We all want a piece of our favourite celebrities. But how much would you pay for a literal piece of them? For some diehard fans, it could be quite a bit…Tom Stichbury17:43, 31 Jul 2025One of Lady Gaga’s fake nails sold for £9,000(Image: AFP/Getty Images)A golf ball once played by James Bond author Ian Fleming is expected to sell for £4,000, as the Daily Star revealed this week. If you’re not a 007 fan, you might not think it’s worth the, ahem, money(penny). However, that’s nothing compared to the other bespoke – frankly bizarre! – celeb memorabilia diehard devotees have splashed out on over the years…Fang-girling: Beatlesmania hit icky extremes when a John Lennon superfan forked out for one of his gnashers. In 2011, an extracted tooth belonging to the late music ledge went up for sale. He had ‘gifted’ the rotten molar to his housekeeper Dot Jarlett.Fittingly, the not-so-pearly white was sold for £19k to a Canadian dentist. Can only Imagine where they keep it…A young John Lennon shows off his pearly whites(Image: Popperfoto via Getty Images)Piece of Me: Turns out poor Britney Spears can’t even enjoy a stick of gum in peace. Back in 2004, there was a whole lotta, erm, Hubba-Bubba-baloo when bidding reached over £10.6k for a squished-up ball of the sweet stuff apparently chewed by the pop princess. Brit much, if you ask me!Breadwinner: At the peak of his fame with noughties boy band NSYNC, Justin Timberlake tucked into brekkie at New York radio station Z-100 amid a promo blitz.Young JT didn’t finish his French toast, so the show’s hosts shopped the leftovers to a fan for £805. “I’ll probably freeze-dry it, seal it… then put it on my dresser,” she said. Talk about earning your crust.Madge for it: Some folks are so obsessed with Madonna that they would cough up cash for just about anything she owned. Her iconic conical bra? Understandable. But an old credit card that expired in August 1990? Hmm.The Queen of Pop’s defunct bit of plastic was swiped for £1,940 in November 2016.Madge in her iconic Jean-Paul Gaultier outfit(Image: Thierry Orban)A load of Shat: Trust Star Trek fave William Shatner to boldly go where few other celebs would dare. In 2006, he auctioned his kidney stone for a whopping £18.9k.When it was removed, it was so big, Shat boasted: “You’d want to wear it on your finger. If you subject it to extreme heat, it might turn out to be a diamond.”‘Glad’ you came: A-lister Russell Crowe gave away a bunch of movie memorabilia at his 2018 Art of Divorce auction, marking his split from missus Danielle Spence.US chat show host John Oliver paid £6,474 for the jockstrap he wore for Gladiator, gushing: “[It is] a big price to pay for what Russell’s balls smelled like in 2005.”Bless you!: Savvy Scarlett Johansson knows even her mucus can be a real moneymaker. During an appearance on The Tonight Show in 2008, host Jay Leno handed her a tissue because she needed to blow her nose. The actress went on to raise £4,018 for charity by placing the snot rag on eBay.Nailed it: Claws in the air for Lady Gaga’s rabid Little Monsters, whose adoration for their idol knows no bounds. Gavin and Stacey actor Larry Lamb has opened up about his own life and facing the concept of dying as he grows older, after the soap star recently retired from acting16:37, 31 Jul 2025Larry Lamb has been thinking about his own death. The actor, best known for starring in EastEnders and Gavin and Stacey, has opened up about his own mortality and revealed that as he approaches his 78th birthday death is increasingly on his mind. Now retired from acting, Larry’s focus is on spending quality time with his loved ones including his four children: TV presenter George Lamb, 45, Vanessa, 56, Eloise, 26, and Eva, 22.Although he mainly lives in Normandy, Larry prioritises seeing his grown-up kids as often as possible. However, as he grows older Larry is becoming increasingly aware of his own mortality.Larry says that his children’s love keeps him going(Image: Jed Cullen/Dave Benett/Getty Images)”The older I get the more I think about how much I love life, but the more I think about how much I love life, the more it makes me think about death,” reports the Mirror.Larry and one of his friends annually visit a graveyard to tidy headstones, an experience that recently stirred thoughts about his own life. He told Daily Mail: “It all started me thinking more about facing it