'LHH' Star Sierra Gates Attacks and Grabs Karlie Redd's Hair in Heated Argument

    Instagram

This starts after Karlie fails to show up to Sierra’s court date to testify to vouch for her amid the latter’s legal trouble as she’s accused of attacking her ex-husband Shooter’s other pregnant baby mama.
    Mar 25, 2020
AceShowbiz – “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” season 9 opens with a thick tension between cast members Sierra Gates and Karlie Redd. Sierra was facing legal troubles after she was accused of attacking her ex-husband Shooter’s other pregnant baby mama while at the funeral of Shooter’s teenaged son last year. Karlie promised to testify on the court to defend her, but for some reasons Karlie didn’t show up to Sierra’s court date to testify on her behalf.
It appeared that her car was stuck in traffic when she was on the way to her co-star’s court date. However, someone tipped Sierra off that Karlie never had intentions to come and vouch for her. She confronted Karlie at her party and that ensued an altercation between the two with Karlie threatening to renege on her testimony.
“It’s not about you! This is about me!” Sierra yelled. Karlie then responded, “Keep that same energy because I know that you need me to be there.”
Sierra fired back, “I don’t need you to do a motherf***in’ thing! I got a great lawyer. I’mma keep that energy! Don’t ever think I need you, ’cause that’s where you got me f***ed up! I love you enough to not whoop yo’ a**! Karlie, get yo’ a** up out of here!…I got one case, I don’t wanna catch another one!”
They kept arguing and that only escalated when Sierra started to physically attack Karlie. She put her hand on Karlie’s face. Others were trying to separate them but at one point, Sierra grabbed a handful of Karlie’s hair.

Viewers seemingly were siding with Karlie on this case. “The problem is that Sierra heard sum he say, she say s**t and actually believed it. A real friend would’ve came and talked to their friend to get their side of the story,” an Instagram user said. One other commented, “Sierra did tooooo much. Karlie didnt deserve that.”
Meanwhile, someone believed that Sierra was highly likely to get another case with how her behaved. “So this is how you prove that you didn’t first throw punch at your ex bby mada ok. Let tbe judge see this before n see if you would have been freed of the charges,” another comment read.

Katy Perry Sends Supportive Words to 'American Idol' Hopeful Suffering Seizure

    ABC

The ‘Roar’ hitmaker tweets that Makayla Brownlee has nothing to be embarrassed about after being moved to tears watching the aspiring singer beautifully covered Kacey Musgraves’ ‘Rainbow’.
    Mar 25, 2020
AceShowbiz – “American Idol” judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie rushed to the aid of contestant Makayla Brownlee after she abruptly walked off stage and fell to the ground backstage during her Hollywood Week audition.
During Monday’s episode of the TV talent contest, the singer took the stage for her solo performance in front of the famous trio, but cut her performance short and swiftly left the stage.
After collapsing to the ground, Perry, Bryan and Richie ran over to see what was happening, at which point on-site medical personnel were attending to Brownlee, and ambulances were called as she began to have a seizure.
“In seventh grade, I was diagnosed with vasovagal syncope,” Brownlee explained of the long-term ailment that she’s been dealing with for years, in an interview shot after the incident. “It’s a heart condition that causes me to react to stress differently than other people, and it could cause a seizure.”
“She can’t control it. She’s embarrassed, but physically, she’s 100 percent all right,” her father added. “This opportunity is so important for her. I’d hate to see it inhibited in any way because she’s such a good singer. She works so hard at it.”
Although it was unclear whether or not Brownlee would be able to return to perform, she later made her triumphant return, much to the excitement of the judges.
“Let’s try this again,” a noticeably calmer Brownlee told the judges with a smile, as Perry supportively replied, “You got this!”

The aspiring star went on to wow the judges with a powerful performance of Kacey Musgraves’ “Rainbow”, with “Roar” star Perry reduced to tears as she explained that Brownlee’s condition really puts things in perspective when it comes to being stressed out or tired, as they put her through to the next round.
“Nothing to be embarrassed about, #MakaylaBrownlee. We all handle stress differently,” the pop star wrote on Twitter as the episode was broadcast. “That was the sweetest performance of ‘Rainbow’ #MakalylaBrownlee. So thrilled you were able to come back and sing for us and give us that perspective we need to be reminded of sometimes.”

