    AceShowbiz – In the current season 12 of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”, Shiana White a.k.a. The Cookie Lady made a debut in the February 9 episode after Kenya Moore brought her to a bruch with other ladies including Tanya Sam. That allowed her to detail what actually happened following reports that Tanya’s long-time fiance Paul Judge flirted with her at one occasion. She received huge flack because of it, but Shiana revealed that she couldn’t care less about the backlash.
    When asked about her portrayal on the Bravo reality series, the owner of aHauteCookie in Atlanta hinted that the production edited her part to make her look bad. “I know myself and who I am at the beginning and end of the day. I also know what it takes to make a successful reality show and they have to edit to bring the drama and keep ratings,” she told TheJasmineBRAND.
    Shiana also revealed that she wasn’t bothered with the hate comments. “I grew up in South Central L.A. so I can handle the hate,” she shared. “Some of it is funny…I don’t regret ANYTHING EVER! Everything happens for a reason and it has already been written!”
    Tanya appeared to have nonchalant reaction to the whole drama, but Shiana still believed that Paul’s action to her was “inappropriate and a bit disrespectful, seeing he has a whole package at home all wrapped up tight.”
    At the end of the interview, Shiana said that she wished Tanya “would’ve had an open mind about it, seeing as how I was invited to tell her, I’m sure it made her respond how she has.” Despite everything, Shiana revealed that she was in for burying the hatchet with Tanya, admitting, “I would like to… My intention were not to hurt her.”

    Disney's 'Owl House' Called 'Demonic' by Christian Group

    The new animated series by the Mouse House receives negative reviews from the religious group who launches an online petition in an effort to get it cancelled.

    AceShowbiz – Christian activist group One Million Moms has branded new Disney cartoon series “The Owl House” “demonic” and launched a petition to have the show axed from the network.
    The animated TV series follows teenager Luz Noceda who falls through a portal into another world and befriends Eda the Owl Lady, a mage to whom she soon becomes an apprentice in order to come into her abilities and help fight evil that comes her way.
    However, the show has been poorly received by the faith group, who posted a warning about its contents online as “making light of hell.”
    They added the cartoon is “inundating young minds with secular world views that reflect the current culture” and that Disney was “stepping into the darkness” by promoting it.
    “The Bible tells us clearly in Isaiah 8:19-22 that there is a spiritual realm that is not of God,” their blog post reads. “It warns us not to participate in witchcraft or consult with mediums but to call on God. Deuteronomy 18:10-11 also warns us to avoid witchcraft in all forms.”
    A petition from the group has already amassed almost 16,000 signatures in a bid to get the show, which stars voice actors Sarah-Nicole Robles, Wendie Malick, and Alex Hirsch, cancelled.
    While Disney has yet to respond to the controversy, “The Owl House” has already been renewed for a second season.

    After receiving a lot of flack online for her aggressive behavior towards Yandy in the last episode, now Kimbella defends herself in a now-deleted Instagram comment.

    AceShowbiz – “Love & Hip Hop: New York” returned with a new episode on Monday, February 17. The new episode picked up right after the drama between Kimbella and fellow cast member Yandy Smith as the two were involved in an almost-physical altercation in the previous episode.
    Following the episode, Kimbella, who threw a drink in Yandy’s face, received a lot of flack online for her aggressive behavior. Now, she defended herself in a now-deleted Instagram comment on Monday.
    The VH1 star had a fiery response to a fan who asked her why she was so angry at Yandy. “Are you dumb?” so she clapped back at the user. “Did you not see the episode? Cuz she said I deserved it 10 years later! TF do you mean why am I mad???”
    For those who are not following, Kimbella was referring to Yandy’s remarks about Chrissy Lampkin’s “dog walking” Kimbella in the first season of the reality TV series. At the time, Yandy said that Kimbella deserved to get “beat up” by Chrissy.
    The altercation between Kimbella and Yandy took place when the two were hanging out with other cast members including Jonathan Fernandez, Jenn Coreano, Somaya Reece and Cyn Santana. In a confessional, Kim dubbed Yandy a “fake friend,” “a fake person” and a “fake businesswoman.” She appeared to not be able to control her anger as she threw her drink towards Yandy when they were all out with other cast members.
    Upon watching the episode, fans collectively slammed Kim for being jealous of Yandy. “Kimbella , girl BYE . you coming across like a bitter jealous b***h . you was holdin onto all that anger towards yandy for YEARS ?! That means you were never a real friend like you claim . #LHHNY,” one said.
    “Yandy has had ENOUGH of Kimbella!!! Please drag her lmaooooo Kim knows she only famous because of Juelz and the many, many artists she slept with. Yandy didn’t have to do any of that and she’s smart af. Girl, just admit that you’re jealous of Yandy and move on. #LHHNY,” someone else pointed out.

