    AceShowbiz – The forthcoming adaptation of “Cinderella (2021)” has joined the growing list of film and TV shoots halted as the world tackles the coronavirus pandemic.
    Bosses at Sony have decided to send the cast and crew of the project, currently filming at Pinewood Studios in the U.K., home for a planned two-week hiatus.
    Camila Cabello stars in the film, opposite Billy Porter.
    The news comes as “The Batman” and the third “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” movie were also postponed in England.
    Also among the latest film cancellations are Sylvester Stallone’s “Samaritan”, which was being shot in Atlanta, Georgia, and the new Apple TV thriller series “Suspicion”, which recently started filming in the U.K. The Puerto Rico production of “Midnight in the Switchgrass”, starring Megan Fox, Emile Hirsch and Bruce Willis, has also been put on hold just one week into filming.

    AceShowbiz – A 30-year-old production assistant has been left paralysed following an accident on the “Batwoman” set.
    Amanda Smith was hospitalised on 11 March after she was struck on the head with the bucket of a boom lift. She suffered a burst vertebrae and other serious spinal injuries, according to the Vancouver Sun.
    Reports suggest she is currently recovering and in good spirits, although she has no feeling in her legs.
    Friends and family are hoping she will regain sensation and use of her legs in rehabilitation.
    Her friend, Tyler Mazzucco, has launched a rehabilitation fund in Smith’s name that has already topped $25,000 (£20,400) – halfway to its $50,000 (£41,000) goal.
    Production on “Batwoman”, starring Ruby Rose, was suspended after the accident and the series is now on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.

    AceShowbiz – American Idol” season 18 kicked off its Hollywood Week on Monday, March 16. The first group to perform in front of the judges, Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan, was singers/songwriters included Julia Gargano.
    Gargano impressed the three judges with a powerful rendition of “The Joke” by Brandi Carlile. Meanwhile, Marna Michele sang Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love” with Arthur Gunn performing “Hard to Handle”. The judges couldn’t get enough of Gunn so they asked for more. Gunn, Gargano and one other singer went to the next round, while Marna and some others were eliminated.
    The next group to perform was the pop genre group. Louis Knight performed a stripped down version of “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”, while Robert Taylor opted to sing “Natural Woman”, much to the judges’ likings. Alongside three other singers, Taylor and returning contestant Genavieve Linkowski moved on.
    Later, Kay Genyse performed “Ain’t Nobody” while Bilaal Avaz sang Demi Lovato’s “Stone Cold”. Also among the next performers were Shannon Gibbons, who wowed everyone with her rendition of Kodaline’s “All I Want”, and Lauren Spencer Smith, who belted out “Because of You”. The judges decided to send Avaz, Gibbons and Smith to the next round.
    Performing next in R&B group was Cyniah Elise who sang Adele’s “All I Ask” that earned her a standing ovation from the judges. Elise moved onto the next round along with Makayla Phillips, who performed “And I’m Telling You I’m Not Going”, and Just Sam, who belted out “Hearts Ain’t Gonna Lie”.
    Joining Francisco Martin in his singer/songwriter group were Johnny West and Dillon James among others. The three were sent to the next round alongside everyone else in the group. West’s girlfriend Margie Mays later performed “The Voice Withing” and was followed up by Nick Merico who sang “I Love You More Than You’ll Ever Know”. Kimmy Gabriela, meanwhile, stunned everyone after singing “Say Something. Merico, Gabriela and Mays were heading to the next round.
    Meanwhile in the country group, Lauren Mascitti sang a rendition of “Don’t It Make My Brown Eyes Blue”. Hannah Prestige earned rave reviews for her performance of “Over You” by Miranda Lambert and Grace Leer brought an on-school country vibe with her performance of “Unchained Melody”. The three and some others were moving on.
    Amber Fiedler from soul group opted to sing Andra Day’s “Rise Up” while Sophie Wackerman showcased her skills by singing “Let It Be”. Jovin Webbb performed next, singing “Make It Rain”. The group also saw garbage man Doug Kiker performing. Unfortunately, he was eliminated while Wackherman, Fiedler and Webbb made it through.

    AceShowbiz – The producers of royal drama “The Crown” are hoping to complete work on the show’s fourth season before the coronavirus pandemic shuts the set down.
    Several major productions currently filming in England, such as “The Batman”, “Fantastic Beasts 3”, “The Witcher”, and the new Apple TV series “Suspicion”, have been suspended in recent days, but the Netflix drama is forging ahead with stars like Olivia Colman, Tobias Menzies and Helena Bonham Carter still on set, according to reports.
    The series is in its final week of filming the upcoming fourth season.
    “The Crown” is also one of the only Netflix projects still shooting after bosses at the streaming service announced they had postponed filming on all productions in the U.S. and Canada.
    The decision to press on with “The Crown” comes as U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson releases a statement to the public, urging everyone to stay at home and avoid all gatherings.

    AceShowbiz – After “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” aired its latest episode of its season 12 on Sunday, March 15, there was a wild speculation that cast member Marlo Hampton was caught stealing during a shopping outing in Greece. The ladies went to a boutique store in the country, and people thought Marlo looked a little bit suspicious.
    In the episode, Marlo was seen putting some expensive clothes into a shopping bag. Further rising people’s suspicion, she and co-star NeNe Leakes were whispering to each other. The little details in the episode, though it might be just a matter of production editing, convinced viewers that Marlo was stealing.
    While Marlo has yet to respond to the accusations, her other co-star Porsha Williams jumped to her defense. Explaining in a comment section of an Instagram post featuring footage of Marlo allegedly stealing, Porsha wrote on Monday, March 16, “Guys stop that lil dress cost $15 she bought it for Pj,” referring to her daughter Pillar Jhena.
    Some others also thought that it was almost impossible for Marlo, who is rich, to steal. “She’s Versace head to toe.. ain’t nobody stealing a $10 t shirt,” one fan reminded everyone. “I don’t see how it’s stealing when she is bringing it out from a bag she’s already holding… and putting it back in the same bag,” one other added.
    Weighing in on the matter, someone wrote, “Is it me or can you see that @marlohampton takes the item out of her bag first, then she shows it to @neneleakes to ask her opinion, and then she puts the item back in her bag? I do that when I’m trying to match an outfit, I will take the item out and see if it works with something else from another store.”

