'The Real' Co-Host Amanda Seales Goes Off on 'Extra' for Bringing Up Jeannie Mai Rumored Feud

    Warner Bros. Television

That is not the only time that Jenn Lahmers appears to piss Seales off in an interview with other ‘The Real’ co-hosts as she calls her ‘newbie’ while talking about the daytime talk show hitting its 1000th episode.
    Feb 22, 2020
AceShowbiz – “The Real” co-hosts were celebrating for the show’s 1000th episode and stopped by “Extra TV” for an interview with Jenn Lahmers. As they talked about the exciting milestone that the daytime talk show hit, things went well during the interview. However, that changed after Lashmers brought the topic of alleged tension between Amanda Seales and fellow co-host Jeannie Mai up to the discussion.
At one point, Lashmers pointed out to Seales, “You and Jeannie have butted heads on a couple of topics…,” before Seales quickly cut her off . “Have we? Stop… No because you know what…,” Seales snapped.
“It comes with the territory, right?” Lashmers continued to ask, to which Seales responded, “That’s not the territory we’re coming from. We’re not butting heads. And I think it’s very, very important, especially at a table of diverse women….” Mai agreed and encouraged Seales to continue explaining, saying, “Say it.”
“…to very clearly delineate the difference between having a difference of opinion than butting heads. You’ll know when I’m butting heads because when I butt heads, there’s only going to be one head standing and as you can see, we’re still here,” Seales added. Seales and Mai then quietly toasted one another.

That was not the only time that Lashmers appeared to piss Seales off. Earlier in the interview, Lashmers said, “1,000 episodes. Does it feel like it’s six seasons, already?..I mean not for you because you’re a newbie.” Seales looked at the camera and deadpanned, “But I been in this game for a long time.” Co-host Loni Love could also be seen assuring Seales by holding Seales’ hands and giving her a nod of approval.

John Krasinski Admits to Be Struggling After the End of 'The Office'

    WENN/Brian To

Confessing that he was not genuinely prepared for life after the hit TV series, the star and director of ‘A Quiet Place’ claims that casting directors were ‘afraid’ to work with certain cast members.
    Feb 22, 2020
AceShowbiz – John Krasinski struggled to adapt to life after “The Office” came to an end as casting directors were “afraid” to work with alumni from the show.
The actor played the beloved character, Jim Halpert, for nine seasons on the hit TV series, which came to an end in 2013 – something he told Esquire he “wasn’t prepared” for.
“‘The Office’ was so big at the time, but I think a lot of people were afraid to cast certain cast members in anything else because they were just known as that one thing, which I completely understood,” he said. “It wasn’t an aggressive anger towards it. It was just a reality that I think I wasn’t, if I’m honest, genuinely prepared for.”

However, the “A Quiet Place” star confessed he would “absolutely love to do” a reunion special with stars including Jenna Fischer, Rainn Wilson and Ellie Kemper if the opportunity arose, adding: “‘The Office’ was absolutely everything to me. I mean it is my beginning and my end. I’m pretty sure at the end of my career I’ll still be known for Jim. That was my first experience with Hollywood. It was the first creative family I’ve ever had.”
The 40-year-old continued: “In many ways, they will always be the most important people in that most important experience in my career. So yeah, if they did a reunion, I would absolutely love to do it.”

Bette Midler Dubs Donald Trump 'Parasite' After President's Jab at the Movie's Oscars Win

    WENN/Instar

The ‘First Wives Club’ star calls out President Trump after he criticized the South Korean movie’s Best Picture win at this year’s Academy Awards during his rally in Colorado.
    Feb 22, 2020
AceShowbiz – Bette Midler, an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump, wouldn’t let it slide after he made a controversial remark about the critically-acclaimed movie “Parasite”. The actress has unleashed a powerful strike at the president for criticizing the Bong Joon Ho-directed movie’s Best Picture win at this year’s Academy Awards.
Making a pun with the movie’s title, the “Hocus Pocus” star labeled the president a real-life “parasite” on her clapback. She tweeted on Friday, February 21, “At his rally, #Trump complained about #Parasite winning the Oscar. I’m more upset that a parasite won the White House.”

