      The retired basketball player is staging a star-studded livestream featuring the likes of Diplo, Nelly, Olivia Culpo, and Winnie Harlow ahead of the highly-anticipated football game.

      AceShowbiz – Migos and Jack Harlow are among the stars set to take to the virtual stage for Shaquille O’Neal’s “Shaq Bowl” livestream event this Sunday (07Feb21).
      The U.S. group and rapper are on the line-up for the hotly-anticipated three-hour event, which kicks off at 3 pm ET on O’Neal’s Facebook page as well as on SHAQbowl.com.
      And as well as musical entertainment from the sportsman’s famous friends, he will also be pitting celebrities against each other in a series of challenges.
      Diplo, Nelly, Olivia Culpo, and Winnie Harlow are among the stars taking part in the celebrity face-off, while Migos stars Quavo and Offset will be playing on different teams.

      The SHAQ Bowl event will stream live from Tampa, Florida, from a custom-built stadium, ahead of the Super Bowl kick-off at 6.30 pm ET.
      This coming Sunday Super Bowl will be a face-off between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs. H.E.R. is set to perform patriotic song “America the Beautiful”, Eric Church will team up with Jazmine Sullivan to deliver “The Star-Spangled Banner”, and National Youth Poet Laureate Amanda Gorman will recite an original poem to honor COVID-19 pandemic heroes.
      For the half-time show, The Weeknd is tapped as the headliner. His performance will be slightly different from those of the performers in the previous years due to the ongoing coronavirus concerns.
      His gig will be set in the stands at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. Performers traditionally take over the centre of the field after the first half of the big game, but health and safety restrictions have driven the “Blinding Lights” singer to the terraces.
      There won’t be any special guests either during his performance.

      Chris Martin and his bandmates are gearing up for their next studio installment reportedly called ‘Music of the Spheres’, more than a year after their last album.

      AceShowbiz – Coldplay are reportedly gearing up to release a new album.
      The band – comprised of Chris Martin, Jon Buckland, Guy Berryman, and Will Champion – have made the biggest hint their next LP is imminent and that it is called “Music of the Spheres”, after they formally trademarked the term, according to Britain’s The Sun newspaper.
      “Chris and co. have been dropping hints for a while but now it’s finally getting off the ground,” a source told the publication. “They’ve been busy working on new music during lockdown and it’ll all culminate in the record, which has the working title Music Of The Spheres. Chris and the group have now officially trademarked the name ready for an album. It also includes merchandise and everything they’d need for a tour. It’s a really exciting time for everyone. There’s no doubt this project will also go straight to the top spot.”

      Coldplay’s last album was “Everyday Life”, which they dropped in 2019.
      The band refused to go on a tour to promote the album. Back then, they said they didn’t plan on hitting the road again until they could figure out how their concerts could be “actively beneficial” for the environment.
      “Our next tour will be the best possible version of a tour like that environmentally,” Chris Martin explained. “We would be disappointed if it’s not carbon neutral.”
      “We’ve done a lot of big tours at this point. How do we turn it around so it’s no so much taking as giving?”

      AceShowbiz – Rita Ora doesn’t want her creativity to be “limited to one department.”
      The “Let You Love Me” hitmaker is primarily a singer but she has also done some acting and television work, too, and she would like to continue to take on different jobs like Madonna and Marilyn Monroe.
      Speaking about her diverse career, she told Britain’s The Sun newspaper, “I’ve had 13 top ten singles in the U.K. without being born here, and only hard work got me here – along with the support of my family, friends and fans. So I’m determined to keep going. I want to do more films, more TV and more fashion.”
      “I want to create on all platforms because I grew up watching my idols like Madonna, Whitney Houston, Aaliyah, Cher and Marilyn Monroe. They showed you don’t have to stick to one thing, you can do everything. Creating isn’t limited to one department – and that’s what I love about what I do.”

      And the singer can’t wait to get back on out on the road and perform.
      Of her music career, she added, “The highlight of being a musician has always been performing. There is nothing more rewarding than touring and playing live. Working with David Guetta has been an amazing experience. He’s fantastic and so professional. He says work comes first, nothing else matters apart from your work, which he is so right about – and good work always stands out.”
      Rita has come under fire in the past for her style choices but she insists she doesn’t care what other people think and says it is a “totally personal thing.”
      “I really think style is a totally personal thing – if someone doesn’t like something I wear, they don’t have to, that’s totally fine,” she insisted. “What’s important is I just need to feel confident about me and how I feel – that’s all that matters to me. I don’t care what anyone else thinks.”

