'Jersey Shore': DJ Pauly D and JWoww Cozying Up in Bed in New Trailer

    MTV

Should they be romancing each other for real, it will not be the first time for the pair to be romantically linked as they hooked up on the MTV reality show over a decade ago.
    Feb 29, 2020
AceShowbiz – Newly-divorced Jenni “JWoww” Farley may not have to wait for a long time to find a new love. New promo for “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” hints at a blossoming romance between her and co-star Paul “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio as they appears to be having a heated moment at Angelina Pivarnick’s wedding.
In the trailer, which was released on Friday, February 28, Pauly can be heard saying in voiceover, “When I get the green light, me and Jenni.. We are going to hook up!” with Jenny declaring her love to Pauly during a chat with Angelina, who responds, “I know he has feelings for you.”
Elsewhere in the trailer, Jenni and Pauly are seen cozying up in her hotel bed with Pauly literally on top of her. Jenni then pulls Pauly into her before the latter kisses her on her lips.

Should they hook up for real, it will not be the first time for the pair to be romantically linked as they hopped up on “Jersey Shore” a decade ago. Back in April 2019, Pauly talked about the possibility of him dating Jenni following her divorce from Roger Mathews.
“She’s a great girl, she’s awesome,” he told Us Weekly. “But she is like a sister to us, she’s like family. I wouldn’t want to cross that line again.”
His “Double Shot at Love” co-star Vinny Guadagnino also agreed as he said, “That’s like my older sister at this point. We never really had that thing.”
As for him throwing a 33rd birthday party for Jenni, the 38-year-old said, “She had no idea. You know how hard it is to keep a surprise from her?” adding that it was “awesome” to throw Jenni a birthday bash. “She pays attention to everything. … It was so, so hard,” he continued.
“I am still in shock,” Jenni said following the surprise birthday party. “I feel so special! Shout out to @illuminationpr and @djpaulyd for the ultimate surprise party & @harrahsresort #martoranosac for making it such a great night and everyone for coming.” A source previously revealed to Us Weekly that the reality TV star “was so happy and in great spirits and was truly blown away by the surprise.”

America Ferrera Bows Out of 'Superstore', Wishes Continued Success for the Show

    Instagram

The ‘Ugly Betty’ star, who is expecting her second child with husband Ryan Piers Williams, confirms her departure days after the series was renewed for season 6.
    Feb 29, 2020
AceShowbiz – Pregnant actress America Ferrera is checking out of hit comedy “Superstore” after five years on the show.
The “Ugly Betty” star, who is expecting her second child with husband Ryan Piers Williams, will bow out as big box retail employee Amy at the end of the current fifth season, just days after the series was renewed for a sixth run on U.S. network NBC.
In a statement, Ferrera, who also serves as an executive producer and occasional director on the show, writes, “The last five years on Superstore have been some of the most rewarding, enriching and enjoyable years of my career.”
“Producing, directing and acting with this wonderful cast and crew has given me opportunities to grow as a person and storyteller. I’m so grateful to my partners at NBC and Universal Television for the support and belief they have always placed in the show, and I’m most thankful to the brilliant Justin Spitzer for creating the funny, smart and relevant world of Superstore and inviting me to be a part of it.”
“As I start the next chapter for my family and career, I wish only the best, and much continued success, to my beloved Superstore family.”

Lisa Katz and Tracey Pakosta, co-presidents of scripted programming at NBC Entertainment, add, “America’s immeasurable contributions to ‘Superstore,’ both in front of and behind the camera as well as an ambassador for the show, can’t possibly be quantified. We feel so fortunate to call her both a colleague and friend.”
“Superstore”, which co-stars Ben Feldman and Lauren Ash, also counts “Venom (2018)” director Ruben Fleischer among its executive producers.

    Interview: Say It Again, Sorry?