Bette Midler claps back at Trump after he criticized ‘Parasite’ Best Picture win at Oscars.
Trump took a jab at “Parasite” Oscars win during a rally campaign in Colorado Springs, Colorado on Thursday, February 20, taking issue with the fact that a non-American movie took the coveted award. “How bad were the Academy Awards this year?” he asked his supporters before saying, “And the winner is… a movie from South Korea! What the hell was that all that about?”
He continued, “We’ve got enough problems with South Korea, with trade. On top of that, they give them the best movie of the year. Was it good? I don’t know. ‘Let’s get Gone With the Wind’ back, please? ‘Sunset Boulevard’. So many great movies.”
NEON, which distributes the film in North America, quickly responded to the president’s jab, firing back as tweeting, “Understandable, he can’t read.”
At the Thursday rally, Trump also attacked Brad Pitt for his political speech at the Oscars. “And then you have Brad Pitt, I was never a big fan of his. He got up, said a little wise guy thing. He’s a little wise guy,” he said of the Best Supporting Actor winner for his role in “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”.
Accepting his prize at the ceremony, Pitt said at the time, “They told me I only have 45 seconds up here, which is 45 seconds more than the Senate gave John Bolton this week.” He was referencing the former national security adviser who was not allowed to testify by the Senate during the Trump impeachment hearing.

'Friends' Reunion Special in the Works on HBO Max

    NBC

The announcement of the big news was made after stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow and others post the same promotional photo of the cast of the popular series.
    Feb 22, 2020
AceShowbiz – It’s really happening! It has been revealed that the cast of “Friends” will be reprising their roles for a reunion special that is set for HBO Max.
The announcement of the big news was made on Friday, February 21 when stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer simultaneously posted the same promotional photo of the cast. “It’s happening….” they wrote in the caption.
Matt LeBlanc also teased the reunion special. However, instead of the same photo that others posted on their respective accounts, the Joey Tribbiani depicter shared a photo of the cast of 1970 CBS Korean war set medical drama “M*A*S*H”. “i don’t remember this episode of friends,” one confused fan said in the comment section. “Joey thats no the photo!!!!” one other added.

“Of curse. Of all the 5 actors, Joey/Matt is the one to post a completely random picture,” another fan noted. Meanwhile, someone wasn’t exactly surprised because “THIS IS SUCH A YOU THING IM LIVING FOR IT.”
The special, as well as all 236 episodes of “Friends”, will be available upon the streaming service’s debut. “Guess you could call this the one where they all got back together — we are reuniting with David, Jennifer, Courteney, Matt, Lisa, and Matthew for an HBO Max special that will be programmed alongside the entire ‘Friends’ library,” said Kevin Reilly, chief content officer at HBO Max and president of TBS, TNT, and truTV, in a statement.
“I became aware of ‘Friends’ when it was in the very early stages of development and then had the opportunity to work on the series many years later and have delighted in seeing it catch on with viewers generation after generation. It taps into an era when friends – and audiences – gathered together in real time and we think this reunion special will capture that spirit, uniting original and new fans,” he added.
Ben Winston is tapped to direct the special in addition to serving as executive produce alongside “Friends” executive producers Kevin Bright, Marta Kauffman and David Crane. Also executive producing the special are Aniston, Cox, Kudrow, LeBlanc, Perry and Schwimmer with Emma Conway and James Longman on board as co-executive producers. Warner Bros. Unscripted & Alternative Television and Fulwell 73 Productions are behind the program.

John Krasinski Defends Playing 'Conservative' Characters, Insists He Has No Ulterior Motive

    WENN/FayesVision

The former member of ‘The Office’ denies speculations that he helped promote conservative politics with his onscreen military and government characters.
    Feb 21, 2020
AceShowbiz – John Krasinski has hit out at critics of his military and government characters, insisting he has no ulterior political motive within his work.
The former “The Office” star, who has played a former Navy SEAL-turned-private military contractor working in Benghazi in Michael Bay’s 2016 film “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi”, opened up about the role during an interview with Esquire.
While it was suggested to Krasinski that some viewed his movies as promoting conservative politics, the actor insisted his connection to these types of roles is genuine.
“That narrative is certainly not the narrative I intended to put out there,” the 40-year-old said, dismissing the claims. “When people look for something that they want to see, I can’t stop them from a subjective belief in something.”
He continued, “I have 11 aunts and uncles and cousins who have been in the military or still are in the military. So it was a big thing on my list to get to do a military movie or show or something.”
Krasinski currently stars as CIA agent Jack Ryan in the Amazon Prime Video series Tom Clancy’s “Jack Ryan”, and he added his affiliation with that show is also about “respect.”
“As far as Jack Ryan and the CIA, I always say it’s about the people,” he said. “I’ll always respect people who put their lives on the line for people like me, who they’ve never met.”