      AceShowbiz – Cardi B just released a new single “Up” on Thursday, February 4 and it already sparked controversy. On the same day, New Jersey rappers Mir Fontane and Mir Pesos took to Twitter to suggest that the Grammy-winning raptress plagiarized their hook for her new track.
      “@iamcardib we want my money,” wrote Mir Pesos on the blue bird app. As for the receipt, Pesos attached a mash-up video of Cardi’s new single with his 2020 song “Stuck” with Mir Fontane. Both songs have rappers rapping, “Up then it’s stuck,” in the chorus in melody and beat that is undeniably similar.

      In response to stealing allegations, Cardi responded in a tweet, “F**k the drama .RUN THE NUMBERS UP !!!” Cardi then posted a clip from August 7 Instagram Live session she had with Megan Thee Stallion in which she previewed “Up”. “AUGUST 7th now go check buddy’s date,” Cardi told Fontane.

      Later, Fontane noted that while the music video for “Stuck” on September 15, 2020, they “previewed ‘STUCK’ on August 6th at the end of this video and recorded it even earlier than that, Respectfully.”
      The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker then appeared to dismiss the allegations. “Naaa im the type of person that avoids problems & court days. If i get inspired by a song I wouldn’t mind giving a percentage or couple of thousand but I never Hurd if this man,” so she told a fan. “I’m glad while I was recording this song in August I was playing wit the hook on this live.”
      The wife of Offset further noted that she’s not a producer. If someone has issues with a beat, she suggested the person to “take it up with them.” Unfazed by the accusations, Cardi also revealed that drama “doesn’t even bother me.”

      AceShowbiz – Rockers Dashboard Confessional are returning to the virtual stage for a special Valentine’s Day (February 14) set, eight months after frontman Chris Carrabba was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident.
      The singer suffered “severe but not life threatening” injuries back in June (20) and faced months of recovery, but he recently reunited with his bandmates to perform for the first time post-accident at the Riverside Revival Church in Nashville, Tennessee.
      The “Lonely Hearts & Lovers” gig was filmed, and will debut at 7 pm ET on the most romantic day of the year.
      “Nearly a year ago, our 20 year celebration came to a halt when everyone’s lives were changed by COVID,” Carrabba shared in a statement.
      “Then, I was in an accident that left me worried that I would never be able to play music again. I received so much kindness from people I know and people I don’t know.”

      “I can’t explain what it felt like to get back in the room with my bandmates and play music again,” he continued.

      Rita’s decision to erase her Instagram page and start again came after she reportedly lost 200,000 followers on the social media site due to her rule-breaking during the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown.
      The singer was so desperate to celebrate her 30th birthday and socialise, she invited friends to join her at Casa Cruz on 28 November (20) – just four days before London’s second lockdown was lifted.
      The bash was busted by police and venue officials were heavily fined, a cost Ora took care of as she issued a public apology for her “serious and inexcusable error of judgment.”
      She’s now in Australia, where she is quarantining in a hotel for 14 days ahead of reprising her judging role on “The Voice Australia”.

      She told Zane Lowe on Apple Music: “I wanted to do something really different. It took me more than a month …we started rehearsing in December for this moment …The grind don’t stop. I thought that my last song was more sexy … I wanted to do something more gangster, more cocky.”
      “My last song was very sexual, very sexual. So I always want my next songs to be different than the one before. If a topic on one of my songs is money, the other topic I want it to be about something else. When I started rapping, when I first put music out, like my mixtape, it was all … This might sound crazy, but I got really inspired of Drill Chicago music. I was young, and I liked that and everything, so my mixtape was very all about gangster violence. If it’s up, then it’s stuck. That’s where I wanted to take it with this record.”
      “Up” is set to feature on Cardi’s follow-up to her 2018 critically-acclaimed debut studio album, “Invasion of Privacy”.

      The 52-year-old frontman told USA Today, “So there was a house down the street from where I live that I actually rented about 10 years ago. It was an old house built in the ’40s, I believe – just the quintessential creepy house. The person that owns the place told me stories like, ‘Oh, Joe Cocker used to party here with the guy that played Grizzly Adams (Dan Haggerty).”
      “When I lived there, I didn’t consider it to be a spooky house. My kids did. My daughter, Harper, would see things and other people in her room at night, but she was three years old at the time… But when we came back to record this (album), everybody felt creeped out and you could go one of two ways: You could run screaming out the front door with your tail between your legs or you could put your head down and make nine songs and then get the f**k out of there. That’s basically what we did.”
      Asked if he saw any ghosts, he said, “I’ve never been that paranormal experience television show-type person. I’ve never wandered around my basement with infrared goggles looking for heat sensors. The worst part is just feeling it. It’s not like you’re seeing floating bedsheets and vomiting pea soup – it’s like you feel somebody next to you or hear footsteps or have reoccurring dreams of an old woman in a muddy sweater barefoot in your living room. Things like that.”
      But the spirits in the mansion helped the band produce a great album. “Maybe whatever was in that house influenced us to make our first boogie-rock production,” Grohl added. “So hallelujah! Whatever the f**k it was, it worked.”
