    Moneybagg Yo Gets His First No. 1 Album on Billboard 200 Chart With 'A Gangsta's Pain'

    Joining the rapper’s new album ‘A Gangsta’s Pain’ as the new entry in this week’s chart is Eric Church’s ‘Soul’ as it debuts at No. 4 with 53,000 equivalent album units earned.

    Congratulations are in order for Moneybagg Yo. The rapper has reached a milestone in his music career as he earns his first No. 1 album on Billboard 200 chart with his latest set “A Gangsta’s Pain”. The album bows atop the tally with 110,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending April 29, according to MRC Data.

    Of the number earned by the 22-track album which was released on April 23 via CMG/N-Less/Interscope, SEA units comprise 106,000. That equals to 147.4 million on-demand streams of the album’s tracks. Album sales are 4,000, while less than 1,000 are in the form of TEA units.

    Trailing behind at No. 2 is Young Thug’s former leader “Slime Language 2”. The album earns 62,000 equivalent album units in its second week. Later at No. 3 is Morgan Wallen’s “Dangerous: The Double Album” which earns 54,000 units.

    Joining “A Gangsta’s Pain” as the the new entry this week is Eric Church’s “Soul”. Debuting at No. 4, it earns 53,000 equivalent album units. Meanwhile, Justin Bieber’s “Justice” dips one spot from No. 4 to No. 5 with 47,000 equivalent album units earned. As for Rod Wave’s “SoulFly”, it is stationary at No. 6 with 40,000 units. The Weeknd’s “After Hours”, meanwhile, re-enters Top 10 of Billboard 200 chart as it lands at No. 7 after earning 39,000 units.

    Dua Lipa’s “Future Nostalgia” ascends one rang from No. 9 to No. 8 with 35,000 equivalent album units earned. Taylor Swift’s former No. 1 album “Fearless (Taylor’s Version)”, meanwhile, plummets significantly from No. 2 to No. 9 with 33,000 equivalent album units. Rounding out the Top 10 this week is Pop Smoke’s “Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon”. The posthumous album is steady at No. 10 with nearly 33,000 units.

      AceShowbiz – MoneyBagg Yo released his new album “Code Read” on Friday, September 18, and one song already stood out more than the rest. Titled “Brain Dead”, the song garnered attention due to the fact that the rapper included his girlfriend Ari Fletcher’s voicemails towards the end of the tune.
      Following the last chorus, people could hear the answering machine voice before Ari started speaking, “Hey babe, I’m just checkin’ on you, see where you at, what you doin’. Call me when you can, love you, bye.” Not getting any answer from the rapper, the mom of one called again as she sounded pissed, “I’m not finna keep call your motherf**kin’ phone, like. Call me the f**k back, drop your location, something, I’m gonna beat your a**, you got me f**ked up. Call me back now.”
      However, MoneyBagg still had not called Ari back and it made her so frustrated she started crying. “I’m sick of this s**t, like, I’m done, I don’t know why you always do this s**t to me. Like you waste my f**kin’ time, all the time,” she said. “All you have to do is call me back.”

      MoneyBagg teased Ari’s feature on the song days before the release of the album. During a joint Instagram Live stream with his girlfriend, MoneyBagg shared a teaser of the song as Ari bragged, “I’m a rapper now.” However, before they got to her part in the song, she admitted to feeling nervous and shy.
      Because of this, people were disappointed because they thought Ari would rap for real rather than having her voicemails included on the song. “thought this girl was gone spit a bar or 2 and she on there begging,” one said. “I’m mad bc they made it seem like she was gon rap all she did was cry on the phone,” another wrote.

The hip-hop star released the remix of his song “Said Sum” on Thursday midnight, September 17, tapping City Girls and DaBaby to join him on the track. However, it looks like fans are less than pleased with MoneyBagg’s choice for the featuring artists.
      On the nearly-three minute song, JT is in charge of the first verse before passing the baton to Baby, MoneyBagg and her partner Yung Miami. Name-dropping Ray J, JT spits her bars, “I leave a b***h mad with the stuck face (Ha)/ Who the f**k are h**s playin’ wit’ anyways? (What?)/ City Girls make ’em wish like Ray J (Let me talk to ’em)/ All these n****s wanna f**k JT (They do).”

      Both JT and Yung Miami actually did a good job, but fans are disappointed with the fact that MoneyBagg chose them over Mulatto. Some did not even hold back in bashing the hip-hop duo, with one writing, “City girls do not sound good on every song .. mulatto is that b***h she should’ve been on Said sum remix.”
      Someone could not even hide his/her disappointment by writing in all-caps, “YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THIS N***A PUT CITY GIRLS ON SAID SUM REMIX OVER MULATTO???????!” On the other hand, an individual commented, “With all respect, I’m highly pissed city girls did not deliver @mulatto sis come fix that s**t!” One other said, “Disappointed! We told you mulatto! City girls fire but that’s not they flow!”
      Meanwhile, another person wrote, “Moneybagg put city girls on said sum remix AND IM DISAPPOINTED, i was hoping for mulatto.” There was also one person who said, “I loveee city girls but I think mulatto would have ate up said sum remix.”