James Corden Has No Regret Doing 'Cats'

    Universal Pictures

The ‘Late Late Show With James Corden’ host is about his flopped movie during a game of ‘Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts’ with his guest Justin Bieber.
    Feb 21, 2020
AceShowbiz – James Corden doesn’t regret appearing in box office flop “Cats”.
Corden appeared alongside Judi Dench, Rebel Wilson, Jennifer Hudson, Taylor Swift, and Jason Derulo in the big screen adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s stage classic, which was panned by audiences and critics alike.
During a game of “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts”, where players either have to answer a question or eat something disgusting, “The Late Late Show” host was in the hot seat as guest Justin Bieber asked him, “On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you regret doing Cats.”
The star had to either eat a bit of cod sperm or answer the question and, after a few seconds deliberating, he said, “Well here’s the thing, I had the loveliest time making that film. It took me six days and I loved every single second of it. So I think you gotta decide things on your own personal experience, and I had a really great time.”
“So, I don’t regret doing it all, because I decided to do it in the same way I decided to do many things. Some have worked, some haven’t. Some I’m going to put it at a solid 5… a 4.5,” he added.
    [embedded content]
Corden previously mocked Tom Hooper’s movie at the Oscars earlier this month, February 2020, when he and Rebel donned furry cat costumes as they made their way onto the stage to present the award for Best Visual Effects.
“As cast members of the motion picture Cats, nobody more than us understands the importance of good visual effects,” they quipped, referencing the criticism directed at the anthropomorphised felines in the movie.
The Visual Effects Society labelled the skit “immensely disappointing.”

Liam Neeson Used Stunt Double for Butt Scene

    WENN/Ivan Nikolov

The ‘Taken’ actor says he used a stunt double for a butt close-up with Charlize Theron in his 2014 movie because he didn’t want the world to see his Irish bum.
    Feb 21, 2020
AceShowbiz – Liam Neeson called in his faithful stunt double for his butt close-up in “A Million Ways to Die in the West” – because he didn’t want the world to see his white Irish bum.
One scene in the comedy flop called on Charlize Theron to place a flower between Liam’s butt cheeks, but he wasn’t about to bear his rear for the cameras, so he asked his longtime on set sidekick to take one for the team.
“Mark Vanselow is my stunt co-ordinator – we’re working now on our 24th film together – and when we were doing that movie… I hate my Irish butt,” Liam said during an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live”. “I said to Mark, ‘This is a sign of our friendship, would you ever do this scene where Charlize Theron puts a daisy in your butt?’ And he said, ‘Sure.’ ”
“I gave him a big hug afterwards. I said, ‘There’s no f**king way is anybody gonna see my Irish butt!’ ”

Katy Perry Falls to the Ground Amid Gas Leak During 'American Idol' Audition

    WENN/Avalon

The ‘Firework’ hitmaker, along with crew and contestants, has to be evacuated from the Sunriver, Oregon set after she and her fellow judges smelled heavy propane in the room.
    Feb 21, 2020
AceShowbiz – Katy Perry passed out at last year’s “American Idol” auditions in Sunriver, Oregon when a gas leak occurred on set.
The “Firework” hitmaker was sitting on the panel for the TV talent show alongside co-judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan when the trio began to suspect something was wrong in the audition room.
“Do you guys smell gas? It’s pretty intense,” Katy says in a teaser clip for the episode, as Luke agrees, “We’re getting heavy propane.”
“I have a slight headache from it,” Perry adds, as she stands up to leave the studio and production begin evacuating the crew and contestants. “Oh, it’s bad. It’s really bad.”
The clip shows the fire department and ambulances arriving on the scene, and the judges remarking that they can still smell gas from outside.
“This is not a joke, there really is a gas leak,” Bryan confirms, approaching the fire truck, as “Dark Horse” star Katy tumbles to the ground from a crouched position after admitting, “I’m not feeling good.”

Last November (2019), officers from the Sunriver Fire Department shared videos and photos with the Idol coaches after they attended to the incident, which ended up being a problem in the kitchen at the Sunriver Resort.
The full ordeal will play out in Sunday’s (February 23) instalment of the show.
