    AceShowbiz – Meghan Markle is getting candid in a new trailer for highly-anticipated “Oprah with Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special”. In the new promo, the Duchess of Sussex can be seen firing back at the British royals.
    “How do you feel about the palace hearing you speak your truth today?” host Oprah Winfrey asked Meghan in the dramatic teaser that was unveiled on March 3. To the question, Meghan responds by expressing her frustration with the palace.
    The wife of Prince Harry says, “I don’t know how they could expect that after all of this time, we would still just be silent if there is an active role that the firm is playing in perpetuating falsehoods about us. And if that comes with risk of losing things – I mean, there’s a lot that’s been lost already.”

    The new promo arrives after Meghan was accused of bullying members of staff at Kensington Palace. According a formal complaint made by Jason Knauf, the former communications secretary for Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, Meghan’s rude behaviour made two members of staff out of the household and undermined the confidence of a third. The “Suits” alum were also accused of leaving staff members in tears at times.
    In response to the accusations, a spokesperson for Meghan said in a statement, “The Duchess is saddened by this latest attack on her character particularly as someone who has been the target of bullying herself and is deeply committed to supporting those who have experienced pain and trauma.”
    “She is determined to continue her work building compassion around the world and will keep striving to set an example for doing what is right and doing what is good,” the statement continued.
    Meanwhile, officials at Queen Elizabeth II’s royal residence, Buckingham Palace, shared that they would “are clearly very concerned about allegations” and “will look into the circumstances outlined in the article.”
    “Members of staff involved at the time, including those who have left the Household, will be invited to participate to see if lessons can be learned. The Royal Household has had a Dignity at Work policy in place for a number of years and does not and will not tolerate bullying or harassment in the workplace,” they stated.

    Joining forces with with Nairobi-based media and edutainment startup Kukua, the ‘Us’ star has signed on to voice a character in Africa’s first kid superhero animated series.

    AceShowbiz – Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o will front Africa’s first kid superhero animated series after signing on to bring Nairobi-based Kukua’s “Super Sema” franchise to YouTube Originals.
    The series will debut online on Monday, March 8 – International Women’s Day. Lupita, who is a shareholder in Kukua, will voice a character in the series. She will also serve as an executive producer of the series.
    “I share Kukua’s goal to empower children through inspiring stories that feature characters in which the children see themselves reflected,” the “Us” star tells Deadline in a statement. “I am delighted to be a part of this talented, female-led team of purposeful creators.”
    “As a Kenyan, I couldn’t be prouder of Super Sema’s introduction to the world and the opportunities Kukua provides for our local creative community to produce entertainment that reflects our culture.”

    Speaking about Kukua’s partnership with Lupita was CEO Lucrezia Bisignani. “We are thrilled to announce that Lupita is a part of our company and our mission to empower children with the skills and capacity to dream beyond what they think is possible and to imagine and create a better world,” she said in a statement.
    The company’s founder went on to stress, “Our team couldn’t be prouder to partner with Lupita, whose voice and talent has already inspired millions across the world.”

    “Super Sema” was written by four-time BAFTA winner Claudia Lloyd and directed by Lynne Southerland, the first female African-American director for Disney. Its first eight episodes will come out simultaneously on March 8, while its remaining 12 episodes will be released over the weeks from March to April.

    AceShowbiz – Michael B. Jordan goes full action movie hero in the first official trailer of “Without Remorse”. Set in Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan universe, the original movie from Amazon Studios follows the “Creed” star’s John Kelly (a.k.a. John Clark), a highly-effective soldier who goes on a vendetta after his wife was killed in an attack that also targeted him.
    While he survived the assassination attempt, Jordan’s character couldn’t help holding grudge. “They took everything from me,” he says in the trailer. “I’m gonna make it right.” Set by the rage, John seeks to avenge the death of his loved one only to find himself inside a larger conspiracy.
    According to the official synopsis, “Without Remorse” tells the origin story of “John Kelly (a.k.a. John Clark), a U.S. Navy SEAL, who uncovers an international conspiracy while seeking justice for the murder of his pregnant wife by Russian soldiers. When Kelly joins forces with fellow SEAL Karen Greer and shadowy CIA agent Robert Ritter, the mission unwittingly exposes a covert plot that threatens to engulf the U.S. and Russia in an all-out war.”

    The explosive action thriller film is directed by Stefano Sollima (“Sicario: Day of the Soldado”) with the script written by Taylor Sheridan and Will Staples. It is based on the 1993 novel of the same name by Tom Clancy and a spin-off of the “Jack Ryan” film series.
    Brett Gelman, Jodie Turner-Smith, Jamie Bell, Jacob Scipio, Jack Kesy, Todd Lasance, Luke Mitchell and Cam Gigandet join the cast of the movie, which is set to launch globally on April 30 on Amazon Prime Video. Akiva Goldsman, Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec and Jordan serve as producers.
    John Kelly is Clancy’s second most famous creation, after Jack Ryan. The character previously has been played by Willem Dafoe in 1994’s “Clear and Present Danger” and Liev Schreiber in 2002’s “The Sum of All Fears”.

    The new season made headlines with its StripperGate in which Porsha and Tanya allegedly had a threesome with a male stripper at Cynthia’s wild bachelorette party. After grilling everyone if they also heard what she heard, she concluded that it must have been Porsha and Tanya Sam who hooked up with the stripper.
    “I heard a lot — and other people heard a lot, very specific things. Very specific things and very specific voices,” so she shared in an interview with Entertainment Tonight in December 2020. She also shared that she found it unfair “that people will call that pot-stirring.”

