    People hope to find the love of their life by joining ABC’s long-running dating show “The Bachelor”. While some of Bachelor Nation eventually did find their soulmate after appearing on the show, some others were not so lucky when it comes to that.

    Despite drama and breaking others’ heart in the process, some couples ended their relationship in such a short time. A few of them only lasted for five months, while one couple even called it quits after dating for two days.

    1. Clare Crawley and Dale Moss

    Clare Crawley and Dale Moss fell in love so fast and split just as fast. The pair made a history by getting engaged only two weeks into the filming of Clare’s “The Bachelorette” season. However, their relationship crumbled down rather quickly with the former football athlete announcing their breakup five months after he popped the question to Clare.

    Taking to his Instagram account, Dale wrote, “I wanted [to] share with you all that Clare and I have decided to go our separate ways. We appreciate the love and support we’ve received from so many people, but this is the healthiest decision for both of us at this time.” He added, “We strongly believe in leading with love and always remaining true to oneself – something our families have taught and instilled in us throughout our lives. We only hope the best things for one another.”

    2. Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell

    Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell didn’t get engaged at the finale of Matt’s season of “The Bachelor”, but they declared their love for each other. Apparently, they didn’t have a chance to bring their romance to the next level due to Rachael’s scandal over her past racist behavior.

    Matt shockingly announced that she broke up with Rachael during “After the Final Rose” which was filmed and aired in March 2021, three months after they filmed the finale. “We’re not [together],” Matt said on “After the Final Rose”. “It’s heartbreaking. If you don’t understand that something like that is problematic in 2018, there’s a lot of me that you won’t understand. It’s as simple as that.”

    3. Becca Kufrin and Arie Luyendyk Jr.

    Arie Luyendyk Jr. was probably the least favorite Bachelor in the franchise history. During his season 22 of the show, Arie proposed to Becca Kufrin in the finale while eliminating his runner-up Lauren Burnham.

    However, less than two months later he admitted to Becca in front of camera that he had just realized that his heart was for Lauren. Arie and Lauren eventually got married in January 2019. They share a daughter together and are currently expecting their second child.

    4. Hannah Ann Sluss and Peter Weber

    Peter Weber and Hannah Ann Sluss got engaged in November 2019 after meeting in season 24 of “The Bachelor”. However, the pair’s romance didn’t last long as the pilot confessed by the end of January 2020 that he still had lingering feelings for another lady in his season, Madison Prewett.

    “I never intended to give my heart to two people. I never intended that,” Peter told Hannah Ann. “And the pain that come with that. I’ve just been battling it. And I haven’t hid anything from you. I’ve told you everything. Even when I don’t deserve it, you never left me. You’ve always stood by me. You’ve always given me that love.”

    5. Hannah Brown and Jed Wyatt

    At the end of her “The Bachelorette” season, Hannah Brown was a happily engaged woman after Jed Wyatt proposed to her. However, it all came to a crashing halt once she found out that Jed left a girlfriend when he joined the show.

    “It was heartbreaking,” Hannah admitted in an interview with PEOPLE. She added, “The foundation of what I believe love is is based on honesty and truth. If he loved me, wanted the best for me, why did he not give that to me? He always said he never wanted to hurt me, but he hurt me worse than anybody else did.” She was only engaged to Jed for five weeks before she decided to call it quits.

    6. Aaron Buerge and Helene Eksterowicz

    Aaron Buerge and Helena Eksterowicz once were a happy engaged couple. The pair had such a rough relationship as they broke off their engagement not only once but twice and they were all short-length. According to Helene, she first broke off their engagement two months after Aaron popped the question to her during the filming in September 2002, noting that she caught him ogling another woman.

    However, they managed to get back together and Aaron even proposed to her again when they watched the finale on TV together. The happy ending didn’t last long because Aaron had the most shocking way to end their romance five weeks after the episode aired. He took her to a Starbucks near her New Jersey home to tell her he was no longer “invested” in their relationship. “It felt like a bomb dropped. I said, ‘I feel very deceived by you. You’ve told me every single day that you love me, and now this is it?’ ” Helene recalled. Meanwhile, Aaron insisted that “it was just the best decision” for both of them.

    7. Jason Mesnick and Melissa Rycroft

    Jason Mesnick is another The Bachelor who appeared to not be able to figure his own feelings ahead of the finale of his season. He proposed to Melissa Rycroft in season 13 finale only to tell her one month later that he still had feelings for runner up Molly Malaney during “After the Final Rose”.