realistically, because sadly, I don’t want to sign up for that bit at all, but in the end you are going to have to.”The actor has turned to poetry to help him cope(Image: BBC/GS TV Productions Ltd/Tom Jackson)However, Larry’s children keep him going and revealed that messages from his kids on special occasions mean more than they will ever know: “So I sat there basking in their love, in the sunshine and just realising how lucky I was, and what makes me, and drives me to keep doing whatever I can, to stay alive for as long as I can to give them a dad for as long as I can.””Somewhere out there, I see it now and again flickering down the end of a long, nicely illustrated tunnel, there’s a sign and it says ‘Way Out’ and I know that’s the way I’m going.”Gavin and Stacey’s final episode aired last Christmas(Image: BBC/Toffee International Ltd./Tom Jackson)The Gavin and Stacey actor said that poetry makes things “much easier to deal with”. He also recently told The Mirror that with age he has become more at ease sharing details of his life.He said: “People are quite surprised, by the way I’m straightforward and honest about my life, what I’ve done and where I’ve been. I’ve gotten well into my 70s now, I’ve become a much more open person. I certainly don’t feel any real restrictions now, you know?””I’m just, kind of, having a great time. I’m happier and happier every day, except when I get up in the morning, I’ve got aches and pains I’ve got to deal with now, but that’s common to everybody my age! You just laugh about it and get on, right?”Article continues belowJoin the Daily Star’s WhatsApp for the sexiest headlines, showbiz gossip and lots moreThe Daily Star is now on WhatsApp and we want you to join us!Through the app, we’ll send you the sassiest showbiz stories, some naught headline and a seismic smattering of aliens…along with the latest breaking news of course. To join our community, all you have to do to join isclick on this link, select ‘Join Chat’ and you’re in!No one will be able to see who has sign up and no one can send messages except for the Daily Star team. Gemma Collins shares wedding news after ‘accidentally leaking’ plans online

Gemma Collins sparked a frenzy this week after appearing to accidentally leak details of her upcoming wedding to Rami Hawash – but she’s since said it was all a jokeMartin Winter15:06, 31 Jul 2025The reality star appeared to accidentally reveal details of her top-secret wedding in an Instagram post(Image: PinPep)Gemma Collins caused quite a stir after she ‘accidentally’ divulged details of her wedding plans on Instagram. The reality star sent fans spinning this week after appearing to reveal that she plans to get back on the ice for her first wedding dance with her soon-to-be hubby Rami.In a comical follow-up, she seemed to apologise for the blunder before revealing it was all a joke and that we should all embrace oversharing. Following the incident, the star partnered with a mobile network to encourage Brits to be more like her and embrace being an ‘over sharer’, if they weren’t one already. She later revealed the ‘leak’ was part of the campaign designed to encourage the nation to share more(Image: PinPep)It comes after a study by Sky Mobile of 2,000 adults found that nearly half admit to oversharing certain aspects of their personal lives – and on average ‘replay conversations in their head’ more than three times after worrying they shared a bit too much.Interestingly, a third often divulge details about their lives without any prompting, and once they start, they find it difficult to stop.Discussing romantic relationships is deemed ‘cringey’ by two-thirds of people. Conversations about finances and disagreements with colleagues were also considered awkward.Three-quarters confess that they do most of their oversharing via phone call, text or on social media. However, sharing offline is preferred by boomers and millennials, who believe that if you’re going to overshare, it’s best done face-to-face.Research commissioned by Sky Mobile, which included the manufactured leak, aims to encourage people to be more open and share their thoughts and experiences with others.Gemma Collins said: “Oversharing is caring huns, don’t stress about it – I’ve overshared all my life and I love it.”Now, we can share even more so that those you love can keep the group chats going strong.”The study found that 37 per cent