'RHONJ' Star Teresa Giudice Is 'Embarrassed and Angry' Over Season Finale

    WENN/Instar

In the finale, which aired on Wednesday, February 26, Melissa Gorga spilled the tea that Teresa encouraged Danielle Staub to pull Margaret Joseph’s hair during their fight at a boutique.
    Mar 2, 2020
AceShowbiz – Teresa Giudice isn’t proud of what she did in the season 10 finale of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey”. According to a new report, the episode “was really hard for Teresa to watch” since she was revealed to be telling Danielle Staub to pull Margaret Joseph’s hair during their fight.
A source continued telling HollywoodLife.com on Sunday, March 1, “She was really embarrassed and angry and is so ready to move on from this season and on to the next.” However, it didn’t make her want to exit the Bravo reality TV series.
“In zero way is this making her not want to come back. She loves the show and the platform it gives her and has no plans to walk away despite the backlash she’s received from the episode,” added the insider. “She’s happy that her castmates have supported her since walking away from her friendship to Danielle.”
The 47-year-old TV personality is allegedly “confident that she and Marge (Margaret) will eventually be fine again and she gets why she’s upset.” However, “Teresa is still done with Danielle. They spoke at the reunion and she has no plans to speak to her again anytime in the near future. She’s done.”
In the finale, which aired on Wednesday, February 26, Melissa Gorga spilled the tea that Danielle told her that Teresa encouraged her to pull Margaret’s hair during their fight at a boutique. Upon knowing that, Margaret lashed out at Teresa, saying, “Why would you ever tell her to pull my hair? How sick is that? You f***ing love this girl so much that you’re gonna f***ing just let her hurt me? For what? For what? You’re a real f***ing a**hole. I’m like f***ing freaked out. This is your f***ing friend? This is who you wanna associate with?”
After being blasted by Margaret, Teresa appeared to be pissed off because she knew that Bravo would most likely use this for storyline. “You guys are f**ing assholes. I’m going home!” she shouted after flipping one of the cameraman the bird and throwing her drink.
Later, Teresa called Danielle and confronted her. “I didn’t agree with attacking someone. That was your f***ing decision, and then afterwards, what did I tell you afterwards? I’m so mad at myself. I don’t ever wanna hurt anybody again. It’s f***ed up. I’m not like that,” she told Danielle. She then decided to end her friendship with Danielle, saying, “I wish you all the best, I just don’t wanna be friends anymore. I had enough. Alright, bye,” before hanging up.

Jennifer Lopez Says She Doesn't Need Oscars to Tell Her That She Did Good Job in 'Hustlers'

    STX Entertainment

Following the Academy Award snub, the ‘On the Floor’ hitmaker finally realizes she doesn’t need people’s validation to tell her that her onscreen performance is good.
    Mar 2, 2020
AceShowbiz – Jennifer Lopez’s Oscars snub for her role in “Hustlers” helped her realise she “doesn’t need this award right here to tell me that I am enough.”
The star was hotly tipped for awards success for her acclaimed role as Ramona in the 2019 box office hit, also starring Cardi B, Constance Wu, and Lizzo.
While she failed to bag a nomination on the Academy Awards shortlist, the singer/actress told Oprah Winfrey during her 2020 Oprah’s 2020 Vision Tour on Saturday, February 29, 2020 in Los Angeles, the 50-year-old confessed the incident worked out well for her after all.
“I was sad, I was a little sad because there was a lot of buildup to it. There were so many articles, I got so many good notices – more than ever in my career – and there was a lot of ‘She’s going to get nominated for an Oscar, it’s going to happen, if it doesn’t you’re crazy,’ ” she said, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Despite the snub, the “On the Floor” star said she had to look at all the accomplishments she received over the past 12 months, including her massive It’s My Party Tour in honour of her 50th birthday, and her headlining slot at the Super Bowl Halftime Show alongside Shakira, which helped her realise there was more to life than accolades.
“You want people’s validation, you want people to say you did a good job,” she said. “And I realised, ‘No you don’t need that, you do this because you love it,’ eventually realising that ‘I don’t need this award right here to tell me that I am enough.’ ”

Elisabeth Moss Would Give Up Her Salary to Have Meryl Streep on 'Handmaid's Tale'

    WENN/Avalon/Jaime Espinoza

The ‘Invisible Man’ actress is desperate to have her idol guest star on her television series that she would ‘do anything’ including sacrificing her TV fee.
    Mar 2, 2020
AceShowbiz – Actress Elisabeth Moss would sacrifice her TV salary on “The Handmaid’s Tale” to land Meryl Streep as a guest star.
The 37 year old hasn’t been shy about expressing her admiration for her idol Streep as she promotes her new horror film “The Invisible Man”, and she is desperate to work with the three-time Oscar winner on her dystopian drama series, based on author Margaret Atwood’s seminal 1985 novel of the same name.
“I would do anything,” gushed Moss, who also serves as an executive producer on “The Handmaid’s Tale”, which is filmed in Canada.
“I would give up my salary, I would give up other actors’ salaries! They would too, they would be into it!” she laughed on U.S. daytime show “Strahan, Sara and Keke”. “We would pool (our funds), we would go, we would personally carry her to Canada!”
However, Moss fears her obsession with Streep could land her at the receiving end of a protective order after naming the acting veteran as the person she would most like to spy on if she was invisible.
“I’ve never met her. I walked by her on the street once,” she shared. “I’ve never worked with her, obviously. I am obsessed with her… She’s a legend…”
“But I keep talking about her in interviews, and one of the big questions I get is, ‘What would you do if you were invisible?’ And I usually answer that I would watch Meryl Streep act up close, as a performer – not like, in her home or in her trailer, just watch her act. But I’m pretty convinced she’s gonna find out about this and have a restraining order against me!”

