    AceShowbiz – The upcoming season 9 of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” is much more personal for cast member Alexis Skyy. In the nearly six-minute super trailer that VH1 released on Monday, March 9, Alexis can be seen practicing for self-defense before opening up about her bleak history.
    During a panel, Alexis reveals to the audience, “I was just basically sold to whoever, highest bidder.” She goes on saying, “I had to forcefully do it or he would say he was gonna kill me. I didn’t want to die.”

    Following the release, Alexis took to her Instagram account to share a lengthy message. “LHHATL this season is a really BIG season for me, for the first time EVER…in my life… I’m opening up about my tramatic human trafficking experience I went thru as a little girl…!!!” so she wrote alongside a clip of her part in the trailer.
    “Everyday I’m attacked, judged & accused of lying… all because, I’ve never spoke on my story before, but what nobody knows is, I still to this day haven’t told my mom, my grandmother or none of my immediate family!!!” she added. “I was only 15 years old when I was kidnapped & forced into human trafficking by a guy 20 years older than me.”
    Alexis went on saying that the man “beat on me, threaten to kill me, my family & etc” every single day for 2 months. “Multiple times he held a loaded gun to my face, abused & raped me!! Also forcing me to have sexual intercourse who would pay,” she detailed. “It’s so much shyt I’ve been thru as a young girl that nobody knows.”

    In addition, the new season will see Alexis having a physical altercation with Karlie as she appears to be secretly married to someone whom Alexis is dating. “He was in love with me. He gave her my ring and everything, so…,” so Karlie yells at Alexis before attempting to attack Alexis at Rasheeda and Kirk Frost’s 20th anniversary party.
    Season 9 of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” is set to premiere on March 16 at 8 P.M. ET/PT on VH1.

    AceShowbiz – “Jeopardy!” and “Wheel of Fortune” are taking preventive measures in light of Coronavirus disease. The two of the most popular TV shows reportedly will start taping without live audience as of Tuesday, March 10 since the virus continues to spread throughout many countries.
    A source reveals to TMZ that the production behind “Jeopardy!” is concerned with the well-being of host Alex Trebex, who is currently battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He has a compromised immused system from chemotherapy and other treatments and the executives think that it will be too risky to expose him to large audiences.
    It is also said that they make the decision considering that most of the audience members of both “Jeopardy!” and “Wheel of Fortune” are people in their 60s. It has been reported that most deaths because of Coronavirus happened to old patients who also had other illness.
    The fact that most of them are coming from out of town is also among the reasons why they will no longer tape with audience. The production deems the travel risky and thinks that it will give a potential mean for the virus to spread.
    According to the Centers of Disease Control, there are 423 confirmed cases in the U.S. so far. It is reported that 29 of which were spread from person to person. The agency says that those at risk of becoming very sick from the virus include older adults and those who have “serious chronic medical conditions.”
    “Jeopardy!” and “Wheel of Fortune” are the latest shows being affected by the Coronavirus outbreak. Prior to this, music and entertainement festival SXSW announced its cancellation. “The City of Austin has cancelled the March dates for SXSW… SXSW will faithfully follow the City’s directions,” a statement from festival organizers read on Friday, March 6. “We are devastated to share this news with you… This is the first time in 34 years that the March event will not take place. We are now working through the ramifications of this unprecedented situation.”
    The announcement came after news that Facebook, Twitter, Netflix, Amazon, Apple and TikTok chiefs had all pulled their presentations from the event.

    AceShowbiz – Eva Green has denied hearing the rumours she’s joining the cast of the upcoming Marvel movie “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”.
    The 39-year-old French actress has been tipped for a role in the film, but during an interview with Total Film magazine she insisted she knew nothing about a potential part.
    “Me? No! Not that I know of. Not at all,” she said.
    However, Eva did express her admiration for the Marvel franchise, gushing, “I like the humour in them. I saw the trailer for ‘Black Widow’… I’d like to see that one.”
    Production on “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” will begin in May, with Benedict Cumberbatch returning to the fold as the titular sorcerer.
    Sam Rami is reportedly in talks to direct the film, which is expected to drop next year (2021).

