    The singer finds her voice again and shows her potential as a musician with her long-awaited debut album ‘Life Support’ following the hard lessons she learned in the industry.

    AceShowbiz – Madison Beer found her “Life support” in debut album. Almost nine years after gaining instant fame on the web following Justin Bieber’s approval of her rendition of Etta James’ “At Last”, the singer finally dropped a collection of songs that she’s most proud of.
    Multiple tracks in the album raked in over 1 million streams on Spotify. One of the standouts, a sultry breakup song called “Selfish”, received Gold certification for selling half a million unit since Valentine’s Day release and reached No. 19 on Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles. Meanwhile, the album rose to No. 28 in U.K. and 23 in Canada.
    The 22-year-old star actually had been working on her first album since her YouTube days, but numerous setbacks including her struggles with mental health and creative differences with label and then-manager Scooter Braun forced her to take a step back.

    The brunette beauty felt like a “cash cow” when everyone around her told her what to do without bothering to listen to her opinions. After releasing several bubblegum songs like “Melodies” and “Unbreakable”, she realized she wanted something with more substance.
    “No one was on the same page as me. They wanted me to be ‘Melodies’ and teeny bop, and I was like, ‘No!’ I wanted to punch everyone and break out of the shell, but I was restricted by my age,” Madison opened up about her early career to Elite Daily in a recent interview.
    She eventually found her voice again with her 2018 independent mini album fittingly titled “As She Pleases”. It propelled her into the top 10 on U.S. Independent Albums chart and gave her first Gold plaque with empowerment anthem “Home With You”.
    While she’s no longer an independent artist when releasing “Life Support”, she made sure she continued to have full control over her art. The album was packed with messages about relationships and life lessons that she conveyed beautifully with her sultry voice.

      AceShowbiz – Madison Beer takes aim at a “disrespectful boyfriend” on her latest single, “BOYS***”.
      The 22-year-old singer has dropped the latest track from her upcoming debut studio album, “Life Support”, and revealed the song is about “knowing your worth” and when it’s time to exit an unhealthy relationship.
      The lyrics include, “One too many times I let you ruin my life / ’cause I thought you would change but I see it now.”

      Speaking of what inspired the track, she said, “BOYS*** is one of the last songs I recorded for my album, and it was just kind of a build up after this really long year.”

      “It’s simply about knowing your worth and when to leave a situation. With the play on ‘bull***’ I figured it was the perfect time to use the age old saying about an immature or disrespectful boyfriend, ‘he’s not a man, he’s a boy,’ but it then flourished into more. This isn’t as simple as a childish man, it’s deeper than that.”
      “Anyone can behave in a ‘BOY***’ manner and I think there’s something to be said about knowing when enough is enough and when you’re truly just feeding into nonsense, I think a lot of that is knowing your worth. This song is meant to uplift and inspire people, of all genders, to know when it’s time to stop putting up with boy***.”
      “BOYS***” follows the release of tracks “Good in Goodbye”, “Selfish”, and “Stained Glass”.
      The latter single saw Madison open up about the “scrutiny” she has faced in her life and call for everyone to “be more gentle and not judge so hard.”
      “Life Support” is released on next February (21).

      Being held to advocate for an end to DUI, this first annual music event in memory of the tragically-killed singer LOVR will take place at the Hollywood Palladium in California on March 21.

      AceShowbiz – Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Madison Beer, and Daya are among the stars performing at the first annual LOVR Benefit Concert.
      The singers will all take the stage at the event at the Hollywood Palladium in California on 21 March, in memory of singer LOVR, real name, Noah Benardout, who was tragically killed on 1 August, 2019 by a drunk driver while waiting to cross a West Hollywood street.
      The up-and-coming star was offered a record deal, and was about to release his new EP, on the day he was killed.
      Presented by The Noah Benardout Foundation, the event is being held to advocate for an end to DUI (Driving Under the Influence), with Sofia Carson, Braves, Nicholas Petricca of Walk the Moon, Romeo of FARR, Saint Bodhi, Dreamers, Lemmo, and El Javi among the other acts confirmed to take the stage.

      Meanwhile, actor Andy Garcia, comedian Fahim Anwar, and media personality Ross King are included among the list of presenters and celebrity advocates for the event.

      The LOVR Benefit also marks the first time that all three of California’s major law enforcement departments are joining forces to demonstrate how they are combatting the DUI epidemic within the Los Angeles community.
      Funds from the event will go towards The Noah Benardout Foundation, which advocates the end of DUI fatalities through music and education.