    “To say that we went into that After the Final Rose in an absolutely perfect place is a lie. [But] had we completely severed ties and broken up? No!” Melissa shared of the split. “You could have at least warned a chick before he walked out here. We talked minutes before I went out on that stage, and he never said anything.”

    8. Jesse Palmer and Jessica Bowlin

    Jesse Palmer and Jessica Bowlin didn’t manage to save their relationship. In the finale of Jesse’s “The Bachelor” season, he famously gave his intended, Jessica Bowlin, an airline ticket to New York. However, just one month after the episode aired, the couple revealed that they decided to go separate ways.
    “Jessica and I shared an incredible romantic journey on the show that began with a friendship that remains strong today. We simply realized that, individually, our next steps take us in different directions,” the New York Giants backup quarterback said in a statement. As for Jessica, she said of the split, “With too much distance and too little time these were not ideal circumstances in which to start a relationship. Jesse is a great guy and has a wonderful family. Who knows what the future holds?”

    9. Bob Guiney and Estella Gardinier

    Bob Guiney presented Estella Gardinier the final rose at the finale of his “The Bachelor” season back in November 2003. However, the pair’s romance came to an end in a rather nasty way as Bob broke up with her over the phone just one month after the sweet moment.

    “He’s not the person I thought he was,” Estella said. I don’t see any reason to ever have a conversation with him. The path that I’m taking is different from Bob’s. He’s a big-time star now! He’s big-time, so my life doesn’t compare to that.”

    10. Madison Prewett and Peter Weber

    Peter Weber broke Hannah Ann’s heart just to be with Madison. They did get together after the whole drama but their romance came to a halt just two days after their “After the Final Rose” interview. It appeared that Peter’s mom had something to do with the split as she’s against Madison.

    “Madi and I have mutually decided to not pursue our relationship any further,” Peter announced. “Believe me this was not easy for either of us to be OK with, but after a lot of honest conversations, we have agreed that this is what makes most sense for the two of us. The love and respect I have for Madi will continue to endure.”

    Carole Baskin believes she was the victim of a “mob mentality” off the back of her appearance on Netflix’s “Tiger King” docuseries.

    The 59-year-old animal rights activist shot to fame on the show last year (20) but quickly became the target of abuse, which Carole believes is a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic and the “uprising of mob mentality.”

    She told Netflix.co.uk, “In the past year, I’ve seen this mob mentality take over in every aspect, everywhere we’re seeing this really huge uprising of mob mentality.”

    “I don’t know what’s causing that other than the fact that we’re all sharing in the same pandemic and we’re all afraid. I believe it’s causing people to do and say certain things, and to join into certain groups or cliques. I feel that actually had a big part of why I got so much hate from people that don’t know anything about me.”

    Carole’s arch-nemesis, zoo owner Joe Exotic, who also featured in “Tiger King” – has been jailed for attempting to hire a hitman to murder her, but Carole received abuse over an episode of the show which looked at the mysterious disappearance of her second husband, Don Lewis.

    She said, “If people had been paying attention, they would have noticed that the sheriff’s office said I’ve never even been a person of interest in the disappearance of my husband. Yet not the takeaway that people came away with after watching the show.”

    “In Tiger King, all of those bad guys and people who were abusing animals kept saying ‘Everything that happens is Carol Baskin’s fault.’ ”

    New mum Meghan Trainor has scored a dream-come-true deal to develop and star in her own sitcom. The “All About That Bass” singer has signed with NBCUniversal Television and Streaming Entertainment bosses for a comedy series, according to Variety.

    Meghan’s deal will also include other potential projects across scripted and unscripted content for U.S. outlets, including Bravo, E!, Oxygen and NBCU’s new streaming site Peacock.

    “In addition to being a phenomenally talented performer, Meghan is a vibrant and hilarious ray of light who is the perfect fit for NBC’s brand,” NBCUniversal chairman Susan Rovner says. “We love the idea of introducing Meghan into the world of scripted comedy as well as working with her to find all the creative and crazy ways she can engage with fans across our brands.”

    Meghan has called the deal “so beyond a dream come true,” adding, “I’m obsessed with and inspired by Susan and can’t wait to work with her and her incredibly talented team to bring our ideas to life.”