Say It Again, Sorry? Are a theatre company that don’t think theatre should be experienced from the comfort of your seat. Instead they hope to inspire and encourage people not only to be in the audience, but to be involved with all aspects of the show. Inbetween rehearsals, Everything Theatre caught up with the team to discuss their upcoming show, and how they plan to get the audience to take part.
You’ve got two shows in the pipeline for 2020, want to tell us a little about them?
Firstly, we have our interactive theatre production, The Importance of Being… Earnest?  A twist on Wilde’s classic play where the entire audience and cast come together to create the best live theatre show possible, after the star actor playing Ernest fails to arrive on cue. The show is being streamed live across the nation so the show must go on. It’s reflective of the audience who participate – which means it is different every night. Audience members are cast in lead roles and encouraged to break every theatre ‘rule’ they’ve most likely ever been told or adhered to. The show has been likened to a delicious mixture of The Play That Goes Wrong, Austentatious and Shit-faced Shakespeare  .
Second, we have Easel Peasel, an interactive art show which offers everyone the opportunity to express their inner Picasso! It is a joyous production that’s been performed at festivals such as Glastonbury, Wilderness and The Big Draw Festival since its creation in 2018 and will be on tour again this summer. Everyone that takes part is invited back to a pop-up exhibition to see their artwork displayed. A public vote will pick one lucky winner to receive not only the Peasel’s Choice Award but also an arts bundle sponsored by CASS ART.
And how difficult is it to be working on two productions at the same time, especially as both are completely different in what they are offering the audience?
It is a challenge. Especially with cast often performing in both productions throughout the year. We are very lucky that we have a large core team – each company member has different roles to support each other and the smooth running of each project. Louise Goodfield is the Producer for Easel Peasel which allows the Artistic Director, Simon Paris to focus on The Importance of Being…Earnest?  The nature of the industry means that multiple shows and projects are a necessity, especially if a company wants to create new work and balance the books financially. You have to adapt and plan long-term strategies.
You run open rehearsals for your shows, do you feel this helps to make acting more accessible?
In our experience, yes. Not just acting, it also makes the creative process of theatre-making more accessible too. It allows a wonderful variation of experience in the room. With ‘closed rehearsals’ there is no way to learn what goes on in a rehearsal room unless you pay a fee or already know someone in the company. Closed rehearsals do have their uses, but it also means the show can only become the sum of who is present in the room. Allowing people to give feedback and participate allows more voices to have a say on aspects we may have missed because we are so involved in the project. At the same time, allowing others to be part of the process can build relationships, confidence and trust between audiences and theatre-makers.
Your shows have a lot of audience participation, is this risky if you don’t get a very reactive audience to play to? And would you still recommend your shows to people who just want to sit at the back with their head down to avoid being drawn in
Opening up a show in this way is always a risk but the skill is in how the actors cultivate an atmosphere where someone wants to be reactive, and how even being unreactive is also the right choice in the moment if needs be; the show can change someone’s mind about themselves as an audience and about interactive theatre in itself.
We would definitely recommend our show to anyone! There are varying levels of interaction, some interactive moments you won’t even have to leave your seat – others will include full make-up and costume, so there is something for everyone. Even watching one of your friends or family members on stage who is a little more confident is hilarious enough for us to recommend to those who are a little shy. Audience members will never be forced to do anything against their will but we’ve had many people coming to the show that have said ‘I don’t want to be picked or interacted with’ and then after the show are very enthusiastic about how much fun they had getting involved. It is hard for us to convince anyone before they have actually seen it, that it is for everyone. In this respect, we can only let our work and our audiences speak for us. They often tweet us afterwards! The show is clearly advertised as interactive, the game is not hidden so it won’t be a huge surprise (we hope!).
Easel Peasel is certainly a very different affair, it looks more like an art class, is that a fair assessment?
It’s more of an experience than a class, an opportunity for people to express themselves before they have the chance to judge what they are doing or decide whether their creations are good or not. People are often surprised with what great paintings they have managed to create in such a short amount of time. Then allowing other people to see and appreciate their art allows the audience to feel a sense of release and accomplishment that they have put something ‘out there’, just for the sake of creating.
With the audience being encouraged to paint their masterpieces on a portable easel, are you constantly surprised by the quality (or not) of what is produced?
Yes! We are so glad you asked that question. People can be incredibly imaginative with very few tools. We are lucky to witness the creativity of each individual that we come across. Sometimes you cannot tell the ages of any of the artists, we only give people five minutes to create something, and for most – this is exactly what they need to create something bold and fantastic!
What are the plans for the coming year with both the current shows?
The Importance of Being… Earnest? will open at The Omnibus Theatre in Clapham 10th March -15th March. It then heads to Brighton Fringe at the Warren (The Hat) 6th-8th May and from there, to Edinburgh Festival Fringe for the entirety of August.
We are currently programming Easel Peasel for a UK festival tour and hope to take the show to Edinburgh Festival Fringe with CASS ART to the Royal Mile as a companion to The Importance of Being… Earnest?
And finally, do you have any other mad ideas lined up for your next production that you want to share with us?
Haha! Yes, we are very excited you called them mad – the madder the better! We are very keen to test the very boundaries of what we have already created and step further into the unknown. There are talks of creating a children’s show at the moment and a large-scale outdoor production.
    Watch this space.
The Importance of Being… Earnest? will be at Omnibus, Clapham from 10 to 15 March. Tickets available at https://www.omnibus-clapham.org/the-importance-of-being-earnest/
It will then run at Brighton Festival 6 – 8 May, tickets at https://www.otherplaceticketing.co.uk/5473/the-importance-of-being-earnest More