    AceShowbiz – Ewan McGregor and Tilda Swinton are to appear in Guillermo del Toro’s new version of “Pinocchio”, according to one of its stars, David Bradley.
    The Netflix animation, which has been in production for almost a decade, is due for release next year (2021).
    Although casting details have yet to be officially announced, “Harry Potter” star Bradley, who will play Pinocchio’s creator Geppetto, apparently let slip details of the cast in an interview with Polish outlet Na Ekranie (On the Screen).
    According to the website, Bradley says he is “involved” in the project and “you’ll be able to hear me as Geppetto” before going on to reportedly list Ewan, Tilda, Ron Perlman, and Christoph Waltz as his castmates.
    Although Disney are planning their own new version of Pinocchio, with Robert Zemeckis on board to direct, del Toro told The Hollywood Reporter he is planning a darker version of the tale, set in Fascist inter-war Italy.
    “It’s not a ‘Pinocchio’ for all the family,” he explained, adding that it was set,” during the rise of Mussolini, do the math. A puppet during the rise of fascism, yes, it is.”

    Fearing the Northern Irish action man would turn down a romantic role, which was actually created with him in mind, the film bosses turned to the rocker and asked him to get the script to the “Taken” star.
    “My old pal Bono says, ‘Read this… I couldn’t stop turning the pages’,” Liam tells “Good Morning America”. “So I thought, ‘OK, I’ll read it…’, and it was true. I literally couldn’t stop.”
    Neeson teams up with revered British actress Lesley Manville for the new movie and it was a joy to work with someone he has admired for years.

    AceShowbiz – Actress Tiffany Boone is defending her decision to quit TV series “The Chi” after making harassment allegations against co-star Jason Mitchell, confessing she wasn’t sure if she’d work again.
    The 33-year-old walked away from the hit show in November, 2018 while Mitchell was fired, pulled from a Netflix film, and dropped by his agents.
    Boone now admits several people questioned her actions and she worried that leaving the show would mark the end of her acting career.
    “You don’t carelessly leave a ‘hit show’ that is praised by your community,” she posted on Instagram on Monday, February 17. “I deeply love Chicago and the people of that city who have embraced me. I felt honored and privileged to be part of telling their story. The weight of what I was leaving behind felt like a ton, but the weight of my responsibility to speak up was even heavier.”
    “There were people who questioned my decision. How could I be sure I would work again, especially on a project of that magnitude? I wasn’t sure, but I had faith that once I took that leap I could be guided wherever I was supposed to go.”
    Tiffany previously revealed she took her concerns to TV bosses during season one of “The Chi” and when she felt her complaints weren’t being addressed, she asked to be released from her contract.
    She has since landed roles on TV shows like Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington’s upcoming series “Little Fires Everywhere”.

    “It was one of the most difficult decisions I’ve ever made but there is a freedom you are granted when you stand in your truth,” she added. “It is a freedom that allows you to experience things you never thought were possible. It has allowed me to experience myself, my strength and my capacity to love in new ways.”