    WENN/Avalon

In a new interview, the ‘Gone Girl’ star admits he doesn’t look for filming the Lana Wachowski-directed movie and being ‘disjointed as a family for months.’
    Mar 24, 2020
AceShowbiz – Neil Patrick Harris has found a silver lining in the coronavirus lockdown – he’s at home with his family instead of filming in Germany on his own.
Appearing on pal Rosie O’Donnell’s virtual Broadway.com chat show on Sunday night (March 22), the “Gone Girl” star revealed he’s having a wonderful time with his husband, David Burtka, and their kids in Harlem, New York, admitting he wasn’t looking forward to a long, lonely film shoot.
“I was supposed to be in Berlin, Germany filming ‘The Matrix 4’,” he explained. “We were all preparing to be disjointed as a family for months and months and now we’re all hunkered in together.”

The actress, who played Michonne for eight seasons on the show, filmed her final episode in July (2019) and recalled the difficult time after her remaining scenes aired on Sunday, March 22.
“It was very, very, very emotional,” she told Entertainment Weekly. “It was a lot of love. I received so much love, I was really blown back by how much love I received from everybody.”
And while the shoot proved challenging to face, the 42-year-old notes the big show of support really helped her get through it.
“You’re dreading that last day, that last minute, that last frame, you’re dreading it,” Gurira added. “That’s it. And at the same time, there’s so much beauty and love around it that you’re able to just be in the moment with it. So it was great. It was beautiful. It was like leaving home. There’s nothing quite like it.”

The contestants are divided into three groups before the judges, Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan, announce which groups that will be heading to Hawaii.
    Mar 24, 2020
AceShowbiz – “American Idol” returned with a new episode on Monday, March 23. The episode marked the final night of Hollywood Week with Top 40 being announced at the end of the episode. Opening the night was Kimmy Gabriela, who sang “I’m Here” from “The Color Purple”, much to Katy Perry’s liking.
Later, Genavieve Linkowski followed it up with a stunning rendition of “In My Blood” by Shawn Mendes. Also offering an impressive performance was Jovin Webb who belted out Chris Stapleton’s “Parachute”. Perrin York, meanwhile, managed to get Katy to sing along with her as she sang “Good as Hell” by Lizzo.
The next singers were Faith Becnel and Jeb Vonderbruegge who performed Elmore James’ “Cry For Me Baby” and Elton John’s “Rocket Man” respectively. As for Arthur Gunn, he took the stage to once again perform the same song he sang at his auditions, “Have You Ever Seen The Rain?” He made a few alterations though, and the judges loved it.
That night, Robert Taylor, Amelia, Jimmy Levy and Julia Gargano sang original songs but the judges were not really impressed. However that wasn’t the case for Lauren Mascitti, who earned a standing ovation for her original song “God Made a Woman”.
Meanwhile, Makayla Brownlee, who has a heart condition that affects the way she reacts to stress, didn’t get to perform because she had to be taken to be looked by doctors. The auditions continued with a performance from Camryn Leigh Smith who sang “Always Remember Us This Way”. Devon Alexander and Lauren Spencer-Smith wowed Katy, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan with their performances. Later, Makayla returned and gave a solid performance of “Rainbow” by Kacey Musgraves.

'RHOA': NeNe Leakes Lashes Out at Producer After Storming Out During Greece Outing

    Bravo

The episode also sees Kenya leaving the filming site after being involved in huge argument with NeNe and Marlo Hampton last week with NeNe trying to spit on Kenya.
    Mar 23, 2020
AceShowbiz – A lot was happening in the Sunday, March 22 episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”. The episode saw Kenya Moore refusing to bury the hatchet with NeNe Leakes and Marlo Hampton after they were involved in a huge argument last week with NeNe trying to spit on Kenya.
Kenya seemingly had enough of them as she tried to leave the filming site. Kandi Burruss tried to stop her, saying, “Stop being a person that walks away. Stop it! Kenya, you can’t just say what you wanna say and then leave!”
“I told you don’t insult me, that’s my point,” Kenya clapped back. “I don’t have time for this s**t. The s**t I’m dealing with, I don’t have time for this s**t.”
In her confessional, Kandi shared, “I don’t even wanna do this. I knew this is not the time, Kenya was dealing with so much stuff at home and she doesn’t really have the fight in her right now.”

The next day, it was NeNe who threatened to leave the filming site. NeNe seemingly was offended with the other ladies playing “greek tragedy” in which they imitated each other. She excused herself to use the bathroom but the other Housewives thought that they had upset her.
That prompted one producer to intervene and try to stop her from storming out. NeNe, however, lashed out at him and said, “Don’t f**k with me, I’m for real.” It seems like viewers will find out why NeNe was so upset in next week’s episode.
Season 12 of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” airs on Sundays at 8 P.M. on Bravo.
