Democrat Donna Brazile Lashes Out at RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel on Live TV: 'Go to Hell!'

    FOX

The top Democrat hotly responds to the Republican National Committee chairwoman after the latter claims that the Democratic primary will be ‘rigged’ against Sen. Bernie Sanders.
    Mar 4, 2020
AceShowbiz – Former interim Democratic National Commitee chairwoman Donna Brazile didn’t hold back during her appearance on Fox News on Tuesday, March 3. She lashed out at Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel for claiming that the Democratic primary will be “rigged” against Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).
McDaniel appeared first on the program, stating, “It does depend on how big a lead that Sanders takes out of California is. If he picks up a huge proportion of delegates. I don’t see anybody getting out soon.” She continued, “It is leading towards a brokered convention, which will be rigged against Bernie if those superdelegates have their way on that second vote.”
Later “America’s Newsroom” anchor Sandra Smith asked Brazile to respond to the statement. ” First of all, I want to talk to my Republicans. First of all, stay the hell out of our race. Stay the hell out of our race,” Brazile insisted during her appearance on the network. “I get sick and tired of listening to Republicans tell me and the Democrats about our process.”
She went on tearing into the GOP chairwoman by adding, “They don’t have a process. They are canceling primaries. They have winner-take-all. They don’t have the kind of democracy that we see on the Democratic side… And for people to use Russian talking points to sew division among Americans. That is stupid. So, Ronna, go to hell! Go to hell! We are not trying to prevent anyone from becoming the nominee!”

Her response unsurprisingly shocked the “America’s Newsroom” anchors as Ed Henry could be heard muttering, “Whoa!” However, that didn’t stop Brazile from firing back at the Republicans as she continued, “This is not about- no! Go to Hell! I’m tired of it!”

Ronna McDaniel responded to Donna Brazile’s ‘Go to Hell’ comments.
McDaniel then took to Twitter to comment on Brazile’s fiery response. “It’s ok, @donnabrazile. I’d be having a bad day too if my party was still hopelessly divided,” so she wrote. “Talk of a brokered convention and the DNC trying to stop Bernie obviously hit a little close to home.”

Mark Ruffalo Confirms He's In Talks to Join 'She-Hulk'

    WENN/Derrick Salters

The Bruce Banner depicter reveals he is in early discussion to join the cast members of the upcoming superhero series and play a mentor to the new Hulk.
    Mar 4, 2020
AceShowbiz – Mark Ruffalo is in preliminary talks to star in the new Disney+ show “She-Hulk”.
Ruffalo revealed he’s discussed returning to his role as Bruce Banner during an appearance at the C2E2 convention in Chicago, Illinois on Sunday, March 1, 2020, according to the SyFyWire website.
“There’s some talk about it, but it’s all kind of preliminary,” Ruffalo told a fan who asked if he’d appear in the show. “It would be nice to see Banner, Hulk, Professor (or) somebody show up to help and to guide or be a gentle guiding presence of She-Hulk as a friend.”
As for whether an appearance would include Banner/Hulk’s involvement with She-Hulk’s origin story in the comic books, in which Jennifer Walters, a cousin of Banner receives a Gamma-fuelled blood transfusion from him, Ruffalo said he thinks it likely.
“I would think so, yeah,” Ruffalo said. “But I don’t have much control over that.”
“She-Hulk” is currently in development with a cast and premiere date yet to be announced.
The star also opened up about taking a role in a TV adaptation of Bong Joon-ho’s Oscar-winning thriller “Parasite”.
“I might be playing the father in Parasite on a television show,” he shared. “I would love to do it. We’re sort of waiting on the script and all that, but yeah, that’s pretty much true and in the works.”

Ben Affleck Has 'Sober Liaison' While Working on Movie 'The Way Back'

    WENN/Adriana M. Barraza

The ‘Gone Girl’ actor is accompanied by a ‘sober liaison’ provided by rehab facility while working on his new movie to make sure he doesn’t fall back into his old habits.
    Mar 4, 2020
AceShowbiz – Ben Affleck was accompanied by a “sober liaison” to and from the set of “The Way Back”.
The film sees Ben star as ex basketball player Jack Cunningham, who has to battle his alcoholism and other demons when he’s asked to coach the basketball team at his former college.
Ben has also struggled with a dependence on alcohol for much of his adult life, and began filming “The Way Back” while he was in rehab seeking help for his addiction.
In order to ensure the 47-year-old actor didn’t stray from his sober journey, the rehab facility provided Ben with a sober liaison, as his co-star Will Ropp told People.com.
“Everybody was very transparent from the beginning that he was in rehab at the beginning of the film,” he said. “He had to have a sober liaison that would bring him to set and that would bring him back from (the) set.”
Revealing he found the making of the film “cathartic,” Ben added to the outlet, “The potential for a movie like this is to really inspire somebody, to move somebody. Sometimes you do movies, you go, ‘Okay, it’s a thriller. They’re thrilled. And then they go home and they’ve forgotten about it.’ My goal with this was to make something that would feel enduring and lasting.”
“Not everybody is going to come in and think it’s great. But for those who do, and for those who may be moved by this, the idea that you can face hard things and get better, I’m really proud of that.”