    AceShowbiz – The biggest night of “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” is finally here. On Monday, February 17, season 2 of the NBC show would crown its winner among the final acts, including V. Unbeatable, Duo Transcend, Angelina Jordan, The Silhouettes, Tyler Butler-Figueroa, Marcelito Pomoy, Sandou Trio Russian Bar, Alexa Lauenburger, Hans and Boogie Storm.
    After KISS kicked off the night with a performance of “Rock and Roll All Night”, V. Unbeatable returned to the stage to offer their final performance. That night, they joined forces with Travis Barker who played drums behind them.
    Following it up were Angelina, Tyler alongside sand artist and “AGT” alum Kseniya, who hit the stage for a stunning performance. Later, The Silhouttes and “AGT” season 5 finalist Lindsey Stirling united to give an emotional performance.
    The night also saw “AGT: The Champions” season 1 winner Shin Lim returning for the second time. He merged his skills with “AGT” alum Colin Cloud for an epic stage performance. “AGT” season 14 winner Kodi Lee then serenaded everyone with a gorgeous rendition of “Sign of the Times” by Harry Styles.
    Now it was time for the results. Duo Transcend, V. Unbeatable, Tyler Butler-Figueroa, Marcelito Pomoy and Sandou Trio Russian Bar were named as the Top 5 acts. The fifth place finisher was Sandou Trio Russian Bar with Marcelito Pomoy coming in the fourth place. Tyler was later announced as the third place winner.
    It left Duo Transcend and V. Unbeatable. Eventually, V. Unbeateable was named as the winner of current season 2 of “AGT: The Champions”.

    AceShowbiz – “The Bachelor” season 24 returned on Monday, February 17 for the long-awaited hometown dates. The episode saw Peter Weber visiting the hometowns of the Top 4, Victoria Fuller, Madison Prewett, Hannah Ann Sluss, and Kelsey Weier, in order to meet their families.
    It kicked off with Peter and Hannah Ann heading to Knoxville, Tennessee to meet her family. At Hannah Ann’s house, Peter met her mom and dad as well as her siblings. Peter then had a sit down with her mother, telling her that Hannah Ann told him that she was starting to fall in love with him. The mother said to Peter that she just wanted her daughter happy.
    Later, it was time for Peter to talk with Hannah Ann’s dad and it wasn’t easy. Her dad was extremely guarded. He asked Peter about his relationship with the other women and he told her dad that there was something real between him and Hannah Ann. He also revealed that he planned to tell her tonight that he was falling in love with her since he didn’t want Hannah Ann doubted his feelings. However, her dad told him not to say that to her unless he really meant it.
    During their time alone, Peter told Hannah Ann that her father was a good man and he respected him. He then told her that he was falling in love with her, and they kissed.
    The next hometown date was in Des Moines, Iowa, Kelsey’s hometown. That night, Peter met Kelsey’s mom Beth, his stepdad Mike and sisters Kalason and Kayla. Beth said to Peter that it must be hard for Kelsey to open up about her dad. She asked Peter not to break her daughter’s heart. Kelsey’s mom then added that he had her full support.
    Peter later headed to Auburn, Alabama for a hometown date with Madison. The pair went to the the basketball arena and they shoot hoop-ed with head coach Bruce Pearl before meeting her family. During the meeting, they told Peter that they had a tradition where they sang praises for whoever had the “special plate.” Maddie was then given the plate and Peter shared that she inspired him every time they were together.
    Madison’s mom then privately asked her if she had brought the intimacy issue with Peter because it made Madison feel uncomfortable. Meanwhile, Peter told Madison’s dad that he was willing to make an effort to be the man that Madison deserves. Her dad wanted Peter to say that he believed that Madison was the one for him and he couldn’t really do that.
    The last hometown visit was in Virginia Beach where Peter met Victoria’s parents. However, before it started, the two accidentally met his ex-girlfriend Merissa Pence, who later warned him that Victoria wasn’t good for him.
    Peter later confronted Victoria about what Merissa told him earlier and that made Victoria defensive. She accused Peter of thinking that what Merissa alleged about her was more important than meeting her parents. That led to Peter having a complicated feelings the next morning. Peter later told her he couldn’t make any decisions right now and he left without meeting Victoria’s family.
    At the rose ceremony, rather unexpectedly, Peter gave the roses to Hannah Ann, Madison and Victoria. That meant that Kelsey was sent home.
