    Gwen Stefani is back with a new music video for her latest single “Slow Clap”. In the visuals, the fiancee of Blake Shelton can be seen riding her white scooter to an elementary school where she helps a young man to express his feelings to his crush.

    Donning a bomber jacket with a cupid drawn on the back, Gwen sings her heart out while walking down the school hallway. She guides the young boy to show off his dancing skills in front of his schoolmates and his crush. However, they laugh at him instead of being impressed. That, however, doesn’t stop him from trying to get better with his moves.

    After practicing hard, he eventually asks his crush to meet him at the field. The two later dance to the song. They are not the only ones having a blast with the song though as their teacher is also seen dancing in the hallway.

    “Clap, clap/ Clap, clap, clap, clap/ Clap de-clap de-clap clap/ Slow clap/ Walk into the room like a boss (slow clap)/ Putting on a little extra sauce,” Gwen sings on the energetic track. “Clap, clap/ Clap, clap, clap, clap/ Clap de-clap de-clap clap/ Slow clap/ Side stepping people down the hall (slow clap)/ Winter, Spring or Summer or the Fall.”

    Prior to this, Gwen unveiled another version of music video for “Slow Clap”. Teaming up with raptress Saweetie for the remix version of the song, the music video saw the pair taking over a high school.

    Of the song which she co-wrote along with Ross Golan and producer Luke Niccoli, the No Doubt singer said in an interview with “Good Morning America”, “Generally, I just wanted to make an album that was full of joy and hope. I think the one line in [‘Slow Clap’] is, ‘Are you rooting for me like I’m rooting for you?’ I feel like that was just kind of where I was at in that moment when I wrote the song.”

    “I’m still writing,” she continued. “I think that’s what’s been really fun about this project, is to be able to drop singles and actually still be working on new music as I’m doing it. That’s new for me, so that’s kind of what I’m doing right now, just in the studio writing and being creative.”

    Gushing over Ross, Gwen said, “Ross is really good at getting in your head and investigating, and he has the right tone for me right now. I always feel like my songs have a bit of a kitschy, fun, silly side to them lyrically, even if I’m talking about something serious, and he’s really good at that as well.”

      Daly will be joined by comedienne Amber Ruffin and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” house DJ, Stephen”tWitch” Boss, to co-host the event, which will take place without the traditional live audience due to the coronavirus pandemic.
      In a statement, Daly said, “Nothing will make me happier than to have a front row seat to watch 2020 disappear and usher in the hope for brighter days in 2021.”

      Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton got engaged in October this year. The upcoming wedding will be the second one for both. She was previously married to Gavin Rossdale and he previously tied the knot with Miranda Lambert.

      The singer has returned to her ska and reggae roots in homage to her time as the frontwoman of No Doubt and freshened things up a bit on her new single, “Let Me Reintroduce Myself”.
      In a nod to her 2004 hit “Hollaback Girl”, she sings, “And it tastes great, I already gave you bananas.”

      In a press release, Gwen said of the track, “This song is a way of saying I’m back with new music. It’s a fun, light-hearted song, because I got inspired and hopefully to bring a little bit of joy. The idea was to write a song that had a bit of a nostalgic feeling to it, so I think musically it reminds you of back in the day, going back to where I started musically which was with ska and reggae. I’m still the same me but here’s something a little bit new in case you feel like hearing a little bit more of me.”

      Gwen’s last full-length release was 2017’s festive LP, “You Make It Feel Like Christmas”.
      But the new song marks her first non-Christmassy record since 2016’s “This Is What The Truth Feels Like”.
      And although she never intended to make a comeback, the “Sweet Escape” singer – who is engaged to country star Blake Shelton – has penned around “20 songs.”
      “I fantasised about it but I was also like … I don’t know,” she told Zane Lowe on Apple Music. “I always think about artists that I loved growing up, and I think I just want to listen to the songs that I like that they did. And that’s nostalgic for me.”
      “I never expected to be writing, but it was in there. And it’s been really, really incredible. I mean, there’s just nothing else that I do in my life, and I have done so many things, that makes me feel ignited the way a new song makes me feel.”

      Lipa was a guest host on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Monday (10Aug20), and during a virtual chat with “Hollaback Girl” singer Gwen, the British star asked about life on lockdown at her “husband” Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch.
      “Well, he’s not my husband, but that sounded cool when you said it,” Stefani responded as Lipa looked embarrassed, and went on to reveal that life on the farm has been a lot of fun for the California girl.

      “I think it was, like, 15 people and it was really actually a lot of fun,” Gwen said. “All of a sudden work is over and you just get to indulge being on this ranch. Every day was like a new thing, like, ‘A baby armadillo today!'”
      Gwen and Blake and her sons have since returned to Los Angeles.