Gwyneth Paltrow Hates Her Movie 'Shallow Hal'

    20th Century Fox

The ‘Avenger: Endgame’ actress names the 2001 critically-panned romantic comedy fronted by comedian Jack Black as her ‘least favorite’ film in her catalogue.
    Feb 29, 2020
AceShowbiz – Gwyneth Paltrow’s 2001 comedy “Shallow Hal” is her “least favourite” movie she’s worked on.
The Oscar-winning actress opened up on her career in a ‘BFF Test’ sponsored by Netflix’s “The Goop Lab” – which gives an inside look at the “Avengers: Endgame” star’s celebrated lifestyle brand.
Gwyneth was partnered with her assistant and close friend, Kevin Keating, and when he was asked to name his pal’s “least favourite performance,” Keating immediately guessed “Shallow Hal”, as the star added, “Exactly.”
“I’m not sure who told you to do that one. But it wasn’t me. Not around for that,” said Keating.
Gwyneth added, “That was before your time, see what happened…”
The actress appeared as Rosemary in the Farrelly brothers’ movie, which was panned at the time of release for promoting “fat discrimination.”
In the film, Jack Black plays the superficial Hal, who only falls for physically beautiful women. But after hypnosis, he sees only inner beauty and falls in love with the obese Rosemary.
Gwyneth played the physical ideal seen only by Hal, and wore a bodysuit for her performance as the plus-size character Rosemary.

Daniel Craig Admits to Faking High Speed Chase Scenes in 'No Time to Die'

    Universal Pictures

The James Bond actor is not allowed to do his own stunts because driving while acting is deemed too dangerous in his final outing as the British 007 superspy agent.
    Feb 28, 2020
AceShowbiz – Daniel Craig was banned from driving James Bond’s iconic Aston Martin DB5 as he shot his final movie in the franchise, “No Time to Die”.
The star is departing his role as 007 after five movies and, in a chat with Top Gear magazine, he explained that he couldn’t drive and act at the same time as it was seen to be too dangerous, so his stunt driver Mark Higgins would take his place while filming high speed chase scenes.
“You know we fake it, don’t you? We’re not allowed to do that any more, although I do go driving,” the star, 51, said.
However, he added, “I was allowed to doughnut the DB5 in Matera (Italy), which was great,” referencing the move which involves spinning the car around in a tight, circular motion.
The safety measure was a likely a relief for Craig, who fell awkwardly and broke his ankle while sprinting for a scene filmed in Jamaica last May 2019, and he was required to undergo minor surgery to fix the injury.
He took two weeks off to recuperate, but was soon back in action, and later insisted he was fighting fit as he returned to set to complete work on the flick.
“No Time to Die” hits theatres in April.