Edie Falco Refuses to 'Go Method' for Her Roles

    WENN/Instar

The former ‘Nurse Jackie’ actress says she would rather dream up her characters and use her imagination than go through transformations to ‘become’ them.
    Mar 1, 2020
AceShowbiz – Edie Falco refuses to ‘go method’ on the characters she plays on TV, because she prefers to use her imagination.
The former “The Sopranos” star can’t understand her peers who go through transformations to “become” characters, insisting it’s much more fun to dream them up.
For instance, Edie didn’t spend time with the Los Angeles Police Department while researching her latest TV role as cop boss Abigail Thomas for “Tommy”.
“I don’t know about research,” she tells WENN. “I’ve tried. I’ve been kind of pushed into it by overzealous producers and I find myself standing opposite someone who really had the job I’m supposed to be doing. I don’t find it helpful. I find it confusing. It involves a different part of my brain than the part of me that acts.”
“I’m sure some actors swear by it, and God bless them! Daniel Day-Lewis becomes the other person and is referred to by the character’s name (in between takes). Everybody works in different ways. Years ago I would’ve made up a whole story about my prep right now, but I’m over it!”
“If I was playing a cowboy, I wouldn’t think, ‘So, what would a real cowboy do?’ You’re just deeply playing. Your imagination takes over and you’re living the life of a person with different life circumstances.”

Mandy Moore Almost Gave Up Acting Before 'This Is Us'

    WENN

The ‘A Walk to Remember’ actress admits she lost her confidence and almost quit acting after struggling to land a role and getting repeatedly turned down.
    Mar 1, 2020
AceShowbiz – Mandy Moore considered quitting acting before landing her career-making role in hit U.S. TV show “This Is Us”.
The multi-talented star had been more well known for her singing than her acting in 2015, although had starred in relatively successful movies “A Walk to Remember” and “Because I Said So” by that time.
However, when it came to her future in the business, Mandy wasn’t sure she had what it takes to make it – with the constant knock-backs taking their toll.
“I had done four failed TV pilots,” she said in an interview with “CBS Sunday Morning”, airing this Sunday, March 1, 2020. “So, I was kind of at the point where I was like, ‘Maybe this acting thing is done for me.’ Like, ‘Maybe I need to hang it up and go back to Florida, go to school, go try my hand at something else.”
Luckily, Mandy persevered, and achieved a whole new fanbase through her role as Rebecca Pearson in “This Is Us”.
Elsewhere in the interview, she spoke about her marriage to Ryan Adams. The pair wed in 2009 and finalised their divorce in 2016, with the 35-year-old star admitting her troubled relationship contributed to her low self-worth.
“I just felt like I was at a point in my life where I was the most comfortable making myself the least priority, and I made myself as small as possible in order to make someone else comfortable,” she explained.

Orlando Jones Reacts After Co-Star Ricky Whittle Accuses Him of Faking Racism Claims

    Instagram

The Mr. Nancy depicter hits back at his former ‘American Gods’ co-star after the latter suggested the racism story was just Jones’ tactic to gain public sympathy.
    Mar 1, 2020
AceShowbiz – Orlando Jones shared DMs from his former co-star Ricky Whittle who plays the lead role on “American Gods”. In his private message, Whittle expressed his dissapointment towards Jones for telling the public in December 2019 that he was fired from the Starz television series because of his race.
Whittle disagreed with Jones. The British actor described the situation as “incompetence” and not “racism.” He suggested Jones only used the race card to get back at the producers because Jones was angry. He also slammed Jones for putting him and the other cast members in an awkward situation.
He accused Jones of faking his racism claims, “Using the racism card to burn ur friends house down is clever but we both know it’s just incompetence not racism & we are caught in the crossfire. U have put me and the cast in a bad situation that’s unfair. I get ur angry, I get THEY cost u money, We totally had ur back on the incompetence, but pulling the race card to insight public trolls is a bulls**t tactic & u know it.”
“I’m proud of all the powerful ethnic stories we are telling this season & yes I wish you were still here,” Whittle added. “Honesly, I hope to remain friends but have to say what ur causing is upsetting & im disappointed.”
While Whittle wrote a lenghty message, Jones responded with a very short message. “So am I,” so he replied to Whittle’s disappointment.
Whittle responded by admitting Jones “wrote some beautiful stuff and really helped get us through a tough season 2,” but he insisted he and the other cast members just didn’t understand “where the racism card comes in.”
Getting no reply from Jones, he eventually wrote another message, “I know you’re just looking after you and yours, I respect that. Good luck, we always have love for you man and hope you get what you want fella #bless.”
Jones chose to respond to Whittle publicly. He scoffed at his former co-star, saying it was a little too late for Whitte to reach out to him. “This person didn’t call me in September when I was fired or November or December. Has my cell, email, WhatsApp etc,” he revealed, adding that Whittle only sent him DMs because of the SAG investigation.
Jones continued to put Whittle on blast over his seemingly fake concerns, “This man has no idea what transpired between me, Freemantle and Starz. Nvr asked. Nvr cared. Now he says he’s ‘caught in the crossfire.’ He also says, ‘I’m using the racist card to burn ur friends house down.’ ”
He mocked, “Holy s**t! Wait, we’re friends? Yay!”

Orlando Jones hits back at Ricky Whittle
He continued, “I’m so sorry my firing is SO upsetting to ‘we.’ When RodneyB & I were fixing ‘we’ in s2. ‘We’ was powerless & thankful. What makes u think ‘we’ experience as actors was anything like mine as an actor, writer, producer? How is my life, just like your lives? How are ‘we’ & me alike?”
