    'Running Wild With Bear Grylls' Episode With Armie Hammer Removed by Disney Bosses

    The officials at the Mouse House streaming platform have decided to yank off an old episode of ‘Running Wild With Bear Grylls’ that featured the ‘Call Me by Your Name’ star.

    Disney+ officials have quietly removed Armie Hammer’s appearance on an old episode of “Running Wild With Bear Grylls” from the streaming platform amid the troubled actor’s sex abuse allegations.

    The “Call Me by Your Name” star has been laying low in recent months after a number of women accused him of being controlling and abusive in relationships, while exhibiting odd sex fetishes and cannibalistic fantasies.

    He has since also been accused of rape, which is currently under investigation by Los Angeles police, and the controversies appear to have prompted Disney bosses to take action.

    According to Insider, a two-year-old episode of Hammer on the fifth season of hit survival show “Running Wild with Bear Grylls” is no longer available for viewers to watch on Disney+ although platform chiefs have yet to provide a reason for the disappearance.

    Instead, fans are offered the opportunity to skip from episode four to six.

    Hammer has vehemently denied the rape allegations, but the myriad of sexual misconduct reports have cost him a series of acting gigs, most recently prompting the actor to drop out of a planned Broadway production of Tracy Letts’ “The Minutes”.

    He was also replaced by Dan Stevens in Julia Roberts and Sean Penn’s upcoming Watergate drama “Gaslit”, and withdrew from roles in Jennifer Lopez’s new comedy “Shotgun Wedding”, Mads Mikkelsen’s Cold War thriller “Billion Dollar Spy”, and “The Offer”, a movie about the making of “The Godfather”.

      Armie Hammer’s bizarre sex scandal has cost the actor another job – this time on Broadway.

      The “Call Me by Your Name” star has withdrawn from a production of Tracy Letts’ “The Minutes”, which was scheduled to hit the New York stage in 2022, following the news that Los Angeles police officials are investigating rape allegations against Hammer.

      Announcing his decision to exit the play in a statement on Friday, the movie star writes, “I have loved every single second of working on The Minutes with the family I made from Steppenwolf (theatre company). But right now I need to focus on myself and my health for the sake of my family. Consequently, I will not be returning to Broadway with the production.”

      A statement from the production team reads, “Armie remains a valued colleague to all of us who have worked with him onstage and offstage on The Minutes. We wish only the best for him and respect his decision.”

      Hammer appeared in the original 2017 Steppenwolf Theatre production of The Minutes in Chicago, Illinois.

      The political comedy was in previews on Broadway when the COVID pandemic shut down New York’s theatre district in March, 2020.

      Earlier this week (29Mar21), Hammer was replaced by Dan Stevens in Julia Roberts and Sean Penn’s upcoming Watergate drama “Gaslit”. He has also stepped down from roles in Jennifer Lopez’s new comedy “Shotgun Wedding”, Mads Mikkelsen’s new Cold War thriller “Billion Dollar Spy”, and “The Offer”, a new movie about the making of “The Godfather”.

      AceShowbiz – Armie Hammer has reportedly pulled out of a new TV series about the making of movie classic “The Godfather”, amid his ongoing social media sex scandal.
      The actor was set to play producer Al Ruddy in “The Offer”, but Deadline sources have revealed Hammer has stepped down after a string of exes came forward with claims about his alleged odd sexual appetites, with one sharing messages she and Armie reportedly exchanged.
      The news comes two weeks after Hammer exited Jennifer Lopez’s new Lionsgate movie, “Shotgun Wedding”, and the star-studded cast of “Gaslit”.

      Following the “Shotgun Wedding” exit, Armie released a statement, which read, “I’m not responding to these bulls**t claims but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I cannot in good conscience now leave my children for 4 months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic. Lionsgate is supporting me in this and I’m grateful to them for that.”
      Josh Duhamel is reportedly in talks to replace Hammer in “Shotgun Wedding”, while his vacant roles in “Gaslit” and “The Offer” are being recast.
      Armie made headlines after being accused of having cannibal fantasies on the leaked DM. “I am 100 per cent a cannibal. I want to eat you,” one message read. Another message alleged that the actor had cut “the heart out of an animal” and ate it. Other screenshots include alleged messages from the actor asking if he can drink people’s blood.

      AceShowbiz – Armie Hammer has broken his silence after his alleged DMs leaked online and caused social media chatter. Following the scandal, the actor has departed an upcoming movie, “Shotgun Wedding”, in which he was supposed to act alongside Jennifer Lopez.
      Addressing his exit from the movie in light of the scandal, the 34-year-old father of two decried “the vicious and spurious online attacks” against him as he cited concern over his children as the reason why he exited the project. “I’m not responding to these b******* claims,” he said in a statement released on Wednesday, January 13.
      “…but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I cannot in good conscience now leave my children for 4 months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic,” Armie added. On the studio’s reaction to his exit, he claimed, “Lionsgate is supporting me in this and I’m grateful to them for that.”

      Echoing Armie’s statement, a representative for the production said, “Armie has requested to step away from the film and we support him in his decision.” Production on the romantic adventure film is set to begin immediately, but his role will now be recast.
      This arrives after Armie’s alleged DMs leaked online, exposing his text messages to women which described graphic accounts of sex acts and cannibalism. “I am 100 per cent a cannibal.       Armie was trending on Twitter following the leaked DMs, with his rumored former flame Jessica Ciencin Henriquez confirming that the leaked DMs are real. “If you are still questioning whether or not those Armie Hammer DMs are real (and they are) maybe you should start questioning why we live in a culture willing to give abusers the benefit of the doubt instead of victims,” she wrote in a now-deleted tweet, adding, “TW// sexual violence.”