Offset to Go Undercover on 'NCIS: Los Angeles'

    Instagram

The Migos star, who reached out to series regular LL Cool J for his acting debut on the police procedural series, will have his new song ‘Danger’ premiered in the same episode he’s set to appear.
    Feb 28, 2020
AceShowbiz – Rapper Offset is joining the CIA to play an undercover agent on “NCIS: Los Angeles”.
He will make his acting debut in the show’s current 11th season, joining series stars Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J’s characters to save a special agent being held captive, according to TMZ.
In a special behind-the-scenes video, hip-hop star-turned-actor LL reveals Offset reached out to him about making a guest appearance on “NCIS: Los Angeles”.
“Offset and I, we’ve been talking on and off,” LL explains in the clip. “He kinda came to me and was like, ‘Yo, I’d like to be involved with it.’ ”
“One thing led to another and they (producers) did their process, went through their thing, and here we are.”
And LL credits the Migos member with seeking to challenge himself by avoiding typecasting, “When you’re (a) rap artist, they think you’re gonna play a gangster or you’re gonna play a thug… and he’s completely away from all of that… He’s completely breaking type, which I think is great.”

Offset, real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus, made sure to do his homework before shooting the desert scenes, so he could prove his acting talents.
“I wanted to be able to show that I could do anything that someone sets in front of me,” he says. “I was studying it because I wanted to make sure I could fill the whole role. I’m doing all my own stunts!”
In addition to making his acting debut, Offset, whose wife Cardi B made her acting debut in hit 2019 movie “Hustlers”, will also have his new track, “Danger”, receive its world premiere in the episode, which is set to air in the U.S. on Sunday, March 01.

Eva Marcille Prays for NeNe Leakes Not Being 'Phased Out' of 'RHOA': It'd Be 'Sad'

    Bravo

While Eva seems to be against the idea of NeNe leaving the show, NeNe’s nemesis on the Bravo series Kenya Moore appears to be more than happy should it happen.
    Feb 28, 2020
AceShowbiz – The lack of NeNe Leakes’ screen time in current season 12 of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” sparks speculations about her being “phased out” by Bravo. NeNe has shut down the rumors, and co-star Eva Marcille has also addressed the rumors, alluding that she can’t really imagine “RHOA” with NeNe.
“I pray not. I hope not. Now that would be sad. That would be a sad day for Housewives, because NeNe is NeNe,” she tells HollywoodLife.com. She also notes that NeNe has been on the show “since day one,” referring to first season premiere back in 2008.
“Ups, downs, and round and round, the role has seen NeNe grow and evolve, and they root for her, and they laugh, and they know her and that’s their girlfriend,” Eva goes on saying. “And so I think she would be extremely missed. I don’t want to see her go, because who’s going to fill those kind of shoes?”
While Eva seems to be against the idea of NeNe leaving the show, NeNe’s nemesis Kenya Moore appears to be more than happy should it happen. “Oh, well, I guess she’d need to ask Bravo why they’re cutting her out of many episodes of this season,” Kenya said during her appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” earlier this month. “I’m not the one behind the editing, you know. I’m not the one behind doing the editing.”
“You’re saying that she’s being phased out?” Andy asked, to which Kenya responded, “I think she is. That’s not something I can absolutely say. I mean, if you’re being cut out of episodes, clearly the sign is…,” before Andy cut her off.
“But I don’t think she’s being cut out of episodes because I think everything that was shot with NeNe was in the show,” Andy said. “We’re not cutting anything. … I’m saying that everything shot–there’s nothing that’s been left out.”
NeNe doubled down Andy’s remarks, tweeting, “I HAVE NOT been cut out of any episodes! I negotiated my episodes just like everyone else did! I’m getting every dime i asked for! Thank you for asking and clearing that up @andy That means a lot to me.”