    AceShowbiz – Actor Titus Welliver is heading back to the Los Angeles Police Department for a new “Bosch” spin-off series.
    The star had been due to hang up his gun and badge as homicide detective Harry Bosch after the premiere of the seventh and final season of the Amazon show this summer, but now he’s been recruited to reprise his role for another chapter of the story, based on the books by bestselling author Michael Connelly.
    The spin-off will focus on an unlikely partnership between Bosch and tough attorney Honey “Money” Chandler, played by Mimi Rogers, and has been ordered to series by streaming service bosses at IMDb TV. Madison Lintz will also reprise her role as Maddie, Bosch’s teenaged daughter.

    AceShowbiz – Simon Cowell is returning to”America’s Got Talent” alongside Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Sofia Vergara.
    The new season of the long-running talent show will see the same judging panel back for the 16th series while Terry Crews will return as host.
    A press release states, “To celebrate the return of America’s favourite judging panel, “AGT” will be hosting one final nationwide ‘Last Chance Audition’ for the upcoming season on Saturday, March 6.”
    Hopefuls need to register over at AGTAuditions.com to book “a virtual audition slot” to be in with the chance of performing in front of the judges.
    Last summer (20), Kelly Clarkson – who was judged by Simon when she appeared on, and won, the first series of “American Idol” – stepped in to temporarily replace the 61-year-old music mogul, after he was rushed to hospital to undergo a six-hour surgery after falling off his electric bicycle at his home in Malibu, California.
    As a result of his injuries, he wasn’t able to appear on the panel for the first few episodes of the NBC show.

    However, Simon recently revealed he is feeling “better” now than before he broke his back in August.
    In a joint interview with his co-star Sofia, he said, “I’ve got to be honest with you, it wasn’t that bad actually breaking your back. I mean it wasn’t great for 3 to 4 weeks but after that you get through it. I had to do so much exercise now. I actually feel better than I did before the accident.”
    He then quipped, “If you want to feel healthier, break your back.”
    Simon also joked that his co-stars had a “better time” without him.
    But Sofia insisted he was wrong and claimed she had “nightmares” about his condition.
    She said, “For me I had nightmares, it was heart-breaking to me not to have Simon my first season. I thought I needed him to back me up and teach me, to guide me. I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t sleep, I lost like 6lbs, I cried myself to sleep.”
    A release date for the premiere of the 16th season of “AGT” will be confirmed in due course.

    AceShowbiz – “Soul” and “Wolfwalkers” will be the films to beat at the 48th annual Annie Awards after landing 10 nominations apiece.
    The Disney/Pixar movie about a music teacher with jazz ambitions, which features the voices of Jamie Foxx and Tina Fey, is up for the coveted Best Feature, alongside “Onward”, “The Croods: A New Age”, “The Willoughbys”, and “Trolls World Tour” while “Wolfwalkers”, based in 1650s Ireland, will compete for Best Indie Feature.
    Also included in that category are “A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon”, “Calamity Jane”, “Ride Your Wave”, and “On-Gaku: Our Sound”.
    Together, the top two nominees will also battle it out for Best Direction – Feature, Best Music – Feature, Best Production Design – Feature, Best Storyboarding – Feature, and Best Writing – Feature, among other honours.
    Meanwhile, Tom Holland (“Onward”), Nicolas Cage (“The Croods: A New Age”), and Eva Whittaker (“Wolfwalkers”) are going face-to-face for Best Voice Acting – Feature, and Ashley Tisdale has scored a nod in the TV/Media equivalent for “Phineas and Ferb the Movie”.
    The winners will be unveiled at a virtual ceremony on 16 April (21).

    The highly-anticipated television sit-down between the Duke and pregnant Duchess of Sussex and the former daytime show host is set to air for U.K. audience on ITV.

    AceShowbiz – ITV will broadcast Oprah Winfrey’s interview with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
    The 67-year-old American chat show legend has filmed the couple’s first major interview since stepping away from the British royal family, and now the U.K. network has confirmed it will air on March 8 at 9pm, as well as being made available on the ITV Hub.
    Kevin Lygo – ITV’s Managing Director Media and Entertainment – commented, “This interview is already a national talking point and ITV is pleased to be able to offer U.K. audiences the opportunity to see it.”
    The TV event sees Winfrey speaking to Meghan – who is pregnant with her second child, a sibling for 21-month-old Archie – in a “wide-ranging interview” dealing with marriage, motherhood, life as a royal, her philanthropic work and more.
    A previous statement from CBS confirming the news of the interview read, “Winfrey will speak with Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, in a wide-ranging interview, covering everything from stepping into life as a Royal, marriage, motherhood, philanthropic work to how she is handling life under intense public pressure.”

    “Later, the two are joined by Prince Harry as they speak about their move to the United States and their future hopes and dreams for their expanding family.”
    In a previous teaser clip for the interview, Harry – who, along with his wife, stepped back from royal life and moved to America a year ago – revealed he was worried about “history repeating itself.”
    The 36-year-old prince seemingly referenced his late mother Princess Diana – who died in a Paris car crash in 1997 at the age of 36 – as he discussed how thankful he is to have Meghan, known as Meghan Markle before she married Harry, by his side during some “unbelievably tough” times and admitted he “can’t begin to imagine” how difficult things were for his parent, who gave up the Her Royal Highness title after divorcing his father Prince Charles in 1996.
    He said, “My biggest concern was history repeating itself.”
    “For me, I’m just really relieved and happy to be sitting here, talking to you with my wife by my side.”