Ben Affleck Credits 'The Way Back' for Briefly Making Him 'Cool' to Teen Daughter

    Warner Bros. Pictures

The ex-husband of Jennifer Garner admits to spending hours looking up online slang so he could immerse himself in his role as a high school basketball coach for the sports drama film.
    Mar 3, 2020
AceShowbiz – Ben Affleck briefly became “cool” while researching his role as a high school basketball coach in “The Way Back” after studying teen-speak online.
The Oscar winner felt he needed to understand teens like his daughter to help him get into character and so he spent hours looking up slang so he could connect with his young co-stars.
“It was a joy for me to work with all these young actors, to get back in touch with what it’s like to be in your late teens and 20s,” the actor explains.
“I tried learning a lot of new slang and how to use Instagram filters. I briefly became kind of cool to my 14-year-old daughter, although that quickly faded.”
Ben enjoyed being the old guy on set, adding, “They would ask questions like, ‘Hey, when you did that movie, what was it like?’ ‘Who’s an interesting director to work with?’ It was fun to hang out with them. They brought a certain newness and excitement to the work.”
And director Gavin O’Connor was more than a little impressed with Ben’s performance, considering he didn’t grow up playing basketball.
“He wasn’t in locker rooms and he didn’t coach,” the filmmaker tells WENN. “We had to work to get him comfortable on the sidelines coaching a team. We spent a lot of time working in a gym with the kids, putting them into situations where Ben was just coaching, coaching, coaching – pacing the sidelines, yelling at referees, getting kids in and out and just leading the team.”

According to MTO News, the B2K member not only loses love, but also a job. A production source reveals that the rapper is not expected to be back for the new season of the reality TV series. “Apryl doesn’t want him on the cast, and we’re trying to get Omarion back. James Bond Fans Plead for 'No Time to Die' Release Delay Amid Coronavirus Crisis

    Universal Pictures/Nicole Dove

In an open letter to the 007 producers, writers for the MI6-HQ website are encouraging a summer release by arguing that public health should be put above marketing marketing release schedules.
    Mar 3, 2020
AceShowbiz – A group of James Bond fans has urged 007 producers to stall the release of “No Time to Die” until the spread of coronavirus is contained.
In an open letter to Bond bosses, writers for the MI6-HQ website are encouraging studio executives to “put public health above marketing release schedules”.
“With a month to go before No Time to Die opens worldwide, community spread of the virus is likely to be peaking in the United States,” the letter, obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, reads. “Today, Washington declared a state of emergency. There is a significant chance that cinemas will be closed, or their attendance severely reduced, by early April.”
Urging producers to consider a summer release instead, the missive continues: “It’s just a movie. The health and well-being of fans around the world, and their families, is more important.”
“We have all waited over four years for this film. Another few months will not damage the quality of the film and only help the box office for Daniel Craig’s final hurrah.”
Craig will be stepping down as 007 after the film’s release.
Bond bosses have already taken heed of the coronavirus spread in Asia, cancelling the Beijing, China premiere and a promotional tour.

'Mulan' Producer Admits #MeToo Contributed to Removal of Li Shang Character

    Disney

Speaking about the upcoming live-action remake of the 1998 animation, producer Jason Reed spills that the army leader character has been split into two new ones.
    Mar 3, 2020
AceShowbiz – Disney bosses dropped the character Li Shang from the live-action remake of “Mulan”, because they feared the storyline involving his character was no longer appropriate in the #MeToo era.
In the 1998 animated original, the army leader, voiced by James Shigeta, developed a bond with Mulan’s male alter-ego Ping, and they date when her true identity is revealed.
Producer Jason Reed admits Disney chiefs were uncomfortable with the power dynamics of the relationship, telling Collider, “I think particularly in the time of the #MeToo movement, having a commanding officer that is also the sexual love interest was very uncomfortable and we didn’t think it was appropriate.”
“We split Li Shang into two characters. One became Commander Tung, who serves as her surrogate father and mentor in the course of the movie. The other is Honghui who is her equal.”
Dragon Mushu, who was voiced by Eddie Murphy, also won’t be making an appearance in the new movie.
