The four remaining episodes (Part 2) were released on Wednesday (September 3), a few weeks after Part 1 left us on that (very) dramatic cliffhanger.But it seems some stars were keen to take home some souvenirs from the supernatural show. A Wednesday boss had to “politely ask” someone to return a prop they had taken from set after they wrapped season one.Production designer Mark Scruton told Screen Time: “We had a prop from season one, I’m trying to remember what it is now. But we had to politely ask for it to be returned for season two because we didn’t think we were doing season two.”Apparently people took items from set during the first series(Image: Netflix)Despite it going on to be a huge success, people working on the show didn’t know it’d get another series at first. A few months later, they found out they’d been commissioned for a second season.Scurton also revealed Catherine Zeta-Jones loved the set. He went on: “I know certainly Catherine [Zeta-Jones] was very happy with her environment, in the cottage we built for Morticia.Catherine Zetas-Jones loved the cottage the Netflix show built for her character, Morticia(Image: NETFLIX)”I don’t think anyone took anything away that I know about, occasionally we might have made duplicates of things on request.” He added: “But everyone’s fully aware that if they come back next year and there’s a big hole missing where a key prop was [we’ll know].”It was November 2022 when the first season came out and it wasn’t clear if there would be more to come until a few months later. However, we already know Netflix has already given director Tim Burton the green light to make a third season.People working on the set weren’t sure if there would be another seasonFilming for series one took place in Romania, and the second season was shot in Ireland. It’s not yet known if production is going to return to Ireland but Scruton did say: “All I know is we left a lot of things standing in Ireland so they’re all still there so hopefully they won’t get wasted.”There has been no confirmation on an official return date for series three just yet, although it’s been reported that production is set to begin in spring 2026. The second series took three years to make, due to industry-wide disruptions.Jenna Ortega plays Wednesday Addams in the show(Image: NETFLIX)The most significant was the 2023 Writer’s Guild strike (Writers Guild of America) in Hollywood, which halted progress on a number of US film and TV series – including Wednesday. Alongside the SAG strike (Screen Actors Guild), these strikes contributed to the largest interruption to the US film and TV industry since the Covid pandemic.Article continues belowThe writers’ strike lasted from May until September 2023, so writing on Wednesday was delayed for at least four months. The duo were proud parents on Wednesday (September 3) when they revealed their daughter Gemma had won an award for South Wales police.They shared a snap of Gemma, who looked fabulous as she held up her framed police certificate on stage, along with her peers. Davina expressed her desire for her legacy to be one of positivity, stating she wants to be remembered as someone who “made people feel good”. This revelation came after her frightening health ordeal prompted her to prepare a checklist for her loved ones.In conversation with TV Times, she said: “I guess it (what she wants her legacy to be) would be that I want to make people feel good.”Having this surgery made me want to live life to the max and this show (her new show Stranded on Honeymoon Island) felt like quite an adventure. I love love and helping people find it.”At the close of last year, 57-year-old Davina underwent surgery to remove the tumour. She explained how she became “forensic” when considering how her health might affect her youngsters.She explained: “I went into forensic thinking about my children and where they were at in their lives, what stage they were at. You are only happy as your unhappiest child.”After her operation last year, she kept her Instagram followers in the loop: “My short-term memory is a bit remiss but that’s something I can work on. Anna collapsed in pain and was unable to eat or move around as she was in so much pain.The man she was seeing, Cowslick, took her to the hospital as she was in agony, having “developed extreme vomiting, diarrhoea and fever” on the last day of their holiday in Greece. A CT scan revealed her intestine and bowels were badly swollen.Doctors found that she had inflammatory markers were “so high” after carrying out blood tests, a CT scan and an X-ray. They diagnosed Anna with bacterial colitis, a serious form of food poisoning caused the swelling.She was diagnosed with colitis after suffering “excruciating” pain in her stomach(Image: @Anna and Mandi Vakili/Youtube)Bacterial colitis is caused by an infection of the large intestine by harmful bacteria and is often contracted by consuming contaminated food or water. Symptoms may include severe abdominal pain, diarrhoea, a fever, a loss of appetite, weight loss and dehydrationShe shared some of the hellish experience in a YouTube video of the trip, filmed from her hospital bed and uploaded on her YouTube channel which she shares with sister Mandy. Honestly I can’t cope, the pain is so, so bad. This has become a nightmare. Honestly guys, colitis is not a joke, it’s so painful.”And on her podcast with Mandy, she said she was in “excruciating” pain and struggled to even talk to doctors as she kept throwing up. She explained: “They put me in a wheelchair to take my to the scan because I couldn’t walk.”Luckily, her body responded well to the IV antibiotics drip and she has now recovered. A spokesperson said: “We’re assessing these complaints against our broadcasting rules, but are yet to decide whether or not to investigate.”Rylan divided opinion with his views about the migrant crisis during a review of the news. The presenter claimed people coming over on small boats are “living a great life”.
