AceShowbiz – Michael Bay’s pandemic movie “Songbird” has been issued with a “do not work” order from industry body the Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA).

The official added that they are taking safety on sets during the Covid-19 crisis “very seriously” and was forced to step in because producers “have not yet become a signatory to our agreement.” The Hollywood Reporter added that work was due to start on the film, starring Demi Moore and Craig Robinson, this month (Jul20).

The project he’s possibly involved in is not specified yet, but it’s said that the ‘Justice League’ actor may appear in future Zack Snyder projects that can range from cameos, miniseries and feature films.

According to The Culture Nerd, the 47-year-old actor has signed a deal with Warner Bros. to re-team up with the filmmaker in the latter’s future projects that are backed up by HBO Max, AT&T and WarnerMedia. It’s not specified what there projects are, but it’s said that they can range from cameos, miniseries and full-length feature films through HBO Max.
While the news should be taken with a grain of salt since there’s no confirmation from WB yet, it is believed that the studio will make an official announcement regarding Affleck’s return as Batman at either Justice Con, which will take place from July 25-26, or DC Fandome set to be held on August 22. TCN also claims that two other outlets, La Hoguera de Gotham and Snydercut214, have been hearing the same story.

After the British government gave the green light for high-end TV and film productions to resume shooting in May, under the condition that employers put coronavirus safety measures in place, the movie was scheduled to resume the filming around July.

  • Netflix Movie '365 Days' Slammed for 'Glamorizing Sex Trafficking'

    Netflix

Sexual assault survivor Duffy has written an open letter to the bosses at the streaming giant, criticizing the movie about a victim who’s forced to love her kidnapper under duress.
    Jul 3, 2020
AceShowbiz – Duffy has urged Netflix bosses to use their influence “more responsibly” after slamming the movie “365 Days” for “glamorising sex trafficking.”
The “Mercy” singer, who recently disclosed her own experience of being raped, drugged, and kidnapped, penned a letter to Reed Hastings, the CEO of Netflix, appealing for the streaming giant and production company to use its influence “more responsibly.”
In the letter, she claims the Polish movie – about a woman who falls victim to a mafia boss, who imprisons her and gives her one year to fall in love with him – treats “the serious crime of kidnapping and sex trafficking” as “erotic entertainment.”
“I encourage the millions who have enjoyed the movie to reflect on the reality of kidnapping and trafficking, of force and sexual exploitation, and of an experience that is the polar opposite of the glossy fantasy depicted,” she wrote.
The singer urges the Netflix chief to commit the company’s resources to creating content about the global problem of kidnapping and sex trafficking, which the United Nations calls a “grave violation of human rights.”
Duffy closes her letter to Hastings with the statement, “When we know better, let us do better.”
The British singer opened up about her horrifying experience in February (20), explaining that she hid away after an unidentified person drugged and raped her before holding her captive – and released a comeback track, “Something Beautiful”, the following month.
Last month, the star debuted her second song since relaunching her career, sharing a piano ballad called “River in the Sky” on Instagram.

AceShowbiz – Chris Pratt is back to work after months in quarantine due to the coronavirus pandemic. The actor revealed during a video chat with a fan that he recently returned to London to resume the filming of “Jurassic World: Dominion”.
“I’m doing well,” Pratt told his fan Terry, who also won a role in the upcoming “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” sequel. “I’m back in London currently. We’re back in production on ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’.”
Terry nabbed the rare chance to speak with Pratt after he donated to the All In Challenge. The charity is aimed to end food insecurity amid the pandemic. In addition to the call, he won a role in the potential blockbuster flick, where he will be “destroyed in the jaws of an animated dinosaur.”
“Congratulations to Terry our #AllInChallenge winner!” Pratt wrote along with the video which he shared on his Instagram page. “Watch me zoom bomb Terry, his wife Julie and daughter Kelsey as we all discuss his future as a Dino snack! Thanks Terry! And big ups to everyone who entered the sweepstakes. It’s been an honor to be part of the #AllInChallenge which has raised over $59 MILLION to help feed the hungry during this global crisis.”

The production on “Jurassic World: Dominion” had kicked off in February and moved to England in March, before it was shut down due to the coronavirus outbreak. To ensure the safety of all cast and crew members, the production is taking numerous precautions during filming, including having Your Doctor test all cast and crew before they started on the production. The private medical facility will also test the cast and crew at times throughout production, and they will also be antibody tested.
Bryce Dallas Howard will reprise her role as Claire Dearing, with some of the original cast of the “Jurassic Park” movies, including Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum, returning. Neill recently teased how much the original cast would be involved in the upcoming movie, telling Yahoo!, “We’re all the way through the film, Jeff, and me, and Laura.”
Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, Justice Smith and B.D. Wong also star in the film, which is directed by Colin Trevorrow. The movie is set for a June 21, 2021 release in the United States.