    Sharing her excitement over the deal online, the “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” singer posted a screenshot of Variety’s article. Along with it, she wrote, “2021 so far: became a mom and joined the incredible @nbc family! let’s goooo! @peacocktv @bravotv @eentertainment @usa_network @SYFY @oxygen thank you to Susan Rovner and my amazing team for making this happen.”

    The news comes just over a month after Meghan welcomed her first child, a baby boy named Riley.

    Plot details surrounding the singer’s new comedy series have not been released and there’s no word if it will feature her actor husband Daryl Sabara.

    Fans apparently won’t see Vicki Gunvalson on new “Real Housewives” spin-off. “The Real Housewives of Orange County” alum revealed on Friday, March 19 that she wouldn’t be on the upcoming series even though she previously claimed that she signed a contract for it.

    She made the revelation in a now-deleted post as she responded to Tamra Judge’s Q&A post. “Repost this if you think it’s bulls**t Vicki isn’t on HW spinoff,” so Tamra wrote in her post. Totally agreeing with the post, Vicki reposted it on her own Instagram account.

    “It’s bulls**t!! I had the contract signed by both parties in FEB then Covid hit… then crickets,” the 58-year-old TV personality claimed in the post.

    This arrives after Vicki shockingly announced her departure from “RHOC” after 14 years in January 2020. “I will always be the OG of the OC, but it’s time to say goodbye to The Real Housewives of Orange County,” she wrote at the time. “It’s been an incredible ride for 14 years and I want thank all of you for your support, for your love and for ‘whooping it up’ with me along the way.”

    While details of the new spin-off series are still scarce, Page Six previously revealed that “The Real Housewives of New York City” favorite Luann de Lesseps was among the cast members for the show that will begin filming in Turks and Caicos in April. The Blast, meanwhile, reported that the series will feature between eight and ten women from the Bravo franchise.

    Melissa Gorga, Teresa Giudice, Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna are reportedly being considered for the show. “RHONY” star Sonja Morgan seemingly will appear on the show as she has been posting from Turks and Caicos on Instagram. The show will air on Peacock, the streaming service of Bravo’s parent company NBCUniversal.

    Oscar nominee Carey Mulligan feels she is always waiting for her next role because she isn’t a Marvel movie star.

    The “Promising Young Woman” actress admits it can be difficult for her to find work at times because she isn’t a producer and exciting scripts don’t always “filter down” to her, but she’s thankful she receives at least one offer for an “unmissable” project every year.

    “I just act, so I wait for the scripts…,” Carey tells The Guardian. “I don’t see a huge change yet, but I’m not the first person that would get a script necessarily, in terms of not being in a Marvel movie. So things aren’t necessarily always filtering down to me.”

    “But there’s a feeling that there are more (good roles for women) and there are people being very proactive, like (Promising Young Woman writer/director) Emerald (Fennell), like Phoebe Waller-Bridge, like Margot Robbie – women who are being very deliberate about creating new and exciting things.”

    Mulligan also reveals she was worried about taking on her latest role as a vengeful former medical student because the character wasn’t a mum.

    The actress, who shares kids Evelyn, five, and Wilfred, three, with husband Marcus Mumford, explains, “When I read the Promising Young Woman script, I felt the way that you do when you watch (Oscar-winning movie) Parasite. Constantly wrongfooted, like, ‘Oh my word, what is this?’ In a good way. I also felt the thing that I always want to feel: that I would be gutted if anyone else played this part. I had to do it, but also I didn’t know how to do it.”

    “I’d been exclusively playing mums for a bit. I had a teenage son in Wildlife and then I had children in Mudbound… and then, suddenly, I was a bit like, ‘Can you still buy me as pre-kids?’ It wasn’t anything I’d massively articulated, but I was like, ‘OK, I’m gonna be in that zone again.’ There were lots of things about it that I felt like, ‘I have no idea how to do this.’ ”

    Filmmaker Adam Wingard wants John Travolta and Nicolas Cage to reprise their characters for his “Face/Off” sequel.

    The director is overseeing a follow-up to the 1997 action film and hopes the two stars will return as FBI agent Sean Archer and terrorist Castor Troy to provide a “definitive continuation” to the original.