      AceShowbiz – Gwen Stefani made her Grand Ole Opry debut on Saturday night (May 09) – from over 630 miles (1,000 kilometres) away.
      The No Doubt star performed “Nobody But You” with her country star boyfriend Blake Shelton from his Oklahoma farm, where the couple has been self-isolating throughout the coronavirus lockdown.
      Gwen wasn’t even billed to perform during the virtual show, which also featured Trace Adkins and Dustin Lynch, but few were surprised when she appeared to sing her hit duet with Blake.
      “Is this happening? Am I really on the Grand Ole Opry?” an excited Stefani said.
      Shelton, who is an inductee of country music’s most famous venue, then made it clear than he plans to get his girlfriend on the stage of the Opry in Nashville, Tennessee.

      Shelton also performed “Ol Red” and “God’s Country” during the show.

      Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, and Morgan Evans are billed to appear on the Grand Ole Opry this coming Saturday, May 16.

      The country music star invited Stefani to add her vocals to the track last year (19), and although they both fell in love with the tune, they had no idea how big of a hit it would be with fans, too, after climbing to the top of the Billboard countdown this week (begins April 27) – three months after its initial release.
      ” ‘Nobody But You’ wasn’t written as a duet, but it is a duet,” Shelton told Billboard.com as he reflected on the chart news. “I have to thank (songwriters) Shane McAnally, Ross Copperman, Josh Osborne and Tommy Lee James for trusting us with this incredible song that captures exactly how I feel about Gwen, and I can connect with every lyric.”
      “I still pinch myself every time I hear one of my songs on the radio, but I have to pinch and twist really hard to believe I’m singing it with Gwen Stefani. As always, thank you to the fans that listen and I cannot wait until we can all be together celebrating music again.”
      Shelton also took to Twitter to share a special message for Stefani, writing, “Congratulations @gwenstefani on your first country song going #1 at country radio!!! Not bad for your first try!!!!! Thank you all as well!!! #nobodybutyou.”
      And the No Doubt frontwoman is blown away by the couple’s achievement.
      “Trying to wrap my head around the fact that I even get to know Blake Shelton -let alone be on Such a beautiful classic duet w (with) him,” she remarked as she reposted Shelton’s tweet.

      Stefani continued, “thank you [email protected] for taking me along on this ride with you!! I am so grateful and blown away by all the support everyone has shown us!!!!! #WHATTHEHECK?!! we got a #1 single?!!! #bestfriend #nobodybutyou #nevernmywildestdreams (sic)!!!!!”

Weeks after the “God’s Country” singer made a surprise appearance at one of her Las Vegas residency’s shows, the former No Doubt frontwoman delighted attendees of his Los Angeles concert with their sweet onstage duet of “Nobody But You”.
      On Saturday night, March 7, Shelton took the stage at the Forum as a part of his “Friends and Heroes Tour”, and crooned the song off his “Fully Loaded: God’s Country” album. Soon after he delivered his first verse, Stefani’s voice was heard as she popped out from behind the stage, prompting concertgoers to erupt in cheers over her appearance.
      For the special performance, the “Hollaback Girl” hitmaker rocked a blue fringed denim jacket with the word “Blake” written on its back. She completed her costume with a pair of short shorts and thigh-high sparkly boots. At the end of the performance, she shared a tight hug with Shelton who then peppered her with kisses.
      After the show, Stefani made use of Instagram to post a clip of their duet. She wrote alongside the video, “Got to hop on stage w my best friend @blakeshelton tonight #friendsandheroestour #nobodybutyou 2020 Gx.” She also let out a photo of her pointing at Shelton’s direction, and thanked him for “having me on your @theforum stage and giving me the opportunity to wear denim and diamond Fringe with a unicorn ponytail.”

      The 50-year-old songstress additionally shared a series of behind-the-scene photos. Both pictures capture her and Shelton as they were joined by her two sons with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, 13-year-old Kingston and 11-year-old Zuma, backstage.

      Shelton himself turned to his Instagram page to share a video of their duet. In an accompanying caption of the post, he teased his fans, “Friends, heroes, AND… @GwenStefani! Y’all never know what might happen on the #FriendsAndHeroesTour!”

      Stefani and Shelton performed their romantic duet of “Nobody But You” for the first time at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards back in January. Three weeks later, the “Hillbilly Bone” crooner delighted the “Wind It Up” singer’s fans when he made a surprise appearance at her “Just a Girl” residency at Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas.

      Stefani kicked off her Just a Girl residency at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood in July 2018.

      Scheduled concerts on Wednesday and Thursday night have been axed.
      Gwen also had to cancel her weekend performances last week because of the illness.
