EXCLUSIVE: Sidemen star Vikkstar is about to embark on his first-ever UK tour as he makes moves in the EDM scene after spending time with some big players in the industry20:06, 03 Apr 2025Updated 20:08, 03 Apr 2025Vikkstar shared his embarrassing moment Sideman star Vikkstar has recalled a moment he was left embarrassed and in agony after a run-in with a huge DJ.The YouTuber turned DJ, and one of the brains behind Netflix’s Locked In, spoke exclusively to Daily Star as he prepares for his first UK tour.Article continues belowWhen asked if he could share any embarrassing moments he’s had since fame, he opened up about a blunder which involved none other than Steve Aoki.Vikkstar, 29, told us: “Almost a decade ago, we were filming a YouTube original series in the French Alps with Steve Aoki. He smashed a cake into my face as he famously does, but the cake was completely frozen. It was both painful and embarrassing!”He was caked by Steve AokiAs he gears up for his own shows, he’s hoping he will avoid any more embarrassing moments and instead just thrill fans with his bass-heavy beats.Talking about his pending gigs, the fast-rising DJ said: “I am so looking forward to my UK tour! I did a few shows when I was last in Australia, but this is my first proper tour.”I’ve been so lucky to have done quite a few shows supporting the legendary Alan Walker over the past year, so although there are always some nerves, I feel mainly excitement, and also looking forward to debuting some of my new music.”Vikkstar is gearing up for his own tourBut will any of his fellow Sidemen pals be there to support?