    “To me, Face/Off isn’t about a procedure or anything like that,” Adam told Showbiz CheatSheet. “It’s not about the world that the characters exist in. It’s about Sean Archer and it’s about Castor Troy. That’s what this movie is about. It’s the continuation of that story. It’s hard to talk about other than that but this is, to me, the definitive continuation of that saga.”

    The “Godzilla vs. Kong” director revealed Travolta and Cage are interested in the project, but they are holding out for a script, which is being written by Wingard and Simon Barrett.

    “We’re still writing the script so it’s still in early phases,” the director adds. “Simon and I are very close to turning in our draft to Paramount soon. We’ll have to get over those hurdles of, ‘Do they like this movie?’ They’ve read our outline. Everybody’s on board with it but actually turning in the script’s a different thing, so we’ll see how everybody reacts to it.”

    The original movie, directed by John Woo, revolved around Archer’s all-consuming mission to catch Troy, the man who killed his son. Taking going undercover to the extreme, Archer undergoes cutting edge facial transplant surgery, so he can take on the identity of Troy and head into prison to prevent another attack after the criminal falls into a coma.

    However, Troy unexpectedly wakes from his coma and takes on Archer’s face, which leaves the real agent desperate to stop his nemesis and reclaim his face and life.

    Wingard insists the two characters will be at the centre of the plot for the new movie.

    'The Conners' Issues Statement After Crew Member Dies on Set

    Following the heartbreaking incident, star Michael Fishman, who plays D.J. Conner on the ‘Roseanne’ spin-off, takes to his Instagram account to pay tribute to the crew member.

    Cast and crew of “The Conners” are mourning the death of a crew member. According to the representive for Werner Entertainment which produces the popular sitcom, the crew member passed away on the set after suffering a medical emergency.

    “With heavy hearts we regret to confirm that a member of our technical crew suffered a fatal medical event today,” the rep continued to share in a statement on Friday, March 19. “He was a much loved member of ‘The Conners’ and ‘Roseanne’ families for over 25 years.”

    Concluding the statement, the rep added, “As we remember our beloved colleague, we ask that you respect the privacy of his family and loved ones as they begin their grieving process.”

    TMZ reported that the unfortunate incident took place when the crew member was on stage 22 of the CBS Studio Center where they were filming for the show’s final day of production for season 3. The news outlet stated that studio paramedics were called immediately but the crew member was not be able to resuscitated. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

    Following the heartbreaking incident, star Michael Fishman took to his Instagram account to pay tribute to the crew member. He reposted a post from another grieving crew member which read, “Yesterday, we lost a dear member of our audio crew, Terrel Richmond. Today, we shoot our final episode of @theconnersabc Season 3 in loving memory of a lovely man.”

    The D.J. Conner depicter added his own message in the comment section. “We shared a stage, large portions of our lives, and we will forever be connected,” so the 39-year-old star wrote.

    “The Conners” season 3 premiered on October 21, 2020. The “Roseanne” spin-off also stars John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Lecy Goranson, Emma Kenney and more. In 2018, Roseanne Barr was fired from a new take on “Roseanne” over her controversial comments on Twitter.

    Aaron Sorkin considered turning “The Trial of the Chicago 7” into a musical.

    The 59-year-old filmmaker helmed the historical drama, which is based on the infamous 1969 trial of seven men charged by the federal government with conspiracy and inciting a riot, as a result of the counterculture protests in Chicago at the 1968 Democratic National Convention, and revealed that he approached film bosses about turning into a stage production.

    Aaron said, “People laugh at me when I say this, but there was about a year in there where I asked DreamWorks, if I could take a year and try writing Chicago as a play.”

    “And they gave me permission to and I had a really tough time doing it. But I knew in my heart that this, actually, with the right composer and lyricist, can be a great musical.”

    Aaron has penned the screenplay for acclaimed projects such as “The Social Network” and the TV series “The West Wing” and he believes there is a musicality to writing good speech for characters.

    He told Variety’s “Awards Circuit” podcast, “If you’re going to write a speech, you want the water to boil, you want to be able to get there.”

    “It’s almost like in a musical. A musical number always works best when it’s the result of words no longer being able to do the trick.”

    The director previously explained how he was “scared” of getting behind the camera on the movie because of its all-star cast, which includes Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Michael Keaton among others.

    Aaron explained, “It was scary directing Chicago 7. I only have one movie under my belt, Molly’s Game, which had three principal characters. This film has 11 stars, most of whom are leads in their own movies.”
