batman as he wants to emulate movie legends of the past by having a more natural look.
    The “Twilight” star, 34, is the latest actor to take on the superhero role in Matt Reeves’ “The Batman”, which was being shot in London before the U.K.’s Covid-19 lockdown halted filming in March 2020.
    However, he unlike past incumbents like Christian Bale and Ben Affleck, he won’t use the extra time to bulk up his frame before shooting resumes.
    “I think if you’re working out all the time, you’re part of the problem,” he tells GQ magazine. “You set a precedent. No one was doing this in the ’70s. Even James Dean – he wasn’t exactly ripped.”
    According to the actor his co-star, Zoe Kravitz, who will play Catwoman”, has been keeping to a gruelling fitness plan but he is “barely doing anything.”
    He is, however, sticking to a diet given to him by producers – as it’s ensuring he eats correctly rather than keeping his own bizarre food choices.
    “I’m essentially on a meal plan for Batman,” Robert explains. “Thank God. I don’t know what I’d be doing other than that. But I mean, yeah, other than (that) – I can survive. I’ll have oatmeal with, like, vanilla protein powder on it.
    “And I will barely even mix it up. It’s extraordinarily easy. Like, I eat out of cans and stuff. I’ll literally put Tabasco inside a tuna can and just eat it out of the can.”
    “The Batman” hits cinemas in October 2021.

    AceShowbiz – James Cameron’s long-awaited “Avatar” sequel is still on track for a December 2021 release.
    The filmmaker has been shooting both “Avatar 2” and “Avatar 3” for the past few years, with the second instalment of the hit sci-fi franchise currently slated for a December 17, 2021 release.
    While the premiere date comes 12 years after the original movie debuted, Cameron has assured fans the film won’t be delayed amid the Covid-19 crisis.
    “I want to get back to work on Avatar 2, which right now we’re not allowed to do under state emergency laws or rules. So it’s all on hold right now,” he told Empire magazine.
    The filmmaker added that, just before everyone went into lockdown, he was getting set to “shoot down in New Zealand, so that got pushed,” adding, “We’re trying to get back to it as quick as we can.”
    “On the bright side, New Zealand seems to have been very effective in controlling the virus and their goal is not mitigation, but eradication, which they believe that they can do with aggressive contact tracing and testing,” the director explained.
    “So there’s a very good chance that our shoot might be delayed a couple of months, but we can still do it. So that’s good news.”
    He added that digital effects teams are continuing to work on the feature from home, further limiting any potential impact of the coronavirus crisis.
    Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, and Sigourney Weaver are all set to return for the new movie.