    Despite Porsha’s explanation, some still believed that Marlo did steal in the scene as one called her an “International shoplifter.” One person even suggested that the Housewives were all working together so that Marlo could do her mission without being caught. “They all covered for her porsha is the distraction, Nene tryna watch the area, Kandi knows its going on aint gonna say nothing and they don’t tell Kenya shiiiid,” the person alleged.

    Tom Hooper’s flop musical also landed him the Worst Director dishonour, while also picking up Worst Screenplay and Worst Supporting Actor and Actress awards (James Corden and Rebel Wilson).
    This year’s actual Golden Raspberry Awards, scheduled for Saturday (March 14), were scrapped as a result of the growing coronavirus pandemic.
    Organizers had planned to press ahead with the irreverent annual Los Angeles ceremony, commonly known as the Razzie Awards, but the weekend prizegiving had to be ditched after Mayor Eric Garcetti introduced restrictions on crowd sizes in public to curb the spread of COVID-19.
    The limitations led to the shut down of The Barnsdall Theatre, where the Razzies were due to be held.

    AceShowbiz – The upcoming reunion special of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” season 12 is going to be epic, according to Kenya Moore. The cast member of the Bravo reality series recently took to her Instagram account to allude that she would be bringing receipts in the upcoming reunion.
    “RHOA Season 12 Reunion will be EPIC! The #TRUTH about all these #FAKE friendships will be exposed,” so the mom of one wrote alongside a picture of a pile of receipts. “Secrets have been kept way too long. All the snake’s heads will be cut off. My receipts are ready.”
    Even though it seems like Kenya will come prepared to the filming, people didn’t really think that things would go in her way. “Kenya with the karma. Porsha and nene are cool. Let it go,” one fan said, referring to fellow “RHOA” stars Porsha Williams and NeNe Leakes. Seemingly thinking of Kenya being childish, another fan wrote, “How old is she? Why is she acting like this?”
    Some others suggested Kenya to mind her business and her failed marriage to Marc Daly, with whom she shares daughter Brooklyn. “Kenya, sweetie, worry about ya little marriage baby girl……,” someone shared advice for her. Meanwhile, another comment read, “Where Marc receipts at though good sis? You always throwing shade till it come down to that miserable marriage,” with one person saying, “This is why her marriage is failing !!!!!!”
    In related news, the feud between Kenya and NeNe doesn’t show any sign of ending. During the ladies’ trip to Greece, the two nemesis were involved in a heated argument. During an outing, NeNe calls out Cynthia for being too easy to Kenya. NeNe called Kenya a “big a** bully, b***h,” prompting Kenya to feel offended and reply, “Wait a minute. Did you just call me a b***h? What is this?”

    NeNe wasn’t backing down and further challenged Kenya, “What are you gonna say about it, though? What are you gonna do about it?” When Kenya asked, “Do you want me to fight you? What are talking about?” NeNe responded, “No, you can’t fight me, girl. You would lose. So all you’re gonna do is run your mouth.” With that, all hell breaks loose. NeNe was later seen threatening to throw peanuts on Kenya.

The rapper/actor/producer recently took to his social media account to address the postponement of the production on the much-anticipated spin-offs of Starz’s “Power”, “Power Book II: Ghost” and “Power Book III: Raising Kanan”.
    The “In Da Club” hitmaker shared on Saturday, March 14 a screenshot of an article that broke the news of the decision. “i had to do it we were the last production still working. f**k,” Fiddy begrudgingly wrote in the caption.
    His followers assured him that it was the best decision because “Health comes first. Can’t knock it fif.” Another person added, “Better safe than sorry. In this case.” One other said, “Don’t worry champ @50cent Things will bounce back better.”
    Commenting on how Coronavirus disease has massively affected the industry, someone commented, “WOW this corona s**t is f***in up everything.” Echoing the sentiment, one person added, “Smh corona messing up moves.”
    Even though the postponement was inevitable because putting everyone’s well-being should be the top priority, that didn’t stop fans from feeling disappointed. “Damn. Right when we need power in case they make us stay indoors,” one noted. “Yeah but 50 what we gonna watch now when we’re ill with coronavirus, your shows are the illest knowwhatimsayin #trailerparkboys,” someone else wrote.
    As reported back in February, Starz ordered 3 “Power” spin-offs, “Power Book III: Raising Kanan”, “Power Book IV: Influence” and “Power Book V: Force”, in addition to the already announced “Power Book II: Ghost”.
    “Raising Kanan” is set to follow Kanan Stark during the ’90s as a prequel series. “Influence” will center on the character of Rashad Tate, while “Force” will tell the story about Tommy Egan leaving New York for good. As for “Ghost”, the upcoming show will continue where the original series leaves off.
    “In television history, only a select few shows have inspired four consecutive series extensions, launched into active production and development at the same time,” said Jeffrey Hirsch, president and CEO of Starz. “These new and exciting chapters will continue the journey of some of ‘Power’ ‘s most controversial characters while featuring a growing ensemble of complex, distinct characters along with the high-octane drama that set ‘Power’ in a class of its own.”