    AceShowbiz – Jessica Simpson has credited her father for her hit reality show, “Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica”. Stopping by “On Air! with Ryan Seacrest” to promote her “Open Book” memoir, the “With You” hitmaker revealed it was actually Joe Simpson who came up with the idea of her sharing her marriage to then-husband Nick Lachey with the world.
    Speaking to host Ryan Seacrest about the show, the 39-year-old explained why her father, who was her manager at the time, encouraged her participation. “My dad was like, ‘I really want people to understand you and know that you’re human.’ You know? ‘Because if they get to hang out with you while you’re on the couch, they’ll really understand who you are,’ ” she recalled.
    When asked she regretted doing the show or thought it was a “mistake,” the mother of three responded, “Oh no, it’s been the most empowering thing I could possibly do.” She elaborated, “I do believe that doing ‘Newlyweds’ is what made people – it’s what launched my brand,” before adding that she “would go back and do it all over again.”
    Jessica and Nick’s marriage ended up in a divorce back in 2006 after three seasons of “Newlyweds”. In her “Open Book” memoir, she revealed that the two of them “weren’t even talking to each other” during the filming of the show’s final season. She blamed their “anxieties” about their careers for the failure.

    During the radio chat, Jessica also talked about her current husband Eric Johnson (III). Having been married to the former NFL pro for nearly six years, the “I Wanna Love You Forever” singer claimed, “The moment I met Eric I was like these people can not come back to me because I’ve let these doors open way too many times and it’s been so destructive.” She added, “Once I met Eric, I truly changed everything.”

    AceShowbiz – Fans were close to finding out how Peter Weber ended his love journey in part one of “The Bachelor” season 24 finale, which aired on Monday, March 9. He asked his family in Australia to help him make decision which one to choose between Hannah Ann or Madison.
    After filling his family on the recent issues he had with Madison, they told him that they were concerned about Madison. Considering how she had such different values than him, they thought that could affect their relationship if Peter decided to be with her.
    Meeting with Peter’s family first was Hannah Ann. Peter’s mom Barbara appeared to love her as she shared that she could see herself and her husband in Peter and Hannah Ann. His father also agreed that the two looked very compatible. However, Peter was still feeling conflicted because he knew that he also loved Madison.
    Before bringing Madison to his parents, Peter had a talk with Madison during which she told him that she’s still hurt and frustrated because Peter got intimate with other women in the fantasy suites. Peter apologized once again and told her that he was also frustrated because of her ultimatum. Madison said that she’s “hanging on by a thread” and didn’t feel confident in their relationship.
    That led Peter to beg her not to leave him. After going through a tough conversation, Madison finally met Peter’s family. She assured them that she loved Peter even though things were not easy. She also admitted that she and Peter had a lot of differences but she told them that she’s confident that they would overcome the differences.
    Peter’s brother Jack then asked Peter if she would be able not to have sex until marriage should he choose Madison. Peter said that while it was such a different lifestyle as his, he was willing to compromise. After hearing his answer, Jack felt that while Hannah Ann had flaws, he saw a lot of red flags with Madison.
    Barbara also confronted Madison about the difference in lifestyles with Madison defending herself. Peter eventually realized that his family wasn’t really fond of Madison. Crying, Barbara made it clear that she was all for Hannah Ann. “[Madison]’s not there for you. You have a gem [Hannah Ann] waiting for you, who is madly head over heels in love with you, and God put her there for you,” she said.
    Barbara later told him to bring Hannah home, adding, “We will love her with all the love in the world. She’s a dream come true.” All the pressure, however, made Peter frustrated. At the end, Barbara told Peter that she trusted him.
    During his final date with Madison, they took a romantic helicopter ride. However, how things ended far from being romantic as Madison broke up with Peter. “I just realized…it’s kind of time to surrender,” she said.
    While he was “emotionally drained,” he thanked Hannah Ann for being there for him. However, Hannah Ann wasn’t convinced that Peter was as committed as she was. “I wouldn’t ever want you to do something out of any other reason than truly just choosing me — me for who I am,” Hannah Ann said. Peter told her that his heart was being pulled in two different directions.
    “It hurts when I’m so sure and you’re not. That’s what hurts to hear,” Hannah Ann told Peter. “I’ve given and given and given, and I just want something in return. It’s getting to the point where it’s hard being so certain and sure of someone and not getting that in return. You seem not completely there like I am.”
    Fans will see what’s next to come with Peter and Hannah Ann in the part two of the finale on March 10 at 8:00 P.M. on ABC.

