    Miley dresses up her boyfriend Cody as a drag queen in her lockdown directorial debut video released to support his latest single called ‘Dancing with the Devil.

    AceShowbiz – Miley Cyrus persuaded her boyfriend, Cody Simpson, to don a dress, fishnet stockings and make-up for his latest video, which she directed at home.
    The “Wrecking Ball” star makes her debut behind the camera for the arty promo for the Australian singer and poet’s “Dance With the Devil” video, in which he portrays a cross-dressing seaman.
    The couple created the short film during their lockdown at Miley’s home and Cody gave his girlfriend free rein to get as creative as she liked.
    Cyrus turned make-up artist to give her man eyeshadow, bright red lipstick and fake fingernails while dressing him up in fishnets, a black Vivienne Westwood dress, believed to be one of hers, and costume jewellery.
    She also set the tone for the video, which begins with Cody dressed up like a sailor, lighting candles around the house and a firepit in the garden for outdoor scenes.

    “Our lives, in a sense, are a collaboration so we wanted that to be reflected in the video,” he says.
    Miley and Cody have been dating for almost a year after hooking up last summer 2019 following the pop superstar’s split from husband Liam Hemsworth – another Aussie hunk.

      AceShowbiz – Cody Simpson will showcase his new music online as part of the new MTV Unplugged at Home series on Friday, May 01 afternoon.
      The 23-year-old singer will debut a number of new tracks as he performs to fans from the comfort of his own home, amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
      “It’s an interesting time for musicians with the nature of business changing so rapidly and everything still very up in the air for the future,” he told Australian newspaper The Daily Telegraph on Thursday. “(I’m) trying to stay creative and keep the flow going while being stuck inside.”
      “The positive thing is I’m still able to do things like MTV Unplugged to keep the connection rocking with my listeners.”
      Despite the unconventional set-up, Cody, who’s currently in lockdown with girlfriend Miley Cyrus, said it had actually been a “liberating” experience to play music on his own, allowing him “the freedom to follow my mind wherever it takes me throughout a song or a performance”.
      “This is an epic series that’s taken on a whole new life and is bringing cool entertainment and music to people’s homes amidst this trying time,” he added of the venture. “(I’m) very happy to be a part of it.”
      The livestream takes place on the MTV Australia YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/MTVAustraliaOfficial) at 4 pm local time (2 am ET, 7 am BST).

      AceShowbiz – Cody Simpson’s new music is inspired by the sober lifestyle he and girlfriend Miley Cyrus have adopted.
      The couple began dating last October 2019, following the “Slide Away” star’s split from ex Liam Hemsworth, and the pair reportedly bonded over their similar lifestyles.
      Speaking with InStyle Australia, the 23-year-old credited sober living with allowing him to be successful in so many different fields.
      “Now I’m more interested in immersion and feeling good, sharp, open and clear. I found that being sober helps with that a lot,” the star explained. “I can’t say I’m going to do (sobriety) forever or even for the next year. It’s just that right now it’s what feels good.”
      The couple inspires each other creatively, with Cody’s single “Golden Thing” a tribute to his girlfriend, and he plans to use Miley as the inspiration for his upcoming album.
      “That’s one aspect of the style that you’ll be getting on the new record,” he said of his upcoming love songs.
