    Trevor Noah and Jada Pinkett Smith’s TV and Internet hits and Jamie Foxx’s beloved film “Soul” were among the big winners at the third night of the 2021 NAACP Image Awards in America on Wednesday, March 24.

    Comedian Noah picked up the Outstanding Host in a Talk or News/Information (Series or Special) for his work on “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah”, while Jada, her daughter Willow Smith and mum Adrienne Banfield-Norris claimed the Image Award for Outstanding Talk Series for their Facebook Watch series “Red Table Talk”.

    Meanwhile, “Soul” took home trophies for Outstanding Animated Motion Picture and the film’s star, Jamie Foxx, scored the Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance – Motion Picture. Another Disney hit, “Doc McStuffins”, also doubled up, landing the Outstanding Animated Series, while Laya DeLeon Hayes’ voice talents earned her the award for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance (Television).

      AceShowbiz – Jada Pinkett Smith has set a new Facebook Watch viewing record after coming clean about her affair with singer August Alsina in an episode of her “Red Table Talk” show.
      The actress sat down with her husband, Will Smith, for a candid chat about their marriage, during which she confessed to embarking on a romance with Alsina during a secret separation around 2016.
      The “Red Table Talk” special, titled “Jada Brings Herself to the Table”, debuted on Friday, July 10, and drew more than 15 million views in its first 24 hours online – becoming the platform’s most-viewed original episode within a 24-hour period.

      It easily smashed the previous record-holder, another revealing instalment of “Red Table Talk”, from 2019.
      That episode, which drew 7.6 million views in its first 24 hours, featured Kylie Jenner’s former best friend, Jordyn Woods, speaking out for the first time about her cheating scandal with basketball player Tristan Thompson. At the time, he had been in an on/off relationship with Kylie’s big sister, Khloe Kardashian, the mother of his baby daughter, True.

      After the new episode of her Facebook Watch talk show aired, it soon made headlines, but instead of compliments, the wife of Will Smith receives harsh criticism over the interview.

      AceShowbiz – Jada Pinkett Smith’s talk show “Red Table Talk” has always succeeded in garnering public attention by bringing the right guests amid hot topics. Recently, she invited rapper Snoop Dogg to discuss his controversial comments about Gayle King as he tried to “protect” Kobe Bryant’s widow Vanessa Bryant.
      After the episode aired, it soon made headlines. However, instead of compliments, Jada received harsh criticism over the interview because it seemed like people think that Jada cornered Snoop despite his apology. “jada you’re out of pocket for this bs,” one user wrote in the comment section while someone else added, “Jada this ain’t it and you should do better for you black community.”
      One fan was saddened to see Snoop clarifying his comments all over again. “I would like to see [Oprah Winfrey] or Gayle at the table next… Snoop is being attacked!!! And he already apologizedm.” Echoing the sentiment, one other shared, “It hurts me that he has to keep clarifying his hurt. I’ve been thinking for some days now how few safe places exist for men of color to be vulnerabgle and grieve without being judged or persecuted the I way snoop is.”
      “HE SAID WHAT HE SAID JADA !!” a supportive fan exclaimed. “It was never about anybody else, it was directed to that woman only,” another explained.
      During the interview, the rap veteran revealed that he went hard against Gayle for bringing up the late basketball icon’s rape case during a chat with Kobe’s friend and fellow athlete Lisa Leslie because he wanted to protect Vanessa. “I wanted to make sure what I said was said the right way and I wanted to make sure that the message was across. That we love Kobe and be respectful of Vanessa and those kids,” he shared.
      “That’s what the whole intent was, to protect that women and them babies over there, because she’s still grieving. And let’s give them that respect (sic),” he added.