    AceShowbiz – Actor Terrence Howard is suing TV bosses behind his hit hip-hop drama series “Empire” over allegations of outstanding payment.
    Fox Network officials were supposed to pay the “Iron Man” star his TV wages through his company, Universal Bridges, but Howard claims he has not received the agreed funds for the last three episodes produced – and now he’s taking them to court for breach of contract.
    Howard, who still plays music mogul Lucious Lyon on the show, wants FOX executives to hand over the full amount owed, plus attorney fees, reports The Blast.
    The actor’s lawsuit emerges days after FOX chiefs filed a separate suit against Howard and his firm, after finding themselves caught up in a separate legal battle between the star and his ex-wife, Michelle Ghent.
    Howard was ordered to pay her $1.3 million (£991,400) in backdated spousal support last August, but he is appealing the ruling, and has apparently declined to cut a cheque until his challenge is heard.
    His actions prompted Ghent, who was married to Howard from 2010 to 2013, to serve FOX bosses with a legal notice seeking to have her ex’s wages paid directly to her in an effort to collect on the money owed, leaving lawyers for the TV firm to turn to judges for help in deciding where the funds are supposed to be sent.
    A ruling in that case has yet to be made.

    AceShowbiz – Oscar-winning drama “Parasite” has set a new record as the highest-grossing foreign-language film in British box office history.
    The South Korean movie, directed by Bong Joon Ho, has so far banked $14.59 million (£11.1 million) since it opened on 7 February, dethroning Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ”.
    The biblical film, which featured dialogue in Hebrew and Latin, had held the title since 2004, with a total gross of $14.56 million (£11.08 million).
    Officials at Parasite’s distributor, Curzon Artificial Eye, announced the news via Twitter after the figures were unveiled on Sunday, March 08.
    “This weekend we’re celebrating the fact that Bong Joon Ho’s universally acclaimed #Parasite has now become the highest grossing foreign language film in UK box office history!”

    Curzon Artificial Eye announced the milestones on Twitter.
    “Parasite” claimed four Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director, at Hollywood’s big night last month (February), and has taken in more than $257 million (£195.5 million) across the world to date.

    AceShowbiz – Daniel Craig nearly quit as James Bond after making “Spectre” due to the toll the role takes on his physical and mental health.
    The “Knives Out” star had to finish filming the last instalment in the espionage franchise in a knee brace due to an on set injury in 2015, and after finishing filming said he’d rather “slash my wrists” than make another 007 movie.
    He is, however, set to return as Bond one final time in “No Time to Die” – but tells GQ magazine he meant it when he hinted he’d quit – as making the films took so much out of him.
    “I was never going to do one again,” the 52-year-old star explains. “I was like, ‘Is this work really genuinely worth this, to go through this, this whole thing?’ And I didn’t feel… I felt physically really low.”
    “So the prospect of doing another movie was just, like, off the cards. And that’s why it has been five years.”
    Revealing that preparing for the role harmed his mental health, Daniel explains, “With Bond, you don’t get the script, so the physicality of it is a preparation, in a way. It’s making my head go, ‘This is what it’s going to be.’ ”
    The actor adds, “I have suffered from it (anxiety) in the past. I have suffered because it’s been like, ‘I can’t cope, I can’t deal with this.’ ”

    “No Time to Die”, which is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, was scheduled for release next month (April 2020). but its debut has been pushed back until November due to the coronavirus which has spread across the globe, forcing the cancellation of numerous concerts, conferences and sporting events.