of respondents formed new connections with others after sharing personal information, and 33 per cent reported feeling relieved after opening up.The reasons behind oversharing varied, with 46 per cent attributing it to excitement, 31 per cent seeking to build trust, and 30 per cent responding to someone else sharing too much information.Article continues belowBen Case, managing director of connectivity at Sky Mobile, which is offering a Piggybank benefit that allows people to share any unused data with up to seven family members or friends with SIMS on their plan, added: “We’re all about sharing more – and that includes your data.”So, whether it’s a group chat, a video call, or a meme marathon, oversharing has never been easier.” More

Ozzy Osbourne’s savage prediction about his grave and final wishes before death

Late metal legend Ozzy Osbourne sadly died last week at the age of 76, but the Black Sabbath frontman had some thoughts about what would be written on his headstone12:48, 31 Jul 2025Ozzy Osbourne predicted his infamous bat incident would be immortalised on his headstone(Image: Scott Dudelson/Getty Images)Ozzy Osbourne hilariously predicted what would be written on his headstone before he died. The Prince of Darkness sadly died last week at the age of 76, just weeks after his epic final show with Black Sabbath at Villa Park in his home city of Birmingham. His wife Sharon Osbourne and children announced his passing in a joint statement.Ozzy was laid to rest on Wednesday (July 30) at his funeral in Birmingham, which saw tens of thousands of fans pay tribute to the metal legend. Sharon and their children Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis joined the crowds for Ozzy’s funeral procession on Broad Street before a private funeral service. It was a suitably epic send off for the Crazy Train singer, but he’d already pondered his mortality before his death. In fact, Ozzy laid out his wishes for his funeral and burial years before he died – in his 2009 autobiography, I Am Ozzy. His wife Sharon Osbourne and kids Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis paid their respects at his funeral in Birmingham on Wednesday (July 30)(Image: Getty Images)In one passage of the book, penned with ghost writer Chris Ayres, Ozzy said he wanted to buried, not cremated. He said he’d like to have a tree planted over his head.He wrote: “I want to be put in the ground, in a nice garden somewhere, with a tree planted over my head. A crabapple tree, preferably, so the kids can make wine out of me and get p***ed out of their heads.”The Black Sabbath legend wanted to be buried, not cremated(Image: MTV)He also believed the notorious bat-biting incident would be referenced on his headstone. “As for what they’ll put on my headstone, I ain’t under any illusions. If I close my eyes, I can already see it: Ozzy Osbourne, born 1948. Died, whenever. He bit the head off a bat.”Ozzy notoriously bit the head off of a bat during a 1982 gig in the US state of Iowa. He later recalled he believed it was a toy but realised it was a real bat after biting into the animal on stage. The rocker revealed that he was content with how long he’d lived already, and believed he’d likely die in a “stupid” way. He wrote: “If I don’t live a day longer, I’ll have had more than my fair share. The only thing I ask is that if I end up brain-dead in a hospital somewhere, just pull the plug, please.”But I doubt it’ll get to that. Knowing me, I’ll go out in some stupid way. I’ll trip on the doorstep and break my neck. Or I’ll choke on a throat lozenge. Or a bird will sh** on me and give me some weird virus from another planet.”He then referenced the near-fatal quadbike crash he suffered at his Buckinghamshire home in 2003, which left him with a broken neck vertebra, a broken collarbone and six broken ribs. Ozzy said: “Look what happened with the quad bike: I’d been taking lethal combinations of booze and drugs for decades but it was riding over a pothole in my back garden at two miles an hour that nearly killed me.”Don’t get me wrong: I don’t worry about that kind of heavy-duty stuff on a daily basis. I’ve come to believe that everything in life is worked out in advance. So whenever bad s**t happens, there ain’t nothing you can do about it. You’ve just gotta ride it out. And eventually death will come, like it comes to everyone.”Have you joined Threads?
